I didn't stay in a room here, but I did attend a weekend event here. The conference room was nicely sized. Staff left out water for us throughout the weekend which was nice and cold and kept everyone hydrated. Bathrooms were always clean and never shy of any toilet paper which was nice as the event was fairly large and people were in and out of the bathroom all day. I did use the elevator to get something from my friend's room as she was staying at the hotel. The elevator won't work without a keycard. That's important as it's a safety precaution. The hotel is also centrally located and near the bus stop. Not a bad choice ! read more

My flight arrived early at Heathrow airport and I couldn't check into my Airbnb at that time so I booked a day pass at the London Heathrow Marriott. Great idea! I had access to a room and the amenities from 10am-6:00pm. The room was lovely. The first thing I did was shower and took a nap. I was so tired from a 12 hour flight. The bed was very comfortable. Then I went down to the restaurant on the premises and I ordered dinner: fish and chips lol. Food was good and so was the drink. I went back to the room and gathered my belongings and called my taxi to take me to my London Airbnb. If you have never used a day pass, please do especially after long flights or layovers. It's a game changer. The Marriott usually has day passes and their hotels are top notch. read more

Dined at Carluccio's and the food was great and service was good; however we had one small incident occur but the supervisor and concierge went above and beyond to hearing our situation and doing their best to accommodate. Only stayed one night, it seemed like a nice, clean hotel. Staff were courteous and polite and the rooms were clean. Beds were just a bit hard for my liking but that was about it for negatives. We used the city buses from Heathrow Central to get to the hotel and it was pretty easy. read more

No hotel shuttle service so you're on your own - Uber was $65, Hotel Hopper was a nightmare if you have a lot of luggage. What airport hotel has no shuttle to the airport?!? This one! This alone disqualifies it from ever being used by us again, but add on the awful - and expensive - food at the Italian restaurant and we're never setting foot in this hotel again. Just to pile on we got a 1pm late checkout through being a Bonvoy member (yay) ... but your room key still stops working at midday regardless so good luck getting the elevator up to your room to get your luggage (and the key won't work in your room anyway). Positives? Showers were modern and powerful and the beds were comfortable. And that's it. My advice is ensure your hotel has their own shuttle before booking - trying to organize your own transportation at Heathrow is an exercise in expensive frustration. read more

Stayed here while in London on business. 10 minute drive from the airport so very close. Like most airport hotels it's a little tired but generally good. Biggest pet peeve is the tiny shower which is pretty typical in Europe but this was like 2 feet wide and had the shampoo bottles mounted on the wall so couldn't even turn around. Small bar and restaurant which is nice, food just ok. Executive club was excellent. read more

The lounge always was fully stocked with snacks, there were a lot of resources to continue to work, and play. The staff were excellent and I loved the Halloween decorations. Great hotel, reasonably priced and right by airport. You can sit on the rooftop and watch the huge double deckers take off, but amazingly it's not too loud. Try the chicken wings, they are amazing, and of course can't come to London without fish and chips! Try the gin menu or grab a pint of craft beer. They have numerous flavors of gin such as rhubarb, blackberry, and ginger. Try with lemonade and tonic for a nice refreshing summer drink. I just arrived today for an 8 night stay. The photographer who took the pictures of this hotel could make Prince Charles look like a supermodel. Seriously, the corridors and the rooms are nothing like the images on the website. This is an old, rundown hotel with some big upgrades in the lobby. Be sure to see a room first before you check in and pay! The hotel is not served well by public transportation, and is not walking distance to a tube station. The buses are rare, and the taxi fee to London Central is expensive. Do not believe the directions on the Marriott website, as the bus driver told me they were at least seven years old. So it took me one hour to get to the hotel from the airport. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk, they could not seem to care less. My guess is they've heard it all before, and never asked management or IT to take that page down. Check-in is at 3 PM, and I had to pay 50 pounds to check in at 1 PM even though my room was already "prepared". The room is old and dank, and the toilet had pubic hair on it. I had to ask for coffee and milk. The mini fridge doesn't work. The gym is small, and the hot tub is out of order. But on the plus side, the breakfast is absolutely fantastic. There's lots of healthy, vegetarian, and vegan options. Everything is fresh and homemade. Just know that although you can pay for a daily buffet breakfast when you reserve your room, it depends on occupancy so you might end up with a menu situation with fewer options. And the staff is exceptionally helpful and kind. The heat wasn't working in my room, so they brought radiator and blanket, for example. read more

