Post covid recovery I work in an industry where BCP and DR plans are paramount. No, we're not saving lives. It's all subjective and damn near silly. Customer service was welcoming and hookah served as if they remembered they needed hot charcoal ready. No alcohol served. BYOB $15 per bottle of what you bring. Food is good. Bathroom- one per person not ideal for women but the restroom was clean.

    Cajun Chicken pasta

I got this food from Uber Eats yesterday and it was so disgusting. I got a Cajun chicken pasta. You can tell the chicken was cooked and frozen forever ago and thawed out. But to me, the worst part was the sauce. You can tell the sauce came directly from a jar and had no flavor whatsoever. Then a thick layer of cheese melted on top. Worst food I ever had and I could only eat a bite. A waste of money. Then I got a side of hummus for $10 this was thinly spread throughout a box. I got ripped off.

Growing up in an international home life filled with a variety of music, food, movies, and family friends from all over the world, it was nice to have ladies time with my mother dear and twin sister at an amazing Turkish restaurant called, Rotana Restaurant & Hookah Lounge. The food was exquisite and the service was outstanding!! I look forward to returning.

I arrived in Atlanta today for a business trip and this restaurant was close by to my hotel. My coworker and I had a great time enjoying the live music and hospitable restaurant owner, Heather. I had the lamb plate. It came with a nice tomato and cucumber salad marinated in tahini dressing, rice, freshed pita bread, hummus and 4 well marinated lamb chops. Everything was delicious! My coworker had the veggie platter. It came with pita bread, cucumber and tomatoes salad, rice, hummus and falafel. Glad we found this place! This is a hookah place too. Unfortunately we didn't try the hookah; however, I'm sure this is nice too. The interior is dimly lit for an intimate chill out time. We sat outside. It was beautiful out.

The sides and garnish are missing! Over cooked, dry, bland and had lots of hard things in it I had to spit out.

I got delivery from here and it was a mess and gross and they missed a ton of stuff in every dish. I will never order from this piece of crap disgusting "restaurant" again. Oh, and this was like $80. Ha

I came late night after work and had the chicken kabaab was really good chicken was exactly how Kansans should taste and love the grilled tomato ate that first seems to be on the Turkish Persian side? Anyways was made fresh for it to go, really good if it's late and you want quality food. Oh the inside decor is nice too

Came for a chill night with friends. We weren't really hungry so I can't speak too much to the food but everything looked great. We just got mozzarella sticks and fries and they were good. I also had the lemon mint juice which was spectacular. They do not serve alcohol but you can BYOB for a $10 charge. Our server, May, kept the coals fresh and checked in on us consistently. She was honest with the suggestions and recommendations. Hookah was only $20 with $8 refills. Since there were three in our group we paid an additional $5 as the hookah is only for 2 people. Would definitely come back.

I recently found this place on my yelp search and decided to check it out. This is already my second time here and I really can't stop coming here. It's a casual hangout place, great to hang with friends. They are just starting out so they are hard at work, diligently making changes to their menu and getting their party status on. The food, hookah are amazing but their service is just great! Dino does a fabulous job running the place. You've to check this place out for yourself. The food is delicious. I tried the lamb chops and the chicken kabab. The chicken kabab is my favorite. The chicken is so flavorful and is certainly unique. Overall, their menu is a treat to my palate. I also enjoyed their hot tea. For all you hookah lovers out there, the hookah is smooth and so good. One of the best out there. They have the flavors from the brand Khalil maamoon other than al fakher and I particularly liked it. Moreover, the hookah is very affordable. You've to try the hookah when you are out here.

The premium hookah was totally worth it

Food was really good! We were there after midnight and SUPER pleased. The hookah was great as well. Plan on going back.

Ask the Community - Rotana Restaurant & Hookah Lounge

What type of music do they play?

    Do they serve alcohol?

No, but you can BYOB for $10.

    Is it 18+?

Since it's a restaurant any age can come but to smoke hookah, it's 21 up.

Are they really open late hours on weekdays?

Yes. I'm here now. It's Tuesday and it's 11:40pm. I think they close at 2AM.

    Do they sell alcohol?

No. But you can bring yours for a $10 fee if I'm still correct. But would suggest to call and ask if you can bring alcohol before

    Age limit for hookah?

    18 is the age limit

Do they have a dance floor, live band, dj, etc.?

