I reached out to them last week after water started falling from the upstairs bathroom into the first floor bathroom of the duplex we own. I sent them a message via Yelp and their office responded within the hour, allowing me to pick the time when they would come out the following day. And from there we were rolling. During the initial visit, Cody deduced that there was likely a problem with the flange and wax ring in the upstairs toilet. When they came back the next work day to do the work, we ended up having to get into the walls, where it was easy to see that the 100+-year-old cast iron pipes, original to the home, were actually rusting, with very noticeable cracks in them, leaking water throughout. Over the next day and a half, YSOP replaced ye olde pipes, patched another leak, replaced the flanges on both toilets in the building and moved the plumbing for the basement washing machines, since they already had to work in that vicinity anyway. This was a big job, that didn't come cheap, but they were upfront with all costs and kept to their quote. I also appreciated that they called to give me a 20-minute warning before they showed up each time. Through and through, YSOP was easy to work with, respectful of me and my property and thorough communicated. I will definitely use them again!

Paul came to my home and gave a thorough estimate and detailed drawing of what they would do. He explained how it would work and answered all my questions, no matter how many times I called or texted. The job was on the small side so Curtis and his amazing crew were able to finish the job in one day. They installed a curtain drain (buried) throughout my yard, and a sump pump in my basement. The sump pump is also tied to the new drain system. Looking at my yard after the job you can't tell they were here. Curtis and his crew were able to save my sod and put it back over parts of the drainage system! They were fast and super clean! SMH But today Jason with Maeser was at our house within 30 minutes of our call and done with all repairs within the hour! And Maesers cost was less than half of the other company's quote! Not only that Jason was the most respectful kind man and he was obviously very knowledgeable. And he saved us from having to go to a hotel room tonight because we had no water. I hired Raatz Fencing Company at my builder's recommendation because they were familiar with our…read moreneighborhood HOA requirements and had a good reputation locally. At their request, I provided a plat plan and was given an estimate that included specific measurements which would have kept the fence fully within my property boundary. The initial installation looked well done from a workmanship standpoint and based on that I recommended Raatz to three neighbors, all of whom ended up using them for their fences. A few months later, once construction began on the neighboring property, it became clear that the fence had been installed over the property line. Upon further review, the issue appears to be that the installation crew did not follow the measurements listed on the original estimate. Instead, they extended the fence by approximately 7 to 8 feet on one side for reasons that were never explained. Had the crew followed the documented measurements, the fence would not have crossed the property boundary. When I contacted the company to correct what was clearly an installation error, I was told that their crews are instructed not to follow the estimate's measurements and that it was my responsibility to verify the work during installation. This response makes no sense. As a homeowner, I relied on the estimate, the provided plat plan, and the company's stated expertise to ensure the fence was installed correctly. I should not be expected to oversee measurements or catch deviations from the company's own documentation. To make matters worse, I am now being charged to correct a mistake that was the direct result of their installation decisions. The stress and additional cost of fixing this has completely overshadowed what initially appeared to be quality work. While the fence materials and appearance may be good, correct placement is fundamental. Based on how this situation was handled and the refusal to take responsibility, I cannot recommend Raatz Fencing Company.

This job was started may 10 and I was very specific it had to be finished may 16 for realtor pics on 17th. They didn't show up on 15th and didn't call. Rained on 16th. On 17th, they rushed to get finished before pictures and were still there when photographer showed up. I hurriedly wrote a check to Ben Macy, the owner. As you can see in the pictures, there is spacing on the railing. The stairs are awful, looks like wonky stairs at a fun house. They are not level. They are leaning. The stair rails are leaning. How is this considered quality work?? I was told it's because we used the original risers. But my stairs were not crooked at all before this. As you can see, the first board is not level with concrete. This has nothing to do with riser- previous board was completely level with walkway. The next day, the18th, we talked and i told him i need the stairs to not be leaning. He said they'd be out the next week. Didn't hear from him, they didn't show up. I called Ben on may 29. They couldn't come out that week because they were finishing a big job. WHAT ABOUT MY JOB YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED?? Today is June 13 and i still haven't heard from Ben or seen his crew.