Good hotel in proximity of London Heathrow! Clean rooms, good rates, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Even The Book of Mormon was there in the room. All good. Shower was a bit small but modern, and water does not get hot (warm is not hot)! The only seriously negative I observed is that there is no complementary shuttle from the terminal to the hotel. That is an important part of staying at the airport! Bus ride is 6 pounds. If you have party of 3 that is 18 pounds (roughly $24) and is only a mile or so away!!! I asked for a cab ride in the morning and was given a voucher but had to pay the driver 18 pounds anyway. So what's the voucher for (guessing hotel gets the kickback from the driver later on)? All in all, not a bad deal but if I already have to pay for transport might as well stay in the city! read more

First I received a message from the company that my room was ready to check in. I walk up to the desk and am told that early check in is £50.00. Nowhere in the message that I received from the company mentioned there would be a charge. I have stayed at plenty of Marriotts and have never received this charge when they have sent an early room available now message. Then I am told by the front desk that I could go have breakfast since it was still open. When I walked to the cafe I was then denied. I asked if I could just get a cafe, and was pointed to the pay cafe. I decline that and head to my room. The coffee machine in the room was also broken. I was told that there would be an engineer come look at it. I had to ask multiple times and no response. I asked since I had not unpacked if I could change rooms so I could have one that worked, also denied. This has been the most unfriendly Marriot I have ever stayed in. I am very disappointed with the way this Marriot hotel handled my case. I had a delayed flight on July 10 and I immediately made through Booking.com reservation to stay overnight at this hotel before my flight is resumed the next day, but somehow the apps was having technical issues and ended up booking me up for Oct 10. After I explained to Booking.com and the hotel the staff working front desk and the manager were very sympathetic to my situation and asked me to request Booking.com send them an email so they would approve waiving the cancellation fee. I did what they suggested and Booking.com understandably sent them emails and messages as they had asked, but the answer is No, they simply won't waive the cancellation fee. I could have been anywhere in the world as the Marriott sets a reliable standard at all their properties so you're not coming here for character and charm but rather functionality. The room was fresh, large and clean, the service was above and beyond and the lobby was state of the art. The restaurant was open very late as it should be at an airport hotel and the food was delicious. We were able to order transportation to the airport via a touch screen in the lobby with no issues. I recommend staying here for its proximity to the airport, car rentals, cleanliness, convenience and modern aesthetic. read more

We stayed on the executive level, and the executive lounge is very nice with unlimited access to drinks in the evening, and snacks. They also offered a full breakfast as well. I had a one night layover before my trip on to Zagreb Croatia. I use the Mobile check-in and it was wonderful as I arrived, The concierge desk had my room ready and my key making it a painless quick check in process. Of course I was thanked for being a platinum elite member. The gentleman at the desk was beyond courteous. Easy FREE bus from the British airways terminal five. Just take bus number 423 and get off right in front of the Marriott!! Room was wonderful. Clean and inviting. Very nice linens and great toiletries. I had dinner downstairs in the Tuscany Ristorante. Hostess Sylvia, from Italy, was absolutely the sweetest thing ever. (give this girl a big big raise!!). She made me feel like I was very special and we chatted and she gave me insight to the local area. Food was amazing, fresh, and beautifully displayed. Great atmosphere. The lounge and reception area of the hotel is beautiful and very quiet even with a lot of guests sitting around having drinks. Why would you not to use this hotel for either a quick stay or a lengthy stay when you're in the London Heathrow area. I recommend it! read more

This hotel was great. Located just a few stops on the bus from the airport. They have a restaurant in the lobby with outdoor seating and just a block away from McDonald's. And a short way from many other food options. They have a gym open 24hrs and a pool that open until 11 with a locker room to change. Our room came with 2 queen beds which is a luxury in London. Last hotel we stayed could only fit one bed and a small couch for the three of us. The breakfast option that we got with our stay was awesome. We also got to come later for snacks. They served cereal, eggs, oatmeal, porridge, sausage, orange and apple juice and much more. Plus they offered tarts and muffins with soda and beers during the snack time. read more

