We rented a camper here for the night to see if it was worthy of a longer stay in the future. The kids were excited about many of the activities available. However, on the day of our stay they were not available (and according to the staff this was the first time they've ever done this). When we went to purchase the required tokens for these activities, the staff at main desk told us the manager had instructed them to stop providing tokens because they were understaffed. I was irritated by that. We paid the same price to be here as everyone else. Others were still able to do these activities because they bought tokens before the manager made this decision. So if guests are already using the canoes and paddle boards, why stop some from enjoying these activities and buying the tokens, but not the people who already had tokens? It made no sense and my children were heartbroken. I asked to speak to the manager and didn't even get as much as a fake apology. She just kept giving me this look that basically translated as "sucks to be you". She was quite possibly the rudest person I've ever dealt with in a customer service situation (and the two young ladies working the front desk really weren't much better). For that reason alone we will never come back. While at the water park, we chatted with two young ladies working as lifeguards. Their names were Keyla and Tabby, we shared our frustrating story with them and they responded the way customer service reps should. They understood our frustration and also thought the decision was odd. Keyla even seemed certain that she could get us some tokens and wanted to try. I appriciated their sincerity and wanting to help, I declined her offer as that portion of the park was closing soon. These young lifeguards should be working the front counter and either would make a far superior manager. But back to why Logos Land sucks. The water park isn't all that fun. The water slides are ridiculous. The kids actually had to use the side of the slide to push themselves down with their hands. That's not really a slide if you ask me. As for the camper we rented. The beds are disgusting and stained. I was prepared for that and brought sleeping bags for everyone. My main concern is What is up with the tap water!!! It smells like sewage, and that is not an exaggeration. Even running the faucet for a short time would stink up the trailer for hours. The toilet shouldn't smell worse after you flush it! I spoke to other guests and their water smelled the same. The tap water can't possibly be safe to drink, and yet there are no warnings about it nor was anything mentioned when we made our reservation or when we checked in. They are certainly more than happy to sell you extremely overpriced bottled water though. If you are going to visit Logos Land despite this review, here's my advice. Bring enough bottled water with you for your stay. Bring sleeping bags and pillows with you. Bring paper plates, plastic cutlery etc. The water in the taps doesn't get warm enough to properly clean the dishes, and why would you want to use dishes washed in water that is most likely not fit for consumption anyway. Also buy your firewood before you come here. Something we learned from other reviews and also prepared for. The firewood available here is inadequate and also overpriced. Overall a horrible and disappointing first camping experience for my children. We will not return, and I'm glad we only paid for one overnight stay to try it out. We originally were going to book a 3 night stay. After my encounter with the manager, I guarantee no refund would have offered had we left early. read more
