The absolute BEST people work at the location at 2235 Thousand Oaks. They're so kind, knowledgeable and quick to help you when you're not sure what to get. They're also not pushy with expensive items and will recommend based on your price range without making you feel broke!! The customer service has really declined. They sell prosecco, and if you asked, they'd put it in the fridge so it's chilled the next time you come in. I used to go in several times a week, for the convenience, but not anymore. It's cheaper to go to heb anyway. Then it's a tiny store to be able to walk through anyway and yet they have people setting up to try and sell you alcohol like some sort of venue. So you're getting hit with sales people as you just wanna grab your stuff and go. read more

Everyone is so helpful and friendly here! I recommend anyone who lives in this area to do their shopping here rather than any other liquor store. Any time i come, I am always greeted instantly upon walking in the door and they treat you like family rather than "just some customer". read more

Quick, easy, fast service and great attitude. Came in, and someone greeted me instantly. He asked what I was looking for, walked me to it, and then asked if I needed anything else. I told him I needed beer salt, and he went and grabbed it for me and told me to wait at the register for him. In and out in less than 5 minutes. read more

New local liquor store. Actually there was a previous liquor store here for over 35 years but the owners retired. Now under a new name and owner they are ready to serve your local liquor, beer, wine, cigar and lotto needs. Each Friday and Saturday evenings they offer samples of different spirits. We came today and we were greeted by wonderful people. They made you feel like family. I happen to just stop by to get a lotto ticket and my niece ended up buying some liquor. Lol. Omgulay LOL. I love their lively sign with an emoji. It really stands out at night. Stars 1 star for service 1 star for facilities 1 star for items on stock 1 star for parking and location 1 star for overall experience. See you again LOL! Really. read more

Despite how tiny the store is, Live Oak Liquors is a pretty great one -stop shop for all your drinking needs plus a few curve balls to keep things interesting (lookin at you, rat-shaped pipe that's been chillin with all the smoking gear by the register) While I enjoy roaming around Don's or Spec's, I love how I can just be in and out of LOL with whatever I need. The owner is always behind the counter and is such a nice guy too, quick to let you know whats on special or even if you grab something regular price, he might just come up with a deal. To sum up, they offer a great selection, tons of specials, a barrel full of $5-10 bottles, and random samplings every Friday and Saturday. read more

I absolutely love this local liquor store!! Best prices and so humble! I was accidentally charged regular price on a bottle that was on sale, the owner came to my car while I was in the parking lot and gave me a free bottle and told me about the over charge!! He didn't have to do that!! If it was spec's I would have been SOL. Support this liquor store, I promise you won't be disappointed!! read more

Would not recommend shopping here unless you are a big fan of price gouging or enjoy someone following you around the store trying to upsell you. Tried this place out twice because it's close to where we live, and both times we wished we would have driven out just a little further and saved the money/hassle. read more

Ordered beer and wine for delivery, wine was wrong beer was wrong size and hot. The prices were changed after the order was placed. It was our second order, should have learned my lesson the first time. These people are crooks, go to total wine , and avoid LOL Liquor at all cost! read more

We love this place. Very customer focused. If he doesn't have what you're looking for, he'll order it! Very knowledgeable and solid recommendations for drinks and mixers. More than you'd ever expect from your local liquor dealer. That guy Paras is truly a diamond in the rough. I genuinely believe he'd give me the shirt off of his back if I asked for it and I've only had the pleasure of meeting him a hand full of times. He has an amazing selection of whiskey and you'd never know it just by driving by. He even went out of his way to order me a whiskey that they didn't have in stock ( Ranger Creek .44 Rye ). I will never WILLINGLY give my business to anyone else after having shopped here and I knew that from my first purchase. Even created this yelp account just so I could leave this review. Seriously the least I could do. These guys are rock stars! read more

I stopped by here one weekend, after receiving a flyer about their free tastings every Friday and Saturday. For a small store, they had a great variety of products. I wanted to try something new and the owner was very helpful and friendly. It's nice to see little mom and pop places like this around town. It's much rather go here then fight the traffic on the interstate to go to one of those big stores. I've been meaning to write a review to say thanks for the tips.