We stayed at this hotel for a week and had a great time in London. It really gave us the chance to commute throughout London. The hotel was 5 minutes away from LHR airport which is also where we caught the tube go head into the heart of London. All front desk staff were personable and helpful. They were extremely helpful a d polite when we checked in because our flight got us there atleast 6 hours before check in. In which they worked to get us a room as soon as it was available. Being our second visit to London the room was way bigger than the other European rooms we stayed in previously. Even the beds were American sized not European sized which is tight! Inside the hotel they offered two eatery's, one that was like a grab and go deli with seating by the lounging area in the lobby and the other was a full sized restaurant. The hotel also had a gym, steam room and pool with locker room on site. Pool wasn't huge but it was a decent size for the amount of people that used it daily. read more

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days. I arrived early on July 9th and requested the early check in, they charged me £30. When I checked out I reviewed the invoice that was for the four nights that I stayed (July 9 to 13). When reviewing my credit card, I could see an additional charge that was not in the invoice. When I called the Hotel to ask for this charge they let me know that was for a no show on July 8th. The lady on the phone let me know that I did change the reservation in my App and instead of July 9th I should be checking on July 8th, I let her know that I did not change the reservation because it was my company that did this reservation, she was not polite and said that she will send the invoices, and she did. Now I have both invoices. During my check out they never mentioned about the no show. To finish my complaint, I have been staying in Marriot Hotels in the last few months (Batam Island in Indonesia, Doha in Qatar and this Hotel in London). I have the Silver level and close to be upgraded, but when I tried to find an answer for this issue, no one is available, no matter what is my level, I cannot imagine if you are not a member. I sent my complaint three days ago in the Marriott site and no one reply. May be using this website someone will be giving me an explanation of a reservation change that I did not do. The hotel itself is lovely, and the rooms were modern. There was quite a wait given all the airline employees swarming the lobby when I checked in, but I wouldn't expect much different from an airport hotel. The reason this is getting such a low rating is the post-stay service I received. I accidentally left a book (and a library book at that!) in the room. This was 100% my fault, and I was pretty mortified. I called the day after I had left, and they quickly located the book and gave me a missing item code. Great--they were responsive; I was pleased. - On December 20, I called and asked them to mail the book to me in the States. They advised me to email them with the item code and my address. They also said it would be a few weeks from when they shipped it to when I would receive it. No problem. Eli replied quickly with a credit card authorization form for me to fill out for the shipping charges. I provided it immediately. - On January 27, I emailed back (both directly to the person who had been emailing me and the general Marriott email address) to ask for an update and tracking number as I had not received the book. No response. - On February 21, I called the Heathrow Marriott to follow up. They tried to send me to housekeeping three times, but the connection didn't go through and I had to call back after getting disconnected. On the fourth try, I asked the woman at front desk if I could just talk to her. She took down my information, discussed my issue with me, and said she would call me back. - Today, February 26, after not receiving a call back, I contacted Marriott Bonvoy (their re-branded elite member program) to ask for assistance. They opened a case for me, contacted the hotel, spoke to the manager, and said the book is on its way. - Right after that call, a representative of the Marriott Heathrow called me to say they would be posting the book and the charge would be £5. I was a little surprised they were charging me after all this, and I was also surprised that I didn't really get an apology considering it's two months since they originally agreed to ship the book. - A few hours after the call, Vancy emailed me to let me know that the book has been shipped (and provided the tracking number). He also apologized for the inconvenience and waived the shipping charges, which I appreciated. read more

Restaurant was OK- it's Italian food was food but not really authentic Italian (powdered parm for on my pasta) service was OK. They weren't that busy when I went but servers looked panicked. The previous review almost summed the quality of the facility. I usually stay at the Sheraton down the street but they were overbooked and this was a last minute business meeting stop over in London. This Hotel has prime location residing next to London Heathrow to be specific the main runway adjacent to Terminal 5. They have a wonderful view from the restaurant on the 1st floor but the menu does not make me want to sit there to enjoy the ambiance. The actual feel of the hotel from halls to rooms is very quaint but when the bed rolls 2 ft down the room as it's on rollers its a very bad sign unless your in grade school and like rolling beds. Also the toilets are nicely snug against the wall and would be perfect if I was a toddler or if I was a ump lumpa in the Wizard of Oz. This place is a few changes from becoming a very quality 3 to 4 star but it obviously needs to be upgraded and redesigned in many ways. The only bright spot about this stay is that it's the only LHR hotel within walking distance of two very good British Pubs with Fish N' Chips. read more

