I visit London every year, and since 2008 I have been using London Connection to book apartments. This last trip we (I and my 13 year old niece and 19 year old nephew) stayed in the 2-09 Upper St. Martin's Lane, Covent Garden apartment (https://londonconnection.com/property/2-09-upper-st-martins-lane/) - and we L-O-V-E-D it! The flat was as described, and looked just like the photos. (see the photos I added) The master bedroom is en suite (tub/shower), with a very large bathroom with a heated floor, nice towels and lots of space for your toiletries. The queen bed is comfortable, with nice linens and there was plenty of space for my personal belongings; large chest of drawers and a closet that was big enough to fit my suitcase (26 inch). The bedroom has two large windows that let in a lot of light - there were also enough outlets for charging devices (camera, phone). The second bedroom (located to the back of the apartment) was also spacious with two twin beds, and two built in closets - again both had enough space to store clothes & luggage. The second bedroom also has a door that leads to a small terrace/balcony at the back of the apartment - which we did not use. The second bathroom has a nice size shower stall; the kids had no problems with it. This bathroom also has a door that leads to the washer/dryer - which we did use - and it worked like a charm! We had no issues with hot water running out. A really nice touch is that the London Connection provides two blow dryers, and power adaptors - in case you forget yours. The open plan reception and kitchen area was great too; it was a nice place to relax in after a long day of sightseeing! The area has two large windows - one in the kitchen and one in the reception. Both windows look down on Upper St. Martin's Lane, really nice for people watching. We did not notice any noise when we had the windows closed, but we like the noise... The kitchen was very nice, a large refrigerator, microwave, oven and cook top electric kettle, all glasses/dishes and cutlery. Also, in the cupboards were some spices and other items left by the previous renters - we used all - and all worked well. To tell the truth, we did not want to leave this apartment! The apartment was very safe and secure, key to get into the building and a key to get into the apartment - as well as a video phone to see who rings the bell and a buzzer to let them in. One of the best parts of the apartment is that the elevator stops literally at your door - the kids thought that was the coolest (I did too)! The location is great too; close by (4 min walk) is the Leicester Square tube station (Piccadilly Line). There are 2 grocery stores nearby as well - Tesco Metro and Marks & Spencer which is opposite the Covent Garden tube station. There are also loads of restaurants close by. In addition, most of the theatres are a short walk - the St. Martin's & Ambassador theatres are literally around the corner! It's about a 10 minute walk to Piccadilly Circus or to Trafalgar Square, National Gallery or Charing Cross Train/Tube Station (Bakerloo/Northern lines). It was also never hard to flag a cab near the apartment or catch a bus on Charing Cross Road or down on the Strand. As I stated at the beginning of this long review, I have been renting apartments from London Connection since 2008, and I have been very happy with their service. Both the US and London staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt! The let-in staff will walk you through using all of the appliances, and there is a list of London contact numbers to reach staff if needed - I've used it once and the call was answered issue resolved. In May 2015, my family (my husband, my son & his spouse and in-laws) took a trip to the UK. My son travels to London for work so we tagged along. We started our journey with a lovely road trip through England and Scotland with a few overnights along the way. We ended our trip in London and booked our accommodations through London Connection. We booked their "3-33 Coventry Street" flat. The location of this flat cannot be beat. You literally step out of your front door and you're practically in Piccadilly Circus. The views from the living room and one of the bedroom windows were stunning. We definitely recommend, especially for a first-time visitor. The sights and sounds of London bustling right below is magical. The weather was fantastic, so we enjoyed opening up the windows while we were in the flat. With the windows closed, however, there was very little noise, if any at all that came from outside. We also enjoyed the occasional double-decker tour bus that would pass in front of the flat (it is located in Piccadilly Circus, after all). We had fun waving to the tourists on the top deck of the bus as they passed by on the street. Just below the flat is a nice souvenir shop and a variety of things to see and do are at your doorstep. Our group consisted of 3 adult couples, so the three bedroom flat was perfect for us. The kitchen was well-equipped and the service was impeccable. On our first morning, we discovered the coffee pot wasn't working correctly. We made a call to our property manager and she had a replacement coffee pot sent straight to us. There is a Tesco a block from the apartment, which was very convenient. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast in the flat each morning, which is a huge time and money saver. I also prepared a nice Sunday roast for the family in the flat. The kitchen was perfect for it. We typically look for units with a lift as I have bad (arthritic) knees, though this can be difficult to find, especially with our group size. However, I was able to manage the single flight of stairs from the ground floor entryway to the flat with very little problems. Certainly, the location and amenities of the flat itself far outweighed the lack of lift. The beds were comfortable and the rooms offered ample storage and space. With six adults, the two bathrooms were a definite plus. Our host was very friendly, prompt and informative. Our rep at London Connection is very friendly, attentive and responds quickly. In fact, we're in the process of finalizing our accommodations with London Connection for 2016 already. read more

