Sergio and Corinn were in touch with me throughout the move-in and I appreciated that immensely. They also kept in touch throughout the year to check in and keep us updated for the weather conditions and such. They truly put together a clean and welcoming apartment and it was clear to me they truly wanted to make those of us who rented from them welcome. To add fuel to the fire, in the end of that phone conversation, he told me to let him know if I found a property on my own so that he could schedule a tour. WHAT???? You want ME to do the leg work in finding the property so that all you have to do to collect your commission is to give me a tour???? John has got to be one of the laziest realtors I've ever dealt with. In calling his boss, Erik Hoferer, after my conversation with John to complain about him, Erik did not apologize to me, nor did he offer to find a property for me. In telephoning Tripp Way, after I found his cell phone number on his company's website, he screamed at me for disturbing his vacation, even though I was unaware of him being on vacation. Others such as Grier Wakefield, Daniel Wham and Griffin Conaty were unresponsive and apathetic to my communications. DSM had a law firm threaten to sue me if I wrote a disparaging review of my horrible experience with them. It's a shame they're not familiar with the U.S. Constitution. Lastly, they refused to deal with me in 2025 because I left them a negative review 4 years prior when their employees were just as apathetic and unresponsive back then. As a result, I feel that the culture at DSM is very retaliatory toward their clients at the property owner's expense. In addition, if you look at DSM's website, you'll see that each of their team members are pictured. There are 36 total team members, and only one MAY be someone of color. Also, out of the 36, only a third are women. What does that say about DSM's hiring practices? I am a woman, and when I TRIED to be a DSM client on 3 different occasions over the course of the past 4 years, I felt undervalued and dismissed each time!

Their disregard for detail and failure to communicate effectively left me feeling unsupported and overwhelmed. To make matters worse, changes were made to the contract of sale after the settlement date, specifically regarding the solar contract--an unacceptable and unethical practice. I was in distress throughout the entire process, and Dominion Title Inc. offered no reassurance or accountability. I strongly urge others to go elsewhere.
