I shop at London Drugs pretty frequently and typically have great service. I'm not sure if it was a…read morebad day for the customer service lady at the front, I won't name any names in case it was a one off. My car battery died and my portable booster also died, I didn't have any booster cables so after shopping I went back inside to ask if I can plug the portable booster in behind the counter so I can go wait with my kids in the car & see if I could find someone to boost me. The lady said straight up, "no". I asked her why not and she responded by saying "because I don't want to". I said "okay, I'd like to speak to your manager". She called her manager over and as we were waiting I was looking in front of me, and the lady gets defensive thinking I am staring at her name tag (which I was not), she rudely says "you don't need to stare at my name tag" as she flips it around. I responded with a laugh and said "I wasn't staring at your name tag, but great customer service", obviously sarcastically. Management arrived and this lady impatiently says "she wants to plug this in back here". Management looks at the plug and says, "okay, can we use this plug ?" And the lady says "I don't want to touch it." Then management suggests that I can plug it in inside of the entrance doors. I request again to put it behind the desk so I can go outside with my kids and she states that they don't want to touch it and I am not allowed behind the counter to plug it in myself. I appreciate her suggesting another outlet and I go to plug it in & wait inside the store at the entrance. As I am waiting the lady at customer service complains to management that I was staring at her name tag while we were waiting for her. I pop my head over and I tell them both that I was not staring at her name tag and she responds saying "omg" and rolls her eyes. I did after the fact look at her name tag, only because of her rudeness when I was just looking for some help. If you are reading this, try to be compassionate and kind because you never know what other people are going through. Most people aren't out to get you, I was just looking for some help so I wasn't left stranded. Plus, that's part of your job in customer service.

I talked with one of the employees, they are all so chipper and happy. They even knew my name. Went down to browse the aisles. They are organized. They were sold out of crest. So I got Colgate. They treat EVERY single customer suspicious of a crime and thinks all customers who carry a full reusable blue bag from Superstore intends to steal their cheap makeup and merchandise and have their incompetent insecurity team follow regular customers, as manager's lame excuse of its location being in a "vulnerable area". They thought I was gonna steal a cat-shaped kajal black gel eyeliner and their fresh-of-the-boat shop and INsecurity staff who speak little to no english at all from an impoverished third world country known for doctors and engineers and designated shitting streets, low trust society , just because I was hyperfocused on one product due to my neurodivergence and carrying a superstore used blue reausable bag. I asked the paki-beauty advisor who have seen me and remember me if I was being profiled as a criminal because their insecurity guard keep following me. He communicated it was a "misunderstanding" and they two communicated in a foreign language which did not help the situation and the insecurity guard didn't stop following me which made me feel like I am being targetted for just shopping and window shopping. I paid my eyeliner sharpener and eyeliner costing less than 6 cad$ total. I told the customer service person about the unacceptable treatment and profiling and he apologized. I told this employee that I do not get treated poorly at more expensive and luxury stores like Chanel and they do not even sell precious luxury items to justify their poor treatment. 2 days after, I called that branch to complain and follow up but their employees acted as if my legitimate customer complaint was inconveniencing their work and hanged up on me whle I was calmly speaking and told me that my business is not welcome there because they were butthurt that somebody has called out their uncivilised and inappropriate customer treatment. I do not recommend visiting this branch because of the criminal activity happening and the gangster manner of its poorly trained, maladjusted and incompetent, inefficient in time management employee. If you cannot handle complaints by customers, the lifeline of your business and why you have this job in the first place, please self-deport to where you once came and never get employment in customer service where professionalism and competence are very important. Do not tell customers they are bothering your work because your failure to plan and execute your job duties are horrible and you cannot handle high level customers who are not there to be criminals. Do you understand? Shout out to that Russian-accent women on the phone who toned policed me and complained to me about her bad time management. Please go back to serving Mother Russia. Basically, just like every other BB&B, it's bright, stocked to the gills and filled with virtually everything conceivable that is homewares, linen, kitchen gadgets and so much more. I really can't comment too much on it, since it's the same at every one no matter where you go across North America (though I'm still looking for Christopher Walken to give me a magic remote control just like in the movie Click). I like going here from time to time, mostly to see what other type of gadget and tool is there to be had for my use, whether it be making industrial amounts of french fries to being able to make foie gras, halibut and bacon ice cream with their nuclear powered ice cream maker and automated car engine tuner. As for what's in the Beyooooonnndddd (echo echo echo), well, toys, discounted movies, candy and so on. While not exactly a great selection, the toys they do have are actually pretty tasteful and not the usual schlock stuff but something more high end (presently all kinds of Discovery Channel Kids science stuff, and I remember them selling kid versions of Night Vision goggles once or twice). Oh, and I do love the free demos of the coffee machines. While I own a Keurig myself, I find it so neat that I get ot have a ton of samples from the Nespresso and other machines, though they do get a little cross if you do try more than one...or six (sheepish look).