My husband and I traveled to London for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I have been in the travel business and hospitality business through my careers for more than 25 years. I knew from looking at the posts on Facebook that if we ever had a chance to go to London it would be London Connection we would be booking with! First of all, although I was in the travel business, I really had no idea where we should stay. Thomas was so helpful in determining the area that would best suit us for our first stay. He was SPOT ON! We stayed in Covent Garden directly across from the Palace Theater. What a view we had from there! The accomodation was immaculate, all amenities and plus some were provided. This is not a "timeshare" these are units owned by London Connection and continuously maintained, rehabbed and loved by the owners and their staff. We elected for the transfers provided by London Connection. Our pick up in LHR was seamless. The ride was exciting in itself and as we pulled up to the flat, we were greeted by the staff from London Connection and given a thorough walkthrough of the flat and how it operates. Who to call in case of an emergency, tips on places to go etc. You didn't feel alone, but never ever were they evasive. We had the trip of a lifetime, we absolutely loved our flat. Nothing like feeling you live in London instead of visiting. Being able to brew a cup of tea, shop at Tesco and cook meals when we felt like it was such a plus. The bed was very comfortable and well dressed. Storage was wonderful and the living area gave us a place to sprawl out our purchases for the day. We were lucky enough to have some of the ladies that work for London Connection out of Utah help us with a small issue at a very early hour and came through with flying colors they did. I am in LOVE with London! So much so.....that we are going back this December and bringing our adult daughter with us to experience it. We will be staying right on the edge of Covent near Picadilly in a house of sorts now with enough room for all to spread out and enjoy. The furnishing, decoration and care and thought put into each flat is obvious. This is not an Air BNB or a timeshare. These are flats owned by people that love London and want you to experience London and love it as much as they do! Do NOT hesitate to seriously consider The London Connection. My wife and I visited London last year and booked a flat through LC, Parliament View. While not in the best condition, the views were awesome, and it was suitable for our needs. Based on that experience, we booked 2-30 Craig's Court this year for travel with friends. The location was fantastic and Alex was very nice while showing us the property. The property was a bit of a disappointment. While the flat was clean, the furniture and towels were shabby. There were no washcloths in the bathrooms, and the whole place just looked tired. Not at all what was in the pictures.The common space in the building was dirty and the Patio area was actually just a smoking pit for the entire building, right outside the master bedroom window, which kept us awake all night as people hung out smoking and talking. There was also massive construction going on just outside of the living room window. Between the patio noise, the construction, and the delivery trucks that showed up each morning at 7am sharp, it was very difficult to sleep. Finally, the flat had the smallest water heater ever. Only one person had hot water for a shower, and then everyone had to wait an hour for the water to get warm again so the next person could shower. That made it hard to get out and moving each morning. There was a notebook left in the flat for visitors to leave comments. Universally the noise was a problem, but if you read the London Connection reviews you will not find any mention of this. It was apparent, after talking with Ricardo that the noise had been an issue in the past. We ended up leaving after one day and going to a hotel down the street. Tom, the owner, has failed to respond to numerous requests for a refund of our unused nights. read more

While visiting Europe last fall, we decided at the last minute to make a bee-line for London, our most favorite city in the world. London Connection to the rescue! Despite only two days notice, and with our visit bumping right into the Thanksgiving holiday, Thomas and staff were able to find us one of their few remaining available flats and it worked out perfectly for us. We have used London Connection's service for 10 years now and this was our 7th time staying in one of their flats. We were delighted with our stay at this property in the South Kensington area. (Although very familiar with this part of London, we have never stayed in this area before.) The location was ideal for us. The South Kensington tube station is a 5 minute walk directly up the street from the flat, and it serves the Piccadilly blue line which made our daily trips to Leicester Square and Covent Garden an absolute breeze. Fun to explore Kensington Gardens, walk around the beautiful neighborhoods of Chelsea, and of course, visit Harrods! While this flat is the smallest of the flats we have rented previously, the rental price reflects this and what a bargain! The flat was laid out in an extremely functional manner--no space wasted. We had plenty of closet space to unpack all our clothes for the 10 days we were there, we used the washer/dryer combo a few times, we brought in our own groceries (Sainsbury's is just two blocks away on same street). It was COLD while we were there and the heating system worked great and the WI-FI was perfect. Ricardo and Christine were a pleasure to work with, as always! We have stayed with London Connection many, many times and various locations in and around London. We have never been disappointed! You can have their driver David meet you at the airport ( highly recommended if there are more than two in your party) and he will take you to the property where you will be met by either Ricardo or Christina. They will show you everything there is to know about the property from how to work the stove, microwave, washer/dryer, etc. to which key opens the outer building door and which opens the flat door. They'll direct you to the nearest super market and closest tube stop as well as give you a quick run down of the closest attractions. If you have any problems, from accidentally changing the tv channel from the correct cable channel to accidentally turning off the switch for the hot water (we've done both) they will promptly and cheerfully come set it right. (Sorry, Ricardo and and Christina who rescued us both times!) When leaving, I highly recommend scheduling their driver, David, take you back to the airport. We've twice had problems where the Heathrow Express was not running and had to either scramble and pray for a taxi or ride the Piccadilly Line on the hour + journey when we'd only allowed for the 15 minute Heathrow Express. David has always gotten us there in plenty of time. I can't recommend this company more highly. They are, bar none, the best. read more

