To say Dawn has patience is an understatement. Our little one refused to stay asleep and pooped on just about every prop! Never once did Dawn get upset or stop trying to capture the perfect shot! While we sat back feeling guilty and cleaning up his mess, she continued on re posing him and trying to get him to sleep. The images came out amazing! Even better than I could have imagined. I have brought my 3 daughters (now 5,3 and 1.5 months) to Dawn for their new born sessions and each time the images have came out so beautiful and amazing. For my first two daughters I was able to get them in when they were roughly 1-2 weeks old and for my third I took her in at a little over 1-month. Full session was suppose to be 2 hrs, although my newborn baby was not liking some nude pics Dawn took her time, she was very careful, such a professional, photo shoot took 4 hrs. The pictures turned out good, but not as nice of a selection as I would have liked. Wish I would have known that all the props selected wouldn't happen because of time constraints as I would have put them in order from most important to least important. A couple of the poses that I really wanted didn't happen because of fussy baby and uncooperative toddlers. Absolutely not her fault, but would have been nice to set up the order of the props differently if I would have known that half of the poses wouldn't happen due to lack of time. read more

I wasn't actually able to get set up with a photoshoot but I was trying to get an appointment and it seemed like I was able to book a day but never confirmed with a deposit. She told she was going to call me back a few times because she was so busy. I kept calling because I thought it was more convenient for her to pick up a phone rather than dialing my number. I got a very long nasty e-mail lecturing me that her husband is out of town and she alone with her kids and she didn't want to work with me. My wife and I used Tickled Turquoise Photography for our son's newborn session. After looking at the website, we contacted the owner/photographer (Dawn) and set up an appointment. During the session, Dawn was extremely patient and very good with our baby. He was a little fussy during the beginning, but she calmed him down and put him to sleep allowing for a great photo shoot. Didn't love my experience here. Pics came out ok out didn't get a good vibe from Dawn. My 8 day old baby was fussy during feeding time and she rushed us during nursing stating we had to hurry because we had limited time. She was texting throughout the session which was very unprofessional and just seemed to be annoyed in general. Maybe something going on with the text messages, not sure. I chose to come here because pricing was reasonable but next time I will pay the extra money and go to a professional studio. read more
