I really hate writing bad reviews but we wish we listened to the one review stating to not use this company. I hope our review helps because as it turns out we are not the only family that Lone Star Painters has either done poor work for and/or taken money from. The paint team showed up late, left early, used the wrong color paint, did not prep our home properly and did a nightmare of a job painting. The way they tried to cut in the paint on our walls made no sense, they would start in one spot then stop and start in another. Leaving incomplete sections here and there. We are glad we stopped the work when we did but we are now in the process of taking legal action for our money back as the owner is refusing to reimburse a portion of our deposit. They only actually worked one day for maybe four or five hours but he's trying to charge us for two days. Then he explained that he had to charge us for the paint but failed to explain why he kept all the paint that he's charging us for. It's a shame because he came across as a nice genuine person but after requesting him to stop the work he has been untruthful and aggressive with his emails. Don't use this company, there are other companies that will paint your home without taking a penny till the job is complete and you are happy with their work! What a huge scam and waste of money this company was. Hired them to come paint a nursery for our new baby and the adjacent hallway. They took my money, showed up for the first few days and then ghosted me and abandoned the job. Opened paint cans everywhere, leaving a pregnant woman to clean up the mess. They wont respond to emails, wont pick up the phone, nothing. I should have believed the previous comments but I thought oh well its just one room and a hallway there's no way they'll screw me on that. And yet they did... Also, that lady that left the 5 star review, if you go on her social media, there's numerous pictures of her and Aaron, the owner. They're def family friends or something so don't trust her opinion. Aaron and his crew are absolutely awesome!!! They are so easy to work with, very clean and most of all every night I came home I never knew they had been there so I could still relax in my house and use my kitchen!(despite they were painting my interior). Aaron quoted me 4 days but finished in 3 1/2 days with perfection achieved!!! I have since referred 2 friends to Lonestar Painters and I will continue to refer! Btw-I got 3 quotes and there's was the cheapest by $2,000!!!! read more

We have used Aaron and his company Lone Star Painters, LLC to initially stain a new fence, then to paint the inside of two of our homes, one with cathedral ceilings (not an easy task to paint) and each time his crew has come to do work, they have done an outstanding job, working diligently and professionally. My husband is extremely particular and he was pleased with their workmanship so that in itself is a big deal. I suspect that the bad review I recently saw was an error in the customer picking out the wrong color as opposed to Aaron actually using the wrong color. Since we have used Lone Star Painters with so many jobs, I know the company well enough to know that Aaron goes over and beyond to make his customers happy and if there was a wrong color involved, through the fault of either side, he would have certainly worked with the customer to make it right. I hired Aaron , for a fence job at first. The quality and professionalism was immeasurable so, I've decided to have his company take care of my drywall, cabinetry staining and I will probably have them refinish my garage floor. I would recommend them to anyone who needs work around their home or business in a heartbeat. read more
