And as a party host, you end up with a ton of great pictures all in one space and easy to share. I submitted a Request-a-Quote on Yelp back when I started planning an event, Several businesses reached out to me and I immediately felt confident hiring Donnie with Smiles 2 Laughs. He is so kind and responds quickly. His price packages are among the best and most affordable I've found. I went with the simplest option: 2 hours of unlimited HD photos (including props and a backdrop if wanted). Smiles 2 Laughs can also do gifs and videos, 360 photos/videos, and they can book longer gigs. They text you on the spot with the footage you take! Donnie and his photo booth made my party much more memorable. Donnie is great at encouraging people to take photos, be silly, and to take more photos, because you really can never have enough (it's literally unlimited during your booked time, so take as many as your heart desires)! Easy to get a quote, easy to book, easy to pay. Easy communication. Donnie arrived early for the event, set up quickly, took great care of the party guests, broke down his equipment with ease, and had a drive of photos ready for me the following morning. I will absolutely hire Smiles 2 Laughs again!

Recommending other pros is…read morenot something I take lightly, as it comes with the trust that my own clients, friends, and family would be in excellent hands with that vendor. My bridal beauty team has collaborated with Danielle on multiple weddings & events, giving me the happy opportunity to get to know her well over the last 8yrs. Some of Danielle's beautiful traits that stand out the most are: She is down to earth, hilarious, and welcoming; everyone is treated like family! Spending even a short amount of time with her means you are instantly enveloped in excitement, laughter, and vibrant creativity. Her dedication to bringing dreams into tangible reality is impressive! She makes it her mission to craft incredibly personalized and awesome events for each client. She is a go-getter, driven by passion and likely a touch of OCD (#samehere), and I've never seen her in a spot where she couldn't find a positive solution to a challenge. As she genuinely cares for people, it's easy to see why so many of her clients and colleagues become her friends. Danielle is best described as a force of nature, an inventive and fiercely benevolent woodland entity...one who brings copious amounts of hands-on experience and fairy dust to every project she is involved with! She is amazing; BOOK HER.

From the moment we met Danielle and found out about her occupation (a year before we got engaged), we knew that using One Fine Day would be in our future. From the immediate response to the request for more info on her website to the day after our wedding when I had an important question... Danielle and the crew took the best care of us. We did a first look reveal before our ceremony. Taking pictures before gave us more time to party. My wife and I couldn't wait to see each other. Before, Danielle would run back and forth to check on us while transforming our venue into a dreamscape. All I wanted to know was how my wife was doing. I knew she would look beautiful, just like she always does, but I wanted Danielle's confirmation. "She's doing well. She wants to see you. She's eating LIKE HOW YOU SHOULD BE EATING. Of course, she is beautiful." I think she was just as anxious and excited as we were to see each other. We felt so much love from Danielle and the crew. It was a perfect day. She made us feel like we were her only clients. I have wondered if anyone else felt the same way and was treated likewise. When I look at other reviews, I find that this is true for everyone else. The support, the attention to detail, emergency dress repair skills, imagination, and transparency. We all get it! I'm not sure how to thank Danielle and her crew. I guess a short review does plenty... but we are eternally grateful to her team. I wish we had copious amounts of money so we could have her throw parties... But then she wouldn't be able to be our guest. Hire One Fine Day. Please find out how to reach me. Invite my wife and me to your event. We will bring a gift and have the best time ever because that is what it will be. The Best Time Ever.

We…read moreare scheduling a session with someone else at 1 yr and getting back into wedding apparel, to get photos that the photographer should have taken. Beware! The pictures were good but the bridals were all one pose. l The wedding, however was a nightmare. Contract not upheld, never went by the list of photos that had been given, the video was completely different than the teaser and only a 2 out of a score of 10 (the maid of honor speech was not in it at first, no speaking, omitted memorable parts.Asked for but never got many, many pictures. Not one picture was taken of the bride with her family! We don't have bride with mom & dad, bride with dad alone, I got one because I butted in one time & asked. They had no check list to make sure they didn't forget. And all of us were not focused on which photos the "professionals" were taking in order to keep up with them. However, even the poses, I requested on the spot, we never received the photos of. Then they missed the deadline (by Months) to have pics back, had to ask for discounts since important pics weren't even taken and video was awful. Was promised raw pics, had to keep hounding, then he blocked everyone of us for asking him to do his job and make the best of a botched wedding. Still didn't. In the end 2 grandparents died within a month after wedding and we have no pictures of them, we have no pictures of us with our daughter on the special day. Very unprofessional, images only average and you may or may not get your photos. Oh,and I had schedule family pics with him before wedding but his flight got delayed and he only communicated the day of, hours before he wouldn't be making it (it was already after money spent on hair and makeup), then I had to keep reminding HIM to return my money. Do Not Use if you want to be SURE of a great job, communication and promises kept.

