From the very beginning, communication was seamless. Anytime we had questions (or wedding-planning anxiety), Cody was quick to respond and always made us feel supported and reassured. I hate leaving negative reviews but I felt the need to update my initial review after receiving the…read morefull album following our wedding. I've seen other wedding photos on IG since and it just continues to bum me out and reinforces our initial feeling. I wish we had splurged and spent the extra cost on Emma but weddings get so expensive so we hired one of her associates instead and decided at the last minute to add a second shooter for an extra fee. We were not thrilled with how the shots came out, sadly. They felt more like the wedding was documented, rather than captured. We chose this photographer based on her past work, which I did not see reflected in our images. I don't see how the extra shooter was beneficial, as she mostly followed around the main shooter. I had created a Pinterest page for them to look through and I don't think they emulated a single photo, even after I filled out a questionnaire outling some specific shots I wanted. There are no close up photos or "glamour" shots of my dress or ring or little details like the "i do" painted on my ring finger. There are none of the groomsmen getting ready, which was part of why we got the second shooter. Overall, super bummed when we consider how much we spent. We are actually now discussing paying another photographer to at least re-shoot photos of just us, which isn't the same but at least it's something. I will still back the fact that Emma herself is a GREAT photographer, though.
