It is very spacious and beautifully decorated. We were greeted immediately by Muhammad and received our hookah right away. The hookah was very good. I just wanted to find a place, that wasn't a coffee shop, where I could relax, smoke a bit of hookah, eat, and work a bit without seeming like a creepy woman in the corner loitering. I'm so glad I took the leap and gave this place a try. I was staying at the nearby Radisson and had eaten their terrible food the night before. I decided to go on Yelp and see if anything good was within walking distance, and this place stood out. I walked over to Rotana at about 7 PM and noticed that the place was dead. Not a soul around, save for the person working there. I almost turned around to look for something else, but I decided to go for it based on the good reviews. Well, the reason the place was dead was that it was Ramadan! Apparently, the place would get crazy at 9 PM because the Muslims were fasting for Ramadan. So, I ordered the beef shawarma. Man, it was so good! I've had beef shawarma a few times, and this was the best so far. The beef was delicious, the hummus fantastic... everything was great and beautifully presented. There's not much of anything interesting within walking distance of the Radisson, so if you are feeling a little more adventurous than Applebee's (and you don't need an alcoholic drink- no alcohol served here), I highly recommend Rotana. I am super glad I found this place because, I've been looking to find a place near home for quite some time. The place itself is very spacious and has a relaxing design for the interior. I was greeted with honest genuine hospitality from Heather and her co-worker! They certainly take care of you and help you feel at home while you are there. They even have a really amazing rewards system, that I haven't come across from any of the other hookah places I've been to. I tried their Turkish coffee with a little bit of sugar and it complimented the hookah really well. They also have some other food that I will definitely try the next time I come back!
