Unfortunately we didn't understand that they would not be providing the wheelchair. They advertise "medical " transport. The driver showed up in a minivan. If my mom would have had her own wheelchair she would not have been able to ride securely in the van. She had great difficulty being lifted into the van. Not safe for an 86 year old woman recovering from hip replacement surgery. We essentially paid for a very $$$$$ expensive Uber ride. The driver was a nice gentleman and he delivered mom safely. We had to pay for this service privately from our mom's fixed income because it's not covered by insurance. I spoke with case manager today from rehabilitation facility where my mom was transferred from, he confirmed that he in fact can confirmed with Everyday Health that this would be a wheelchair van transport and he was assured it would be. He and his staff were as shocked as we were when the driver showed up in a minivan. If I would have known this would be the service we would receive for my 86 year old mom post total hip replacement, I would have done it myself.

This company is very unprofessional and the owner turned out to be exceptionally rude and did not…read moreoffer anything in return for not providing service. First of all, he charged me upfront and told me nothing about cancellation fees. He went to pick up my mother at a rehab facility and then stated that he couldn't take her because the facility put her in a larger wheelchair that will not fit the van he drove. I was informed she was placed,in a larger wheelchair since she was going due to her legs and did not want them to be closed together.I stated how come he didn't ask about weight requirements; he said I was supposed to tell him I told him that it seems the company would ask those questions. He refused to take my mother and left. When I called back for another appointment. He stated he did not have an opening the next day,and that there cancellation which was all $20. Stated it wasn't his fault, I could always use someone else, and there was nothing else he could do. very rude and abrupt and would not take any blame for the whole ordeal; but with you, the money did not receive a refund nor cancellation fee difference.

When I texted that my appointment would be another 45 minutes, then again when my appointment was done, I only had to wait 5 minutes for them to pick me up. The ride was very comfortable even for being in a wheelchair. The driver and helper were both incredibly fun to talk to and very helpful. I will use them again.
