The place is extremely spacious, giving children lots of room to play; and the layout is unique and refreshing. When I came the teachers were warm and attentive and extremely friendly. I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. I do have to say that I am shocked by the negative review by Amanda O. On here. I was shown around and saw the playpens folded up and neatly tucked away; Mats for nap time were all organized in a closet, and toys were in toy boxes. I did not see any toys in cribs. I'd also like to point out that given how many children and toys there are, the place was impressively neat and organized. As for the baby room, I thought it was a great set up! It's its own separate room; confined and set up so the person in there can be attentive to all babies. The only reason we did not go with Ms Darlene's was merely because of distance. Even though we were unable to attend I highly recommend Ms Darlene's!

They send out a very honest explanation and at the time were not being offered any special help /programs from the government as other businesses were. They were faced with a very difficult decision and instead of shutting down their doors and leaving tons of parents scrambling, they stayed opened and very transparent of their decision to charge. I was not thrilled about paying either but to me it was worth it and they really didn't have any other options. As far as the other woman that posted a bad review. It sounds like you're not going to be a "good fit" anywhere. If your child requires alone time, that's going to involve another staff member to supervise this child so that he/she can be alone. Not to mention a free space to do this in. Sounds like you should consider an at home nanny service instead of expecting a daycare to conform to your very specific, high level needs. I looked at her profile and she's given 1-2 stars to 4 other area day cares. At some point, you've got stop and think, "maybe it's not them....maybe it's me" I find the need to point this out because I don't think it's fair to TLT or inquiring parents looking at the ratings to base your decisions off two reviews that really aren't relavent to how wonderful this place truly is. Bottom line, our kids loved it here. The staff is incredibly generous and truly cared for our children. Cons - The last year, this place has gone downhill. Owner/Meg appears to be overwhelmed, and the place is busting at the seams. Revolving door for teachers/Assistants. Accident reports are missing. When your child has to go to the emergency room or if they receive any first aid at daycare, this should be on record. A Major concern among most parents seems to be the lack of communication from Meg, and also a lack of professionalism when discussing another family's issues. More than once, we have been told private things regarding another family, or one of the teachers. The lack of confidentiality is concerning. Also, children are left in "time out" to work through big emotions. They are not learning coping skills, and they are lacking connection. Overall, I give this daycare center 2 stars. They fall short of being average because the cons far outweigh the pros if you want to feel comfortable leaving your child somewhere. However, I refrained from giving 1 star, based on the fact that this center has potential. Great families, amazing children, and good teachers who want to give more to the children, but seem held back. The center is clean and in a convenient location. If Meg is able to turn things around and be a better leader to both the teachers and the children, while showing the parents respect and privacy, they could be a really great center again.

Teachers seem inexperienced to actually teach anything worthwhile, pre-k and k are run like a daycare just with tables labeled "art", "snacks" and so forth. Their scapegoat is to say they emphasize "learning through play" so they don't have to put in the effort. $1000 month for HALF days but nothing to show for this insane amount of tuition besides other kids families bringing in goody bags or snacks. They make you fill out novels of paperwork beforehand but don't even read the documents they make you turn in! Your child has a food allergy? They ignore it and give your child that food. My kiddo comes home saying they had a stomachache and told the teacher they felt sick, but you get no report or phone call?! - just to find out with questioning your child that they're feeding your kiddo their allergen!! The next day they sent him home WITH his allergen food AFTER I called and asked why he was eating said allergen and the teacher called me saying " I didn't see that but I'm looking at it now" say what?!! To add insult to injury they make you give 30 days paid notice to unenroll and then you finally get communication FAST from their see you aunt tee director demanding payment, daily kind you.. demanding it daily. Please research and read other reviews that say exactly this about this disgraceful "school". I wish I had and saved 2k.

We've been taking our son to WCLC since he was only 3 months old (he's 3 now).  Initially there was…read moresome concern with communication from the center director at the time.  Within a few months that person had moved on and Ms. Haley had taken over as the director.  Since that time I could not be more impressed with the care that our son has received.  Ms. Haley was able to bring in amazing new teachers and assistants and they have all worked together to create a caring and educational environment that has allowed our son to thrive.  We get daily updates and pictures through the app that the center uses which greatly appreciated.  Another added bonus, that our son absolutely loves, is the occasional trip to the farm that is only a short walking distance from the center.  Every one of the teachers and assistants at the center has treated my son as if he was part of their family.  He loves them all and I take great comfort in knowing how much he enjoys his time there.  If you're looking for a new child care facility I can't recommend WCLC enough.  We've had opportunities to switch to facilities closer to our home and it has been the easiest decision to keep our son at WCLC.

I guess feeding my daughter in their supervision was not that important to them! New Director (Kaitlynn Strand) is as useless as they come. Owner and her husband are just as useless and arrogant/ ignorant. These clowns sent me an email 9/10/25 after I sign my daughter out and leave the parking lot that after 9/12/25, Mia is no longer allowed in the facility because she does not take naps. No other child was targeted but mine! My daughters last day there I was told by the arrogant husband that I do not know how to run a business. Clearly not knowing that I run 2 businesses. He must think he is the only businessman in Windham, NH I will reporting this to every department possible because what they are doing are so wrong in so many levels!
