However, I wouldn't necessarily classify it as sporting goods, they don't sale the same stuff you get at Academy to Dick's Sports, they sale outdoor mountainy type of items... climbing, hiking, kayaking, bouldering, trail walking, camping ... that type of stuff, both materials and the clothes. It is really nice inside. It doesn't look anything inside like the older exterior shows. The staff and I believe the owner are super nice. I came in today because they carry Kuhl brand clothing, I was surprised that they had more styles then REI did, and they had longer lengths. Walked out with some, very happy.

What I thought was unique was the caps that featured a Velcro loop circle on the front, and you could buy a variety of different patches with Velcro on the back in order to place on the cap you choose. The sales floor was full of merchandise, employees were readily available for assistance, and the check-out process was smooth sailing. I did need to ask an employee where to find athletic wear as I needed shorts for the gym. Not only did they answer my question, they walked me over to the appropriate area of the store. Most places nowdays simply point to where merchandise is located. Not Cabela's! What a great way to go above and beyond in customer service. It cost me $150 for 6 passes. The passes are good for one year, the expiration date is written on each one, 12-2023. He has only used three, and has three remaining. Today he went to use the range and was told "we no longer accept those passes". My son said they don't expire until December. He was told, "doesn't matter, you can't use them". This is outright theft. Our family are all avid shooters and none of us will ever step foot in this place again. Nothing but a bunch of thieves.
