    Love the coffee

Wait : none with walk in or rsvp Service : nice and efficient Food : I love their coffee ( coffee with milk) and croissant. Steaks is also available but not a lot of people are ordering and it's not a place to try best steak. Otherwise, their salad is great and some pasta. Price : reasonable Tips: they have menu with English language. You don't have to tip in Argentina but if you do, they prefer cash. They accept most credit card (I use visa), dollars or peso. It's pretty crowded place and not romantic

Nice cafe with beautiful decor - probably the best and most elaborately decorated along this stretch of Ave Mayo. Very casual despite the fancy appearance - you seat yourself and there are no separate sections for those just having coffee or those having a meal - all mixed up together - except they'll give you a white table covering if having a meal. We had beef tenderloin with fries and salad with salmon - both are ok although the fries are indeed not very crispy (the upside is they are also not too greasy), and the green salad has quite a few leaves with brown edges so not very fresh. Portions are good and prices reasonable (2800-3300 pesos). This place also has an enormous cake counter with probably the most expansive cake selection I've seen as well as other takeout foods such as salads, sandwiches and quiches. Outdoor seating available also but then you'll miss the much more atmospheric interior. English menu available (but without prices so you have to read it together with the Spanish version).

    Chicken Sandwich

To be honest, we only came across London city because we were walking by and they were one of a few places open during the national holiday Cultural Integration day. Overall, I was pleasantly with my meal. I ordered a coffee and the Chicken Sandwich. The chicken sandwich was an actually large piece of tender chicken. There was also Caesar dressing that added an interesting delightful taste. If you are looking for other items, they also have an assorted variety of pastries, and great coffee. The service wasn't great, which I minus a star for. If I visit Buenos Aires again, I would drop by again.

Seriously the best pastry I've ever had. Coffee is delicious as well. They have WiFi along with nice bathrooms downstairs. Snap a pic of the chic on-brand napkins and mugs while you enjoy your warm croissant soaked in honey and butter.

Passed this place while walking late in the evening. So beautiful at night. In an ancient building as so many are. Very London for sure. Came back for brunch. Quick service. Servers in bowtie. Just had the "light" breakfast, includes cafe con leche basket of mini toast, butter, jam & oj Afterwards I took a number & picked up a variety of pastries & freshly made cured meats sandwich for later. Recommend. Especially if you don't care to dine where the younger louder folks are found. Mostly older crowd & business people. Upscale. But very casual dining. & yes service is a tad slow but this is the kind of place you stop by & enjoy the coffee the people watching & you're not in any rush. Loved the the age of the place. Chandeliers & wood work. Stop by! Enjoy!

Amazing food, although the service can be a bit slow. Both times that I've come here I ordered the Buenos Aires steak ("Bife de Chorizo Buenos Aires"), and both times it was amazingly good. There are a small handful of places where the meat itself is a little bit more perfect, but London City presents it well with all the works: Egg, bacon, papas fritas, vegetables... everything that was originally created for the purpose of being consumed in the company of cow flesh, and excellently prepared. As a caution, in my experience this is not a place to come if your in a hurry. I know that statement is a bit laughable since no restaurant in Buenos Aires has any sense of rush, but this place actually surprised me: On my first visit it took me exceptionally long to get my check, and the second time I waited quite a while to be attended after I was seated. This probably wouldn't be such a problem if I didn't come alone, so I'm not letting it detract much from my impression of the restaurant. London City is one of many restaurants that also calls itself a "historic" local. Not having done background research on this myself, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and present my impression of the place's personality: Fancy but a bit generic, classy but not really cool, old-school but without the historically rich characteristics of some other downtown restaurants. Altogether, a solid four stars for being another great Buenos Aires restaurant with fantastic food and a nice atmosphere.

Very nice little restaurant and bakery! Friendly staff, informative menus and counter information, and of course an amazing selection of baked goods for a very low price. I definitely had some of the best dulce de leche pastries I've ever tasted here. If you are touring the downtown area this is a great place to stop off at; highly recommend it!

London City Confiteria Restaurante and Bar is a nice place to stop in Buenos Aires if you need a mid-afternoon break and a delicious pick-me-up. The European-style and traditional Argentinean pastries are beautiful. The restaurant is clean and quiet. The staff is efficient and friendly. A great spot to recharge and get away from the hustle and bustle of the streets outside. Located on the corner of Peru and Avenida de Mayo, you can eat inside, outside, or they have take-away.

We went with my daughters and asked for a snack option. Very good presentation They let you choose between different cake options. Reasonable prices. Strategic location if you pass through the Center of Buenos Aires. Now they have another branch on the Plaza de Mayo. The only weak point is that there are many waiters but nobody is looking at the diners. We will be back.

Nice old school Buenos Aires cafe

The food is average. The service is terrible and slow. They overcharged me which I think was on purpose. Avoid.
