A friend hit me up to link at a new Lego-inspired hookah bar. I assumed it was in Atlanta, but turns out it's actually up in Cobb off Franklin Gateway. Funny enough--I had seen this spot on TikTok about two weeks earlier! The vibes were honestly really nice, and the staff was super friendly and sincere. I'd come back just to support them again. We sat in a large sunroom area that opens into the rest of the restaurant. We ordered a handful of items, and let me just say--the food portions are huge. I ordered the salmon and literally got half the tail of the fish. Definitely worth the price. The DJ was also spinning all the right hits, and service was on point--no long waits for drinks or plates to be cleared. This place easily stands out as one of the more distinguished hookah lounges around Atlanta. The drinks are also served in some of the most creative and unique ways--A+ on presentation. I really enjoyed my appetizer the chicken wraps and chicken kabobs were both flavorful and well-prepared. The drinks were definitely Instagram-worthy, though a bit on the pricey side. Parking initially cost $5 but eventually increased to $20. They do offer free parking; however, at that time, the lot had broken glass scattered throughout, which was a concern. Our waitress, Michelle, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. I visited this location on a Sunday around 4pm. There was free parking. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and has a Lego theme which is pretty interesting. I sat at the bar and the bar manager was very friendly and helpful by providing suggestions to food and drinks. I tried the baked wings as an appetizer. I had no complaints. They were seasoned well and come with your choice of dressing. I also ordered the lamb chops as an entree. They were a little pricey but they were pretty large in size and seasoned well. I went here back in April on a date. The overall atmosphere and decor was very cool and niche. I loved the bright colors and LEGO art. I surprisingly visited this place two Sundays in a row around 5pm each time. The first Sunday (last Sunday) I met my best friend here and had two cocktails, Phoenix and Gypso. Both were beautifully made and the phoenix literally rose from the ashes as they lit the drink on fire which made a pretty cool effect. The drinks were a bit sweeter/syrupier than I'd prefer but the mixture was flavored well. For my entree, I ordered the lamb chops which came with Basmati rice, 2 asparagus, some peppers, potatoes and a mountain of minced red onions. The chops were really tinder and cooked as I requested (medium). They were medium to big in size in comparison to most places. All the food was flavored uniquely with traditional Mediterranean spices. I enjoyed my visit for the most part. The best part is the decor, if you're into social media or posting content, this is a good place to feature due to the luxury LEGO theme and creative presentation of drinks and hookahs. I visited again on this past Sunday for a friend's birthday celebration and tried their wings. I like them because the seasoning was unique and I believe they were grilled which is always a healthier choice. My friends had the meatballs and hummus which I tried. Both were good as well and seemed fresh and possibly made from scratch. I sat at the bar my first visit and at a table the second visit. Both visits the service was pretty on point. Food took a min but the server(s) and bartenders were still attentive. The only thing I must point out is the young guy in the front doing valet waiting for you to self park your car for free then telling you as you walk up to the door it's $5-$10 to park in the lot or you'll have to move your car to across the street to a random unlit lot. lol I'd suggest getting a sign or finding a better way to navigate the parking situation. The food was incredible! There were a few ambiance-type hiccups the night we were there, but the service was wonderful and the food was so outstanding it just wasn't a big deal. We started with the smoked eggplant appetizer. Whoa. So good! Just get it. Don't spend time deliberating. We then shared an Adana beef kebap platter and the chicken barg. Both of the entrees were enormous, with enough meat for at least 2 people each. The lavash and rice were delicious, as were the grilled onion and tomato that came on the side. I was amazed at how moist and tender the chicken was - I would absolutely recommend it. The night we were there it didn't come with the sides on the menu, but had the same sides as the kebap. Which, by the way, was also great. We opted to sit on their patio even though it was a chilly night because there were plenty of space heaters. The tables out there are low, with couches you can relax into - super nice. The little LED light at the table, while adorable, didn't hold its charge for more than a few minutes, and the space heaters gave off that burning dust smell you get when they haven't been used in a while. In hindsight, we probably should have sat inside, but that's on us. I didn't know about the LEGO theme or the hookah when we chose the place, but it seemed super cool. read more

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I started with the hummus, spicy feta, and babagannuş, and each one had the perfect balance of creamy, tangy, and smoky flavors. The hot mezzes were just as good--I couldn't get enough of the fried calamari and falafel baskets. For my main course, I went for one of their Oven & Grill Platters and it was next-level. Everything was grilled perfectly, seasoned beautifully, and had that authentic Mediterranean taste. My friend got the chicken parmesan, and after trying a bite, I'm definitely coming back for it next time. Now, onto the Lego Hookah experience--this was hands down one of the coolest parts of the night. Adana is the first place I've ever seen that does this! You can actually personalize the words on the Lego Hookah for birthdays, celebrations, or whatever vibe you want. They also offer the Diamonds of Diamonds Shisha and Space X Hookah (which comes with a full-on fire show!). And for those who prefer something more classic, they have traditional shisha flavors too. The vibe inside is super sleek and modern, with a large patio that's perfect for spring and summer nights. It's giving upscale but still relaxed, making it great for both dinner dates and group outings. Plus, parking was a breeze since they have their own lot. I love that this is the sister restaurant to Pera ATL, because they clearly brought the same attention to detail, quality, and experience here. The staff was friendly and attentive, and everything felt well thought out and intentionally designed. Adana had been on our list for a while, so we were genuinely excited to finally check it out--but the experience was super disappointing from the start. Our server (a guy, didn't catch his name) barely acknowledged us. He didn't really check on us during our meal. It took about 30 minutes just to get our first round of drinks, and when they finally came, they were weak. On top of that, he half assed cleared our dirty dishes--we were just sitting there with empty plates and glasses the whole time. He mentioned that he'd had a long day, and honestly, it