We also needed a new cushion and for another cushion to be extended. They were more than happy to talk us through the process, give us plenty of time to find the PERFECT fabric, and work within our budget. It was a wait for the finished product, but it was well worth it. Finally, (this was pre-COVID, keep in mind) when I went to pick up the cushions, they saw how difficult it was going to be to fit them in my car. They spontaneously decided to deliver the cushions for me, walk them down to my boat with me, and help me put them in place. Because they went above and beyond like this, they noticed that one of the cushions didn't fit in the space perfectly. I probably would have just let it be, but they wanted to take it back and make it better, so I let them. The finished product is gorgeous and exactly what I wanted! Check for the vertical seems in the picture (don't mind the cat). Bet you can't find 'em, but they're there. Trust me. They're just really well matched. My only regret is that I tried to save money by splicing new and old foam together. I think I should have just bought an all new cushion on the settee. Old foam and new foam are just never quite the same. But that was my fault, and it's something I can easily change in the future. Honestly, they did a marvelous job! We put in wood floors -- coinky-dinky the style/type is called Cannon Beach. We bought a set of beachy-looking white-distressed bedroom furniture from Oly Furniture, and then went on to have the antique wing-back chair redone. We also had them do some matching bed pillows of a different fabric. It all goes together perfectly. By the way, they have a ginormous selection of fabrics. It's nice to know that you can get this quality of work in Olympia. Now the last thing is to get Olympic Blinds to put in new blinds and then we're done.

He…read morespecializes in classic Volkswagens mostly, with his shop filled with bugs, buses, and Karmann Ghias. Some of the vehicles I saw in his shop looked like they could win car shows. There was also a '68 Corvette in the shop getting a full paint job. My car had a cracked front bumper, and the paint was coming off the plastic trunk handle. The bumper needed to be replaced, and MC (the owner) quickly found a brand-new genuine Toyota bumper for a lower cost than what the dealer quoted me. MC quickly gave me a quote, and stuck to it the entire time. The price is less than what I would have paid at one of the larger shops which get the volume of collision-insurance repairs. The trunk handle piece was a head-scratcher. It turns out that Toyota chromes the entire plastic piece, then paints over the chrome, leaving a strip of visible chrome around the edge. MC worked hard to save the chrome and just fix the painted part. Most other shops would've simply thrown the piece away and charged for replacement. MC had the job finished in only two days, and I was blown away by how good my car looked. I can't tell that there was ever any damage, and the genuine parts fit perfectly. His work is top-notch. He kept me updated during the entire process, and was very open and honest. I have dealt with plenty of shops, some worse than others, and I am glad to say, I did not feel one bit apprehensive about trusting Gamble's Finishing with fixing my baby. They even washed the car, and vacuumed and dusted the entire interior. I would highly recommend this business to anyone.
