They do take reservations but it's cool to go up to the bar area if you don't need a section or large table. A few groups were celebrating a birthday which is a good idea because parking is free and no cover. Bottle service is not as overpriced compared to other nightclubs. You can start as low as $100 for Teramana tequila. We went on a Saturday night that was marketed as international night. Some soca, dancehall and afrobeat was played but for only about 30 minutes. Me and my best friend stopped by here randomly on Thursday and surprisingly they were having karaoke bingo which was so much fun! We played the game, singed and won prizes. That was a good time! Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the food. I tried the honey hot wings and they were soooooo small and the wing flavor was just okay. The ranch and ketchup containers were really small too. Not sure what's the small stuff was about but definitely not worth the $16 plus tax and gratuity that's already included in the cost. Crinkle cut fries came with it but it didn't suffice for the tiny wings. My friend ordered the suya and I tried some. The flavoring was mild but tasted better than my wings. The drinks were really good though. Made well, came out fast and were at a discount for the night. I was still hungry after I left that place. I would visit again for drinks only, but no food for me. The service on Retro Thursday, when I visited was top shelf, until it was time to pay - from security at the door to the servers. That being said, the food was 7 out of ten (not as flavorful as I would have liked). I ordered tacos - beef, Shrimp & chicken. Shrimp was my favorite. The drinks were great! Not many flavors, like blackberry, pineapple...etc. I had a strawberry long Island *shout out to the bartender * that 1 drank had me on 100. The vibe was nice and the music started good but then the DJ went some place that I wasn't feeling and the more bland the music became the louder it got. ‍ Payment was weird af. They ONLY take cards with the chip - no digital payments (unless you cashapp the manager directly). In our case we had to because I planned to pay with an older card of mine that doesn't have the chip. They did NOT have a CC swiper & don't take cash. I mean leaving was a struggle. Overall, this place is a nice spot and I thank the owners for bringing this out to the sticks of Cobb County. The spot is in the old Marcos Pizza location and caters to a hip hop & R&B crowd. At least that's what the DJ was playing when I was there. It is clean, smells good and the staff were all smiles. I felt welcome and would be back. I got the Lemon Pepper Wings to go and sipped on a beer while I waited. The kitchen was pretty fast with the order. The wings needed more seasoning. Think hotel banquet quality, its just good enough to eat. So why, not 5 stars? Well, its the mandatory 20% tip on all checks , even to-go orders, and the misleading "tip" line item on the slip to sign. I dont think the owners are trying to scam its customers and Im sure its on the menu somewhere, I just don't care for places that do this. At least take it off the slip customers sign! The atmosphere was amazing. Very nice and clean. Comfortable seating and decor was clearly well thought out. I had the shrimp tacos and spinach dip. Shrimp tacos were pretty good, they were fresh and hot but could use a little more sauce or maybe a salsa because they were a little dry. The spinach dip was great. Came here for the first time last weekend to celebrate my bestie's bday. We came on a Tuesday night so it was slow but the food was really good and so was the service. We started with lemon drop martinis and the bang bang shrimp and a caesar salad as an appetizer. I got the lamb chops and my bestie go teh chicken alfredo pasta. First off, I am a firm believer in magic.Not like magicians (I'm an illusionist, Michael) but more like the Universe sometimes hands a person a lifeline when they are struggling. And it's important to recognize those moments, no matter how dark the rest of the world seems at the time. I've been super lucky that, even in the bleakest moments there has been at least one bright, glimmering spark. That spark can ignite embers of hope when the world seems dark and damp. We found that spark tonight in a place called Lomi, and a server named Kya. First off, the place is really beautiful. It's clean without being esoteric and bright without being overwhelming. The music was loud, but the music was good. They have comfy sofas (that don't swallow you up like Pinocchio versus the whale) and ample tables. This comes in handy for the hookahs, which they offer in a multitude of flavors. Full disclosure, we did not try these, but it's always awesome to watch other people. What we did try was the food and the cocktails, and they were both better than they had any right to be. We were told that the chef's name was Omar, and I hope that he reads this. We ordered a burger and an order of fish and chips, both of which came with crinkle cut fries. I don't usually go through all of my fries when I get an entree, but these were really perfect. I know I'm wiping back to front with this review, but it's always the little things that make the difference. The burger was solid. It had an unmistakable flame-kissed taste, and was a hearty portion without being too much of a good thing. It was REALLY good bar food, and our server gave us all the condiments on the side, which was awesome. The fish and chips were probably some of the best I have ever tasted. Better than they had a right to be. I was amazed to go back over the menu and find out that it was tilapia and not cod. Chef Omar changed my mind about tilapia tonight. The fish was firm and flaky, and not at all fishy. My husband (who dislikes cooked fish generally) said that he would be happy to try it again. I only gave him a small bite though, because it was really good and he already had a burger and maybe I'm a little selfish. The fish was served with cocktail sauce, hot sauce (yes!) and tartar sauce on the side, along with ketchup for the fries. Having that buffet of dip is absolutely