My fiance and I were unable to coordinate a time to meet with her and go over the entire contract, line by line. She said that was fine and booked us for our engagement photo session. We had a 5 1/2 month engagement (October 2015- April 2016) so time was of the essence for us. A day or so before our engagement photo date came up (in February 2016), I was bedridden with an injury and asked if we could reschedule for the next week. Jen told us that she would be out of town for the next few weeks that we had available, so that pushed out shoot back by a month, which was just 6-7 weeks away from our wedding. We asked that she find a restroom somewhere downtown so that I could change there, instead of a car (which was what she said that she has most of her clients do). On the day of the engagement shoot she DID NOT find a restroom for me, so we had to drive back across town (from downtown Dallas to White Rock Lake) so that I could change. She took that time out of our shoot time. We were given 2 hours. So because she did not find a place to change, like she assured us she would, we lost out on an entire location because she counted the travel time as part of the 2 hours. As for my bridal session, my dress was on rush and things got held up so my bridal session ended up being just 10 days before the wedding. She assured me that there would be enough time for her to get my complimentary canvas printed for the wedding. A couple of days before the bri9\dal session she asked to change the time to 2 hours later because of daylight savings. I guess she forgot about that. I told her that I would prefer for her to not change times. The session went well, she showed me a couple of photos on the spot and I picked one out for my canvas print. "I want that one for my bridal portrait." She sent me an email lae the next day that had a lot of information on it and a link to a 100 bullet point list of things I wanted her to take photos of at the wedding and I was to select the specific photos that I wanted her to take. At the bottom of the email was a link to the bridal portraits, asking me to pick the one I wanted printed. I somehow missed the last part of the email, partly because I was annoyed that I had to fill out a form on what photos I wanted taken. I explained to her, via email, that I had sent a list of photos I wanted and the rest I wanted to be left up to her expertise. She got riled up with me and accused me of being rude. I was simply trying to explain my thoughts, and as a bride it is stressful when someone throws that long list at you a week prior to the wedding. On the wedding day, Jen showed up in black yoga pants and a grey casual shirt. When I first saw her my thought was "Oh I'm sure she will change before the ceremony." But she didn't. My mom and aunt were setting up the gift table and my mom said something about how there was no bridal portrait. Jen was quick to say that she emailed me over and over about it and I never picked one. The truth was that she put it on the end of a long email and never mentioned it again, not to mention the fact that I TOLD her which photo I wanted printed DURING THE BRIDAL SESSION. After the wedding, I made sure that Jen had my new cell phone number and her response was that she was saving it and that she would have my sneak peek photos ready the next week and that my wedding photos would be done in 4 weeks. It took 6 weeks and a phone call to the venue for me to see any sneak peek photos. I texted Jen over and over about the sneak peek photos and each time she had an excuse, her website was hacked, she was busy working, busy celebrating mother's day, etc. I called the venue in May because I was concerned that maybe our photo file was corrupted and Jen was stalling and didn't want to tell us that she didn't have any photos. The last time I had any contact with Jen was on May 12th when she told me that she had the photos and they would be ready in a few weeks (I thought 4 weeks at the most). Then I heard nothing from her again. My parents finally had to get involved and also get the venue involved as well. The girls at the venue were shocked to find out that we hadn't heard from Jen at all. Jen had told the venue that she was in touch with us and that she told us the photos would be ready mid-July. My dad called the venue and conference called me in, as well. When the venue told me what Jen had said about being in touch with us I said "That's a bold face lie!" And it was. My dad had tried to reach Jen but she never returned his call. I also explained to the venue that while I knew Jen's website had been hacked, that would not have prevented her from editing photos and getting them to us in some way, shape, or form (USB/CD/etc). Avoid doing business with her!