My family of four (two kids, 13 and 11, and husband) stayed in London at a house on Lower John Street. We had an amazing vacation! The location was terrific -- two blocks from Picadilly Circus, near many restaurants and Whole Foods. We are an active family and walked to Trafalgar square (National Portrait Museum), Big Ben, Westminster Abby, Buckingham Palace, and the Churchill War Rooms. The house was very nice -- two bedrooms and three bathrooms, with an amazing bathtub. We were picked up promptly at the airport and dropped off, which made it easy. The home was clean, the beds comfortable, and we were greeted when we arrived. This house has narrow stairs and the kitchen, living room (small), and each bedroom is on a separate floor, so I would recommend it for active people (not for anyone who can't do stairs)very . Worked great for us. We appreciated being able to do some cooking. There is some street noise of people walking by (only a few cars), but we turned on the fans in the bedroom to muffle the noise. We had a great visit and thought the price was good, and we enjoyed more of a "London" experience, we thought, by staying here rather than a hotel. Loved that the kids had their own room and beds. read more

I booked the 3-32 Redfield Lane | Kensington House at Earl's Court for 2017 Christmas holiday with my family. Everything was perfect! Booking was easy, and the staff at London Connection took care of details to help make our stay as easy as possible. The flat was in the perfect location and provided a variety of good dining spots, great cafes and an easy walk to grocery stores. Because it was very close to Earl's Court tube stop it was easy to explore London. Some experiences that made the trip especially memorable were taking advantage of the bike share to ride around Hyde Park on Christmas day, cooking a prime rib in the flat for Christmas dinner (I wasn't sure how well stocked the kitchen would be but we didn't need a thing aside from ingredients) and watching the local foxes make their way around the neighborhood on trash pickup day! Everyone at London Connection was very professional and customer service oriented. My only suggestion would be to provide a few extra rolls of toilet paper. (We had to scramble on Christmas day to find some.) read more

This is our first time booking through London Connection. They gave us prompt replies to our inquiries including personal phone calls as well as emails with loads of information to help us select the location and property that was right for us. This is our first time traveling to the UK and it has taken us hours upon hours researching rental agents and their properties. We chose London Connection to be our agent not only because their prompt service is way above what other rental agents provided but also because of the personal recommendations and helpful advice they offered us. We had such a great time in London! Loved Redfield Mews as it was central to everything and it was like a second home. Perfect for travelling with our teenage sons as it gave everybody their own space. My sister was with us for a short time but she also truly enjoyed it. I really am glad we paid for the extra night so we could get into the house early the next day. Both drivers to and from Redfield Mews were very professional and friendly as well and so much easier to have somebody meet you at the airport. Cristina was great as we really did need to be oriented to the flat. She answered my questions promptly by email and again she was very friendly and welcoming. We would recommend the London Pass and the oyster card as well. It did save us considerable money and was well worth it. It was a great family vacation and I am so thankful I booked this trip with London Connection. There is still so much to see and do so we will return. Spectacular city! read more

We had a great experience with London Connection through VRBO. We rented a 3-bedroom flat in Piccadilly Circus. The location was fantastic and we could walk to Buckingham Palace, Parliament, Big Ben, and other attractions. We could also walk to restaurants and the underground in a matter of minutes.We arranged an airport transfer from the company which was wonderful after a long trip from San Francisco. Christina met us at the flat to help us get situated. She was very responsive whenever we had any questions. Thank you Christina. The apartment was nice and spacious for our group of 5. We really liked having two full size bathrooms with showers. The front bedroom was a little loud the first night due to the next day being a bank holiday. The rest of the time we never noticed any noise. We would definitely recommend London Connections and would use them for our next trip to London. Thanks for a wonderful and memorable trip. read more

