What a fun and funky place! By its very nature you know the prices will be a bit high, but there are lots of items that you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. Finally got a chance to check this place out on a kid-free afternoon. I've got no excuse as to why it's taken me so long. I literally live half a mile from LCM and pass by it almost daily. But I'm so glad I popped in. Such a cool little shop with lots of unique items. Great little store off of Beltline Road just East of Central Expressway in Richardson. I had been hearing about this little gem of a store for a long time and finally made it in to check it out. We first saw Lone Chimney Mercantile at the Dallas Farmer's Market. Annie Dibble Holland's photo art plus some really cool greeting cards allow you to support local art at various price points. We ended up buying several prints of local music venues. The Richardson outpost practices blatant localism, so unfortunately only Dallas and Austin music venue art is on offer. Ive waiting far too long to go in here. This place is full of cute art, stickers, buttons, shirts and one of a kind finds unique to DFW. I recognized a few of my favorite artists displayed here along other local designers and artists as well. Everything was high quality, reasonably priced, and unique and we left with a mix of shirts stickers pins and prints. I recommend sifting through the prints in the back corner and drop your name if your a local artist/photographer looking for a place to sell youre wares. read more

Located in the Dallas Farmers Market, this store has great gift ideas. There were unique gift pieces at reasonable prices. The young lady cashier was lazy and unfriendly. She never said a word to me when I was checking out. A couple of clicks on a computer screen and I was left to tap my card and tear off my own receipt. No thank you, no have a nice day. In a blink of an eye, she was back on her phone. Hope the owner is is paying her much to sit there on her phone all day. read more

I thought this would be a great little gift shop after I saw their tent in the ribbon cutting in downtown Richardson to introduce the big changes. When I went in, I was so disappointed to find rude gifts, things with cuss words on them and very inappropriate merchandise. I couldn't wait to get out of there. It's so sad when anyone would suggest something so rude as a gift. I would like to see the store change their direction 180 degrees to match the wholesome city I live in. 10 of 10! I highly recommend Lone Chimney Mercantile's Next Door space for your next private party or group event! It was perfect! This colorful space dazzles on it's own, with the beautiful mural, fun streamer wall and white party lights overhead. The room was clean and sanitized and the holding space in the back was perfect to toss overflow party supplies after setup was done. Annie was wonderful, providing an extra hand with setup and allowing us space as the party started to roll. The birthday girl and her friends had a blast crafting at the tables AND having a dance party in the space... it was perfectly suited to our needs. Thank you Annie & LCM!! read more
