Every Saturday morning feels like a reset for the soul. It's at the old sugar mill Saturday's 8:30-1:30. No early birds! You have to wait until 8:30 to shop, no exceptions. What truly sets this market apart, though, is the people. The vendors are some of the best you'll ever meet -- kind, honest, hardworking, and genuinely passionate about what they do. I've met some truly wonderful people here, the kind who make you feel connected to the community the moment you arrive. From local organic produce to fresh flowers, honey, mushrooms, handmade jewelry, sourdough bread, and so much more, there's always something special to discover. It's getting more popular and busier each week, which is such a good thing -- it speaks to how special this market really is. If you love supporting local, value quality, and want to experience the heart of the North Shore, Waialua Farmers Market is a must. I honestly can't say enough good things about it. It's a smaller market but great local vendors with tons of local produce. They also have a few vendors with local crafts, jewelry, soaps etc. One of my favorites was the local peanut butter-- definitely recommend trying a sample from them! It is a dirt lot and can get a bit dusty. It also gets hotter later in the day- I def recommend trying to get in as early as possible for best selection and weather.

Parking was tight (but free!) and I found a spot after a few minutes before making my way into a covered common area. There were many vendors packed into a small space of the Pikake Pavilion making it somewhat difficult to navigate but forced me to slow down and take it all in. There were may food vendors, some crafts, and local produce available to peruse. The variety was nice and the prices reasonable. Everyone was very friendly and I had a great time shopping. My husband and I bought some honey and a number of apple bananas. There is a small seating area where you can enjoy your bounty or simply relax. We walked around the grounds and were entranced by a pair of peacocks hanging out in some very high branches. Due to recent rains, there was a swollen river to sit down by and watch the clouds roll by from under a fantastically large and beautiful tree. Wish I had been able to check into this location with time to tour the rest of the grounds.

There were some good eats here. Prices are average. My fave was the slushy honey pineapple drink in a coconut shell for $10. Don't pass this up. Good thing their was no entrance fee. There is limited parking. This was held at the 'Waimea Visitors Center'. Just don't expect an actual farmers Market...[113/100]

The farmers market itself is great! A good variety of food and drinks and prices not too too bad for a touristy area. Venders all seemed to have smiles on their faces which added to the ambiance. Service was great too. We enjoyed mochi waffles, pasta, tiger milk (boba tea inspired)-- all delicious. My husband also enjoyed his Indian Asian fusion steamed potstickers.

Theres so many food, clothing, produce and local good vendors to choose from. Dog friendly but if you bring your fur babies make sure they are comfortable in crowds and they are okay with other dogs because there are a lot of dogs there. I usually stop by on Saturday mornings and pick up my fresh mochi from Izu Mochi, waffles from aiwi waffle, green smoothie from Oma'o man truck, venison bone broth from Petfood Hawaii, and so much more and Vermilli makes such cute hawaiian printed suits and clothing. There is parking there or in the side streets. One of the best farmers markets on the island.

She did find a couple different kinds of banana and bought a couple of each. They had so many amazing things it made for a great place to stop. They were close to closing, so we really didn't get a great look at things. Plus, we were on our way to the beach. I wish I could remember the other thing my wife bought, I just remember she loved it. Since my son likes to get unusual ball caps, he bought one there. I was about to buy one for myself when he bought it, but I couldn't do that to him. An amazing place to stop for fresh fruit.

It was a yearly thing for us - late Mar through mid-Apr. Fried bananas were awesome too! But then we started seeing produce boxes and packaging that were similar to the ones back home in NY. My kids picked up on it and at first I just brushed it off - No way would they be buying fruit from the grocery store and upcharging tourists. Not these sweet little old ladies. Turns out, that's exactly what they were doing. Fast forward to our most recent trip - April 2nd 2026. Trump's tariffs went into effect and all of a sudden, none of the exotic fruits were to be found. The sweet little old ladies, who btw are all filipinos (not native Hawaiians), claimed that the fruits we've been buying during same time for several years were now out of season! Hmmm..... sus! The only fruits they had were papayas, mangoes, guava and coconut slices. Please beware before shelling out top dollars thinking the fruit at these stands are locally grown! And now the prices for the same plastic bags are $7.

Even back then, this place had the same vibrancy and legacy of local Hawaii. I remember how the everyday, friendly conversations between vendors and customers felt strangely comforting amid the lively noise and bustle. It is natural that health-conscious people gather here, but I truly hope that the simple, genuine communication unique to this place will continue forever. No one would doubt that the fresh local produce of Hawaii nourishes both body and soul. Even after living here for many years, I still find myself recharging my energy at KCC when I feel tired. After all, KCC Farmers Market remains my favorite place and location.
