I had a much different experience at Long & McQuade. I found the staff to be quite patient and knowledgeable. I spent weeks looking for that perfect guitar. The staff were always quite pleasant and hooked me up several times on their amps to test guitar after guitar, never pressuring me for a sale. After I had selected one, I price-compared it online and was unable to find the same guitar for a cheaper price. They assured me that, had I found it cheaper, they would match the price. Each time I have returned, they ask me how I'm making out with my new guitar. I have asked them about other instruments, that they don't typically carry and they took the time to see if they could bring it in for me. Rude staff & ridiculous prices! Nothing else really needs to be said. Save yourself the frustration (along with some money) and go to the other music store in town! They're much better at customer service and actually care about your needs, not what they need to sell that day. read more