We have had three wonderful experiences with London Connection and look forward to many more. The photos and descriptions of the properties invariably are accurate and complete, and the apartments have been clean and well appointed. Cristina and Ricardo always provide a cheerful and heartfelt welcome and readily respond should any matter require attention. Our most recent stay was at 2-218 Shelton Street in Covent Garden. The apartment appears to have been recently renovated with modern appliances and hard-wood floors throughout. The two bedrooms are large by London standards and very quiet despite being in the heart of the West End theater district. One afternoon we returned to the flat and found the elevator out of order. I left a voicemail for Cristina, and the lift was back in operation with two hours. We have recommended L.C. to family and friends planning trips to the UK. read more

3-33 Haymarket Flat What a phenomenal flat with a brilliant location! We have been traveling to London for decades, and ditched the chain hotels long ago. 3-33 Haymarket has been by far the best flat we have stayed in and we will be going back next year. London Connection provided an unbelievably easy experience from start to finish. Their online site provides brilliant pictures of all flats, an easy to search map, and a second to none reservation booking process. Upon landing in London we had immediate and truly exceptional communication with Ricardo, our personal host who met us at the flat to check in. The flat was clean, spacious, well lit and located in a true gem of a location. My mum and I stayed in the Leicester Square apartment and It was perfect for our 5 night stay in London. The location amazing, close enough to most attractions to get there by foot and just a couple of minutes walk to the underground for those a little further away. We had tickets to see The Mousetrap and the theatre turned out to be literally seconds down the street! The apartment itself was just as the pictures showed and it suited our needs well. The bed converts into 2 singles and they were very comfortable, so we didn't need the sofa bed. The area of Cambridge Circus is busy and noisy but we found we adjusted to it after the first night and by using the fan to provide white noise. I would love to stay here again, the location is amazing, the view down to Cambridge Circus is fantastic and the apartment itself is perfect for 2. read more

London Connection is a five star experience in terms of the personal and reliable service and the quality of their apartments. I, and my family, have stayed in London with London Connection multiple times over the past 7 years and have always had an excellent experience. Last time (in March), we stayed in a Mayfair two-bedroom apartment just behind the Millennium Hotel, a truly cool pad on three levels that impressed our young adult kids (although "cool pad" isn't in their vocabulary). Here we got maximum convenience, just a short walk from Oxford street for shopping (including food) an equally short walk to Hyde park, close to Green Park metro, in a spacious, well decorated and comfortable place. The let-in service is seamless, and a professional manager is always available during your stay. Highly recommended. read more

We stayed at the Clarges Street flat over Christmas, great location in Mayfair, near Shepherds market allowing many opportunities for restaurants and pubs. Which late at night when the pubs close presents noise problems. We had requested a fan, which helped drown out outside noise. This particular flat is one bedroom and one and one half baths, very nice having extra bathroom space! The kitchen is modern and well equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and glassware! The elevator goes straight to your floor which helps those of us with mobility issues. We would also like to comment on having a washer and dryer and the let in person made sure we understood how to use it! all in all, we would book this apartment again, although I do agree about threadbare rugs in the bathroom! These guys are good! This is not your usual VRBO experience. London Connection own a number of high quality apartments of varying sizes in the most desirable parts of town. They are in good buildings, up to date, nicely decorated and well maintained. This is not a sideline business for the owners, it is what they do. Management is very professional and dedicated to ensuring that your experience with them is enjoyable. Someone from the company will communicate with you when you land and meet you at the apartment. They will always be on hand should you need them during your stay. I rented an apartment in Covent Garden last year in the weeks preceding Christmas and I plan to make it a regular holiday occurrence. This was our third time staying at a London Connection property, and it's been great on all three occasions. This year we stayed in a one-bedroom flat in Reeves Mews, a charming apartment with modern conveniences. The street itself was quiet and we slept well in a comfortable Queen-size bed: it had a firm mattress with a soft topping, perfect for me. (The other LC flats we stayed in had memory foam mattresses, which were excellent also.) The location was good: it was an easy walk to the tube stops and even shorter to the busses on Park Lane. Now that we have bus apps, it's easy to know what busses to take, and we liked seeing the city from the top of a double-decker. The UK manager, Christina, was always available to answer questions and resolve issues when needed. read more

April-May 2015, wife and I stayed on John Adams street a month and everything went perfectly. Ricardo was very friendly and helpful, flat was clean and quiet and had all the appliances and linens we needed. There is a lift. The flat's central London location was outstanding for walking and buses to all the great sites. We walked to Westminster Abbey for Sunday church service - quite unbelievable; I got my morning breakfast pastry from the Savoy hotel only 3 blocks away. Also, grocery stores and tube stops very close. Lots of area restaurants and pubs close by. I enjoyed standing on the Thames river bridge just down the street watching all the boats. We certainly got great value for the cost of the flat. We are going again in 2016 with London Connection. read more