showed. He seemed totally checked out and only reappeared to ask us to close out the tab. I get that everyone has off days, but it really felt like we were just an afterthought. He was really friendly with other tables just not us. The vibe inside wasn't great either--some of the other guests gave off kind of a creepy energy, which made the space feel uncomfortable, not warm or welcoming. First off it seemed like parking was limited since it's in a building with several other businesses. The aesthetics and music was pretty good as well. I say at the bar where I was greeted and ordered the salmon and mash potatoes with a salad. I ordered a drink and never got it. The bartender did get busy and got everyone's drink but mine... I also asked an employee who looked like a manager for a side of dressing for the salad, never got it. Also when they brought my food, the gentleman brought it out to the wrong person. Took it to the back and returned to bring it to me with no apology. I've been sitting at this bar now for over half an hour and no one has asked if I was ok, refreshed my water, brought my drink or my salad dressing. It is located in a plaza near I-75 and Hwy 120. Our nav app routed us to a baseball field nearby so there may be multiple similar 'Franklin Gateway' addresses. We arrived a bit after noon and were seated promptly. The place has nice decor and a large bar. There were only a few tables occupied when we were there, though they also seemed to have a steady stream of take-out orders. We had the choice of either the brunch or the lunch menus. We went with lunch, which also seemed to have the benefit of being a bit cheaper. I ended up getting a mostly-beef kabob (like a kubideh) and my wife got a wrap. The food was pretty good. Prices were about $16 for each dish. Service was relaxed. We are not in this area that often, so I'm not sure if we'll go back. If we lived in the area, I'd consider returning. read more

I wanted to go back to check it out again since last time I was there, it was during a pretty bad storm and no one was there besides our party. They told me it was a 2 hour timeframe because of a large, which is fine but inside was pretty empty the whole time so I was confused. I ordered the trio, which had the smoked feta I LOVED last time. I then ordered the shrimp plate again. The shrimp were hard and rubbery almost like overcooked andsalty, the rice was not the saffron rice I asked for, and the salad was not the Mediterranean salad they advertise. It was lettuce with ranch. The couple next to me sent their food back because their food was cold. The manager then proceeded to bring out a free dessert for them, giving them hugs and whatever they ask for. The table next to them was getting free shots and other things by the manager. The manager did not come over to our table for a good 15 minutes. At that time when I told her about the shrimp, she specifically told me " I know, I told the kitchen to stop serving shrimp today. We have a new vendor." So, she knew that the shrimp quality was not up to par and still decided to sell it for over $30. I ordered the octopus instead. It wasn't bad but it was cold by the time it got to me. My boyfriend loved his chicken kebab and the spicy feta as well. So at least one of us had a good experience. I did get my shrimp comped but I was not offered anything besides a hug from the manager. Which I found was very weird, especially because other people receive some sort of incentive to come back. I would've loved to celebrate my birthday here but the experience was so bad this time I probably would not go back. We also had a new server who was very sweet but it was severely short staffed so it took forever for her to come back to our table. We also got a hookah, the flavor was good but the coals weren't hot so we weren't getting as much smoke as everyone else and again it was severely short staffed so we did not have someone come back for a while. This time around, I was expecting the same but not sure if the cook changed and of course different host. We actually had an amazing waitress (she was not at fault) but the food was cold when it arrived after waiting so of course my first thought was it's not fresh. We let her know and it came out a second time better for sure but Brussels sprouts were too soft and not crunchy at all. I didn't say anything this time cause it was already the second time coming out. Not sure if they just reheated it. The manager came and apologized and brought shots which was very nice. However my suggestion would be to never assume your guest is drinking or what they are drinking. I would apologize first and ask hey would you like a dessert or what type of liquor are you drinking, shot on the house from me. Because some guest may not drink at all and have preferred a desert or could be on clear not drinking brown or on brown not drinking clear so would be a waste of liquor not asking. My girlfriend and I were genuinely excited to try Adana, especially after seeing it all over social media. The idea of a LEGO-themed restaurant sounded fun and different--but when we arrived, the "theme" felt more like a vague suggestion. We were greeted a little late, though the host was friendly and helpful, letting us know the portion sizes were large and giving us the option to switch tables for comfort. It was a nice touch. Unfortunately, that's where the service highlights ended. After settling in, we sat for about 20-25 minutes without anyone checking in, no water, no menus--nothing. It looked like only one server was covering our section, and whether she was taking a break at the bar or assumed someone else had helped us, we were clearly overlooked. When she finally came over, she didn't write anything down, and sure enough, my order was wrong. I asked for the Mixed Adana Platter--twice--and ended up with the Mixed Grill Platter, which is a totally different dish and price. She even asked me at the table if I had given my order, which felt like a red flag in hindsight. When I pointed out the mistake, she offered to just "leave it there" if I wanted it, but I had to say no, since it wasn't what I ordered and was significantly more expensive. To their credit, they were apologetic throughout the experience--but it felt like that was all they had to offer: apologies, no action. Now, the food itself was fantastic. Perfectly grilled, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. That was the one saving grace of the night. The bar area looked great too, with nice lighting and chandeliers that gave the place a bit of charm. But even good food couldn't erase the frustration of being ignored, misheard, and basically forgotten--especially on a birthday dinner. We got the Meze trio with the spicy feta, babagannuş, and Olive salad, or came with a huge piece of delicious bread with sesame seeds. Two of us got the pide, which is like a flatbread pizza and so tasty, much larger than expected as well. My wife and I ordered the Adana Kebap, which may likely have been the most delicious Kebap I've ever had. We're really looking forward to returning and trying more, but it'll be difficult not to order what we already know is delicious. We also got each dessert, but I forgot to take pictures.
