When the crew installed the turf, they broke lines in the sprinkler system while breaking up the rocks in my existing lawn. This caused flooding of the newly installed base, which had to be redone. They had to come out a few times to correct the installed turf. To this day I have gaps in the different pieces of turf they installed. During the process, I had total strangers arriving at my house to ask me "where do I get the rocks". When I asked them what they meant, these strangers told me that an ad was placed on Facebook for free rocks. So, the company thought it was appropriate to sell the scraps from my job on Facebook, giving out my home address. When I called the company, they told me that they would stop. The next day, strangers would continue to show up at my house for "free rocks." Communication was awful. During the sales process...quick call backs and replies to emails. As soon as problems began on the job, I had to call the office several times. I spoke directly to their team members, who several times told me they'd call me right back with answers. Each time I called them, I received no call back. I had to call them back each time to remind them that they had committed to call me back. They also stopped responding to Yelp messages. I recommend you avoid using Ideal Turf at all costs.

Our consultation with Cameron was easy and informative! The install then took a full day. The only thing I wish we could have understood more of during the consultation was that we were going to need to purchase irrigation equipment prior to the turf install, so that was an unexpected expense that day. Otherwise, we received three quotes total to do our work and Ideal Turf offered almost an equivalent quote to the cheapest one we received, yet then seemed the most professional which is why we went with them. His crew showed up early and worked hard all day. 1-when they started I told them my stamped concrete driveway could get damaged and they should stay off the driveway. Instead, A tractor ran back and forth, grinding sand, and taking off finish. 2- Then the rain came. The infill sand washed out all over the driveway. They used a non- permeable base under the turf. Crushed granite should have been used but we were never given the option to pay more for the correct material for out soil and drainage. 3- The mature oak. The turf was installed all the way to the tree trunk rather than cutting in a tree well. I wasnt given an option. Because the 4" road base wont allow water or oxygen into the soil, the tree will die. 4- flooding. The water sails off the turf like a waterslide and has nowhere to go except towards the house. 5- the seam is visible with a human on one side. Colton says to just keep an eye on it!! Yep, Im still watching the water overflow and not absorbing into the soil underneath. I might as well have paved it with concrete. Colton said he would remove it at my expense. Don't be fooled by his big smile.

The sprinkler repair company charged me an extra 100 to locate it. I am not asking for my additional cost, I am only asking Bo to come out and repair 3x3 turf area that had to be pulled to make the valve repair. North Texas Luxury Lawns was hands down the right choice. Out of the companies we requested quotes from we had 2 companies that never responded, one that came out and said they would send a quote and never did (even after i requested one several times) and a couple that came out and sent quotes but told use they had to cap off our sprinkler system or used dirt under the turf (cheapest way to install and odors will build up). Need to have the sprinklers....hello we live in Texas and go months without rain and the foundation to our home has to be watered. Through this process Bo confirmed everything that we found in our research and used the processes and materials we were looking for. This is a large investment and we wanted to make sure it would be done correctly. No understood that and boy! Let me tell you...they did an AMAZING job! There are a lot of fly by night companies or companies that will steal your money and leave you high and dry.....this is not one of them.