my jam. Hot sauce plus tartar sauce might be my new mayo. Our drinks were priced upscale, but were also really well crafted. We ordered the Bob Marley, which is a layered rum drink that looks like a Jamaican flag. The presentation was really impressive, and it was almost a shame to mix it all up. We also ordered a Sex on the beach, which was made better than any of the TGIAppleRubyTuesdayChilis out there. The ambience was, as I mentioned earlier, colorful yet mellow. It had a chill vibe to it, and the music was curated by a DJ (not sure if live or not) with an emphasis on R&B. We both had our phones out to find that music so we could listen to it again. One of the things our server Kya mentioned was the table in the back sporting some fun board games which were free to play. Uno, Connect Four, and even Monopoly. I imagine that would be a really fun thing to do while smoking your hookah! Maybe not Monopoly. That game always seems a little mean. They have specials on Sundays and Thursdays before nine, with 4 dollar tacos (steak, chicken, or the aforementioned awesome fried fish) and are also open late. I imagine the place gets a different vibe earlier on AND later on, but we really liked the spot we found ourselves in. And we will definitely be back. My husband will be ordering fish tacos for the first time if we do. I need to give a shout out to Kya, our server. She met us at the door and it was like she expected us. We were two middle aged white guys in an R&B hookah club and we felt welcomed with open arms. It had been a bad week and we were staying at a hotel, displaced from our apartment due to a disaster. It was super stressful and we were honestly looking for a place that served dinner past 9 PM on a Sunday. Deciding on a whim to try this place was the best decision (aside from having renters insurance) that we had made recently. Kya was super knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions. She was friendly and kind and funny. She also gave us great pointers for making the most out of a hotel fridge for cocktails. I'm drinking one of her bourbon/orange juice/ginger ale "old fashions" as I type. She couldn't know this, but I really needed some kindness, some friendly chat, someone who wasn't in a hurry to get me out of their hair. She treated us like friends, and we felt like friends. That's the magic I was talking about. I really hope this place is here for a long time. Omar and Kya are special, and this was a special place on a dark night. They were very nice, extremely attentive, and took care of all of us. The food was good! Hot, fresh, and tasted AMAZING. Everyone had something different and no one had a complaint about their meal. I had the mild wings with lemon pepper seasoning!! Drinks were on point! And the hookah was good too! I met the owner and let him know how amazing the staff and venue were. The music was on point. I'm not sure what time but at some point a DJ came in and his was jamming as well. Plenty of space. It was nice and clean. The Food was not the best. The grease was not clean and I could taste it in my fries. When my table told the manager about the dissatisfaction with the food, the manager came to our table apologized, stated that he would return and did not. By far the worst service I've received in awhile. Came here for a birthday celebration so we were expecting to have a good time. Thanks to the manager's service and the poor quality of the food it was not enjoyable. Drinks were good, but the manager's service and way of dealing with customers is not top tier. This place is nice in the inside a bit of a vibe. However, the food is not flavorful has no taste no seasoning. The service was terrible. My waitress overcharged me and added an extra drink to my order after I bought everyone a round of shots. They also charge a large percentage of gratuity on your tab which is a ridiculous percentage. Then someone at another table decides not to pay and walks out! As I was walking out the security said I can't leave because that person was with me, when I have never even met this person. I was pissed I'm paid over $200 on my tab, and paid for food that I sent back overcharged extra drinks to my tab. Then the store manager/owner idk stated to the waitress they're not responsible. They paid their tabs already, you have to let them go. But the fact that I was held at the door not able to walk out after spending all that money in this establishment was upsettin. How dare they try to embarrass me at the door like I didn't pay my money for somebody else's tab that was walked out, that again I didn't even know. I would never be returning back here again. They will never see a dime of my money. If I could give zero stars, I would, but i guess one star for the music and ambiance is fair. Y'all should really train your waitresses and employees better, security should be told they're not allowed to hold anyone at the door if they paid!!! And the waitresses should be more attentive, and maybe people wouldn't walk out on their tabs, they also need to charge people the correct amount. This is a very big issue. I went on a Saturday night around 9pm by myself just to have a have a drink and relax. It wasn't a lot of people in there however, the bar was full. Their was 2 tables available, one seated two and the other seated three. The waitress told me I could sit at the table with two seats. I sit down and ask another waitress about a specific drink I was interested in ordering. I wasn't there no more than 10 minutes, and the same waitress told me I'm so many words I would have to get up out my seat because two other people just came and she wanted to seat them were I was sitting. I asked her do we have to pay for the seating because I'll pay, she stated, no. She told me that people reserve seats and I would have to get up and stand with my drink. She apologized, but I was very upset and I just left. This was my first time at this and I wanted to check it out. I asked did they reserved the seats and I didn't get a direct answer, so I assumed they didn't. I wasn't happy with treatment, however the place looked nice and relaxed.
