I'll be honest. I did not know this tennis center existed until yesterday…read more This is a satellite Lifetime outpost with tennis and some pared down fitness facilities. It's in the middle of a residential neighborhood and completely tucked away so that you'd never really know it was here unless Google Maps told you. The building doesn't look like much, but the facilities seem updated and everything was very nice. The check-in was easy, prices comparable to other Lifetime locations and the courts were in perfect condition. The court lines looked like they had just been painted the day before. Best part? Parking is easy (unlike the nightmare of EVERY other Lifetime location). I don't know that I'll be back here regularly since I usually play outside or at Baseline, but it's good to know this place exists as an alternative to the indoor courts at the SLP Lifetime (where the aforementioned parking is extra nightmarish). It's only about five minutes further away from Minneapolis, but well worth the effort.

After finding the Okadale Village location I upgraded my membership to Diamond simply to use the small, paired down (as noted), equipment room due to it being mere steps from my office. The Good: *Overall the facility is nice and updated and clean *Frequented primarily by those playing tennis thus leaving the equipment room wide open most of the time *Sauna is great- I've never had to share it *The products on site make it easy to shower and go to any event without running home. They have everything I need. *Parking is a breeze *Tennis courts, although I don't use them, seem well staffed and clean The Not-so Good: *Could not find anyone to answer simple technique questions on equipment which I really needed (mild back issue)- this is a serious draw back, and why I'm not sure I'll be a member again (love the location though).Tennis is their specialty. *Saturday hours are a bit shorter, but no major complaints This is a fantastic facility; just wish they offered a little bit more to justify the upgrade in membership for a non-tennis player. Would highly recommend this location, especially if you already have a set routine and just need a very clean, no hassle location to do so.

In September of 21, we locked in our date and paid a $5,500 deposit for a late November holiday party. Two days prior to the party. the event was canceled due to the governor's mandate. We told them to just hang on to the deposit and we selected a date for 2021 (December 4). Early in September we reached out to the club to see how many we were allowed to have given the room size and any restrictions that may be in place. At that time we were told that the club would be undergoing renovations to the ball rooms during the time of our part so they would not be able to conduct our event. Rather than block out a period and NOT take reservations during that period, they made a decision to just cancel existing reservations. It seems that since Club Corp took them over they really are not a client/guest focused venue. This left me scrambling to find another venue with very short notice for the time of year. Needless to say I was extremely disgusted with the turn of events and I told them to return my deposit money and to cancel my membership since if they are only too happy to leave my high and dry I have no intention of doing further business with them. This next part shows how patheticly arrogant they have become: They told me that I can't cancel my membership until April because that is when my membership agreement expires. They are of they opinion that I have to abide by my agreement with them but they do not have to abide by their agreement with me. The best they would let me do was downgrade my membership to a dinner only membership. Pretty isulting since I will never step foot in the place again. I am sure they are aware of the chaos they have created for me with very little notice for a large event. The club has ownership and management that clearly does not care.

I called Danny Nabedrick, and he gave me the runaround and said the camps were cancelled. He never even bothered to tell families the camps were cancelled and would not issue a refund. I continued to call, text, and email him. Crickets. Eventually, I had to dispute the charge with my credit card. Twin Cities Tennis somehow lied in their response, and the dispute didn't go through. At that point, I assumed they were bankrupt or out of business and just moved on. Fast forward to this week... They're texting me about signing up for this year's camp, as if nothing happened. I looked up the camps, and some of them are being held at schools that don't even have tennis courts.
