"Jumpers and Bumpers" is for the littles. Our instructor was not unkind but seemed perhaps burned out? I wonder if instructions could be given more slowly so that little persons under the age of 3 might more easily grasp concepts, especially doing circuits. I had my two kids there for swim lessons. What a joke! They barely progressed in over 6 months of lessons. They had 5 kids in the class which made it so they got like 5 minutes of total instruction. Management was terrible. I thought they turned it around when this nice guy came for a couple months but when he left, it all went to hell again. I talked to the owner lady and she absolutely didn't care. Seems like all they want is your money and not to provide a quality program. read more

THE SWIMMING LESSONS When my son was just a baby we took him to swimming lesson here, he seemed to enjoy it, but at that time we only did several sessions and didnt really see any improvement. We're back 5 years later, my Son started swimming lesson in January 2012 when he didnt want to put his face in the water AT ALL, now all he wants to do is go underwater!! So within just 4 months, my son has transformed from not wanting to have water in his face to keep doing under water over and over and also he's now manage to glide by himself and even refused to use any floating device while before he was even afraid to glide USING floating device! I am really impressed of all his progress, thanks to shallow, warm water and GREAT instructors! They are all super patient to their students. Every month or so, they do instructor switching, which I felt bit weary at first, but turned out, all the instructors are really good in teaching and dealing with kids. The price I think really worth your money, I have made some comparisons to other places which also have swimming classes. You are allowed to have make up class if you miss the class. They also do pro-rate fee for any classes you enroll, which is great. We got called twice for pool disclosure, when it happens, we can choose either to have make up class or to have credit for next month tuition. It is not easy to get into any of the classes, though. We had to be in the waiting list for a while to get a spot in the swimming class. It's also not easy to have a make up class either, a lot of time I get a make up class 2 weeks from the week that I miss. I wish they open Friday afternoon for make up class only. The other downside is I dont like the changing area, it is FREEEEEEEZING cold in winter time!!! But overall my Son had a great time here - both swimming and doing gymnastic! read more

Absolutely amazing swim lessons. The ratio is 3:1 which is great for the kids - our son gets lots of attention/ instruction. The instructors are great with our son who is still fearful of submerging his head. They are patient with him but also push him - it's an excellent balance. His current instructor is Charlie and he is wonderful - our son loves him. He does great skill work but also has fun with them and makes the kids laugh. The head of the program, Bill, is awesome and truly cares about the quality of instruction and satisfaction of the kids/parents. Overall, it's an excellent program, and I highly recommend it. read more

This place is awesome. My lil man started swimming lessons in the summer, and he has improved so much in swimming. The instructors work great with kids. They do such a great job. Nice facility, knowledgeable staff, always run on time. My kids have gone here for swim lessons and gym kids (pre-gymnastics) and they both enjoy their classes. It is a bit $$$ and I feel like their staff has a high turnover rate; plus their classes can be hard to get into once you're on the waiting list. read more

Excellent place for children to grow and develop! In the three years that my children have attended a wide variety of classes offered by LMG from preschool gymnastics and toddler swim classes to the team gymnastics I've never had a bad experience there! All three of my kids learned to swim there and are strong swimmers now. On our recent vacation they all did great in the open water due to the love of swimming that was encouraged there with the nonthreatening environment, warm water in the pool and shallow depth of the pool. The staff at the gym and pool area are always very professional, smiling, and ready to help. All of the instructors are excellent with children and helping children succeed is their goal. My kids love every minute we spend at LMG. Jeff and Suzie (the owners of the gym) are the nicest and most attentive people you would ever meet. They care about helping children reach their goals and it's very important for me as a parent. read more

I think gymnastics is a positive investment for a growing child. However, Lone Mountain Gymnastics might be a deceiving investment of quality care and concern for others. The coaches and instructors are all nice and really help motivate the students, but the owners are quickly going downhill. The management at Long Mountain Gymnastics is almost non-existent. I have personally experienced one of the owners act out in anger on more than one occasion. This is not safe for the children or workers involved. I think that this business needs a huge evaluation on how things are managed and communicated throughout all departments. Communication is lacking among the owners and their workers. When confronted about issues within the gym they simply ignore it because there may be bigger issues at hand with fundraisers or progression of children's gymnastic skills. In my opinion, if you want to run a solid business, you do not brush all of your problems under a rug. You must communicate issues between all employees in order to solve and correct them. Lone Mountain Gymnastics does not work to fix issues, their solution is to pretend like they don't exist. Or better yet, point the finger elsewhere. Consider these truths before investing in this facility. Perhaps this could inspire a morally just sole to take on production of a new gymnastics facility so that we are not forced to send children to one that is run by people who don't know how to handle confrontation or resolution of issues. read more