Yes, they have Dj on weekends. Call to ask when since it can be Friday or Saturday or both. They have a huge spot in the middle of all the tables where you can dance. So yes, it does have a some sort of dance floor.

    Do they serve hookah?

    Yes.

We went on a Friday night, and while it wasn't packed at first, the crowd picked up as the night went on. I really appreciated the staff for letting us move from a booth to a larger table before it got busy since our party kept growing. There were a couple of hiccups with our food, but our server resolved them quickly and without any fuss. The hookah was good with plenty of flavor options, the drinks were solid, and the food was tasty -- nothing over the top, but definitely enjoyable until later when I learned about the health score. The vibe was chill, and the music kept the energy just right. If I had two suggestions, would be to have someone assigned to bathroom duty throughout the night -- because the restroom situation was rough and only got rougher as the night went on and to get that health score up!

Soo... it's a tinge of something unpleasant in the place. But!! That's not the worse thing. The owner walks in and greeted me with let's say a very strange look on her face. Shortly after she beaks it with incense in a flame unnecessarily large to burn incense. I thought ok cool she's trying to attack the smell. She stuck the incense in the ATM. Ok...then she stood in the entry way with her back turned to me staring at me through the glass with a face appropriate for a low budget scary movie. Decided not to order food after o ordered a hookah and a corona. Hookah was visibly dusty. Check please! My $25 hookah and beer was $40.30? How? Pass!!! Never again. Hit the chefs info so I can see him at the next spot he moves on to. Very creepy experience. Need to Sage myself after visiting Sage. Bye.

The best part of the meal was probably the seasonings they have sitting on the side of the counter where you order. I do not really know who works there. First there was a lady, then there was this kid, but the kid was sitting in the lounge when I first walked in and stood there for about 5 minutes at the bar before the lady in the back who was having a conversation with the lady who makes the food I guess came from behind and walked around to the register. Their menu has absolutely no pricing. I had the peanut butter soup, which was good, but a little disappointing because the majority of the meat was nothing but fat, and there was not that much meat in it honestly. The potato that was in it literally looked like that had just cut it in two and threw it in the soup. It was good, and not that bad portion wise, but if I had known it was almost $20 I probably would have gotten something else. I was hoping to try the hookah while I waited, but evidently all of the hookahs were in need of maintenance, so that was a bust. Would like to go back in the future, maybe when they have a crowd of people or something, but overall I was disappointed.

The place is nice inside but not as intimate as I was expecting for a speakeasy. It's a fairly casual vibe inside with a bar and some seating around the sides. I really enjoyed the cocktails. They're light but really well balanced in their flavors. We had called ahead of time and were told the place closed at 10 PM but at 9:30, they already turned on the lights and were getting people to leave. We felt rushed out of there which wasn't fun especially since we called ahead. Also, there were fruit flies all over the place and in our faces. The entire time, we were fighting off the fruit flies which really dulled the experience. There was 10+ so it was very annoying. Hopefully they can fix that problem and it will make for a more enjoyable experience.

The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.

Most of the artists were awesome and the owner/manager (I'm guessing owner), made it a point (in the middle of the performances)... to take the mic, interrupt the host and let everyone know that this was an open mic night, HOWEVER a lot of money was spent to coordinate open mic night so the artists that are coming up need to make sure that their talent is up to par because this isn't Karoake ... It killed the vibe for a moment and the shift was clearly felt throughout the lounge. It was a very "OH SHXT" speech lol. Like bro, it's open mic night, your going to have the great and the not so great... The audience is there for the show regardless. But anywhoooo... They have two bars, and a spread out layout for lounge seating. It is a very open space. There is a lot of parking and they do live music and dj driven entertainment R&B was the vibes. The hookah was hitting and the hookah girl stayed on it. The bartenders both took care of everyone at the bar. The dinner menu is limited and I ordered from the appetizer menu. We ordered the fried brussel sprouts, they were out of something so we got the braised brussel sprouts (which were oven rosted and had cranberries). I appreciate the creativity, but we passed and switched to the Fried cauliflower which was much better and is my suggestion for you to try. We also had the Philly egg rolls which wre more steak than cheese or anything else... Like throw some veggies in that bih GAH. lol but so many familiar artist faces were there it was easy to catch a vibe with music, hookah and drinks... Like I said...