Very professional staff, a few choices of food venues (I'm rue comes handy when you are stuck for several days at LHR), full gym with free weight and pool (plus life guard). Price is expensive for sure, it was in fact more expensive than the holiday inn in downtown London city. Decent hotel, pricey. I had to stay in a hotel after a forced extra night in London. I wanted it to be close to the airport, as my flight left at 6AM next day. Thus I went to this hotel. Getting there from the airport is simple, as buses are driving to all the hotels on Bath Street in intervals. Arriving at the hotel and checking it, the staff was really helpful. I was quickly checked in, got a voucher for one of the restaurants. As I was about to leave very early next morning, they setup a wake up call and arranged a limousine. When the lady informed me about the breakfast times, she immediately recognized that by this time I would be long gone, she picked up the phone and asked for a packed breakfast to be prepared for me next morning. I went to the Italian restaurant for some dinner. The food was very good there and I enjoyed the service. Went to bed early. Rooms are large and clean, with everything you need. Wifi is free in the lobby but needs to be paid for at the room. That's ridiculous, please change that. Prices of the room are high enough to have wireless internet included. Upon checking out next morning, I was helped swiftly and one of the staff members got me a fresh espresso from the Starbucks conveniently located in the lobby. The limousine was waiting for me, and off I was to the airport. All in all, a short stay, but everything was OK. I think the prices are really too high, but that's what you pay for the location. We were lucky to catch the last Europe bound planes out of Chennai India. But we could not take our second leg to Toronto as Canada closed its borders to on-canadians. Thus we had to spend a night at heathrow. At this point we were already working on a 30+ hour day. Tge hotel worked out really well. And they were very attentive to covid19 prevention measures. As a loyal Marriott member this is my first real disappointment. Firstly, many in my party were denied breakfast even following a discussion with the manager. He wouldn't budge so we refused to eat there. As a Gold member who has stayed in Marriotts about 30 times this year I felt he could just change our rate or comp the meal but he refused. Secondly, this hotel is noisy, crying babies and sick people coughing is how I tried to sleep for two nights. One person in my party had to have his room changed twice due to noice. First off, there was a wedding during our stay so there was loud booming music throughout the whole ENTIRE night. Second of all the executive lounge was on the first floor so it was quite awkward when people were coming in and out with the host of the lounge questioning if they even had the key to come in. Rooms are not big but if you stay for a day or two, or compare to other european hotels, this isn't bad at all. Breakfast is buffet including made-to-order omelet bar and waffle. Other typical hot items and good pastries. If you can get access to club lounge, make sure to stop by to grab a snack or drinks. It's very small and could use new furniture but most people don't stay there too long. Like others said, take hotel taxi if you are not alone. Better than shuttle. Spent one night in this particular Marriott, which is undergoing refurbishment to the bedrooms. My room was spacious, for a one night stay, with a good size bed, Marriott beds i have found to be the best (someone once told me that you can actually buy them!!) They are let down but the not so good pillows (fix this Marriott). The bathroom is fresh with new shower/baths and toilets, so the bedroom gets a big thumbs up from me. The meeting room we had was spacious and fit for purpose. They have a wireless projector system which when it worked was wonderful, however the next morning it was not having it no matter how many different ways the hotel staff tried to plug the dongle in and out. Sometimes plug ina good old fashioned HDMI lead and you will always be ok. Staff were all helpful, as you would expect from this brand read more

Original flights were canceled so we decided to switch marriott hotels and move closed to the airport for our early morning reschedule. Same day booking and they met our needs. Paid off to be a gold member to gain access to the executive lounge. We had free full appetizers, beer, wine, and dessert. Almost didn't need to eat. Headed over to the grill. Dress was anything.
