Boy do I wish I could rate this place under one (1) star!!!! For starters I visited this "convenience store" (which is located in the George Deukmejian Court of Long Beach, Ca) while there to take care of a traffic ticket. I had some loose change on me and opted to grab a snack before heading over to the traffic department. While in the beverage section and deciding on a bottled water or juice I ask one of the clerks for the price, she barks (and I mean literally barked!) "one sixty four!" I decided on the juice instead and when she realized I now had the juice in my hand and had put the water back she immediately rushed over to the counter and barked "that's two dollars!" I said fine and handed her the money... I felt rushed and so I just complied but wasn't done at all so I looked around for a snack while the juice never moved from the cashier clerks counter or view. finally I decided water was the best option (which you remember was only $1.64) and this time I had a snack in hand to go with it I politely asked her to disregard the juice and exchange it for the water , that's when she turned into a pit bull!!! Slamming her register she says "I just took the two dollars from you and I can't give you a refund....we don't exchange or refund" I didn't notice any sign that said no refunds or exchange because I was standing out of view of it and when I did see it it was a small strip of paper taped to the register (it was like finding Waldo ...seriously)... She continued to be rude and take a tone with me ...I realized it was going nowhere when she waved her hand in a dismissive gesture towards me...so I asked to speak to the manager she just fell silent, to this I asked for her name (still silence) . The others employee was looking on and so I asked her her name (only to demonstrate how simple the request was to the employee from hell) she told me her name and the mangers name but exclaimed that "she [the manager] wasn't going to be [here] until 2:00PM" " upon leaving the store after this I notice Sheriffs deputy's rushing towards the store and I thought "I wonder what just happen " when I realized she actually called a bunch of deputy's even though the only person being rude belligerent and loud was her....at about 3:00 PM I go into the store to speak with Tiffany (the Manager ) she is in the store with a gentlemen seeming to have a conversation . I extend my hand and give her my full name and explain to her I have a issue concerning the rudeness and unprofessionalism of one of her employees she looks at the gentlemen and smirks (I ignore it ... Whatever it meant I don't know but it was a poor gesture in taste)...as if I spoke with a wall she looked stone faced and seem to want to only want to talk about her no refund no exchange policy (which I admitted early on that I respected now that I could see the little tiny sign on the register) and the "price of tea in china" instead of the employees misconduct and rudeness from the gate...I finally had to ask her who's the owner (for christsakes! )... She exclaimed it is her...and just so you know I did ask her about the smirk exchange between her and the gentlemen and she pleaded the 5th...bottom line if your in court in long beach go to their subway or one of the food carts outside or even the catering Truck. It's just not worth it to deal with a "convenience store" owned and operated by rude ungrateful unprofessional people read more

I had court today and the judge had told me to go print some papers then go back later this afternoon. After I printed them out I went to the convenient store to get a snack before I go back. I went to the register to purchase my items and this nice lady was very polite and kind towards me. She helped me very much and I'm happy with her services. I also printed my papers in the convenient store and I totally recommend this for others. Her name is Ericka and I recommend she gets some kind of raise because she was the nicest employee that I see at the court house today. Because everyone I seen at the court house was rude or having a bad day. read more

Someone from this company knocked on my door at 7am, which is both stupid and illegal. It's stupid because if you wake me up when I'm sleeping obviously I'm not going to answer the door. I'm half asleep, not dressed, not presentable, you seriously think I'm going to get up and answer the door for a stranger??? It's illegal because I live behind a locked gate with no trespassing signs posted. They are not allowed to come past the gate. I have no idea why they are trying to get to me, I have no outstanding business with anyone. What they are doing makes no sense and is a really dumb way to try to get ahold of someone. read more

Today I had court and totally forgot to print my papers. So the judge sent me to the convenient store. There was this young lady that greeted me and she helped me through the whole process. And I bought some homemade cookies from her. And just know they were super delicious and I highly recommend you buy some and I might have to pre-order some from her again. Her name is Erica and she was super polite and very helpful today. I'm so happy that I had this great experience and ecpecially at the court house. read more

I came in and the cashier told me welcome and good morning. she helped me print some copies for an appointment i had and she was so courteous. the prices were very rational and they had a big variety of things like envelopes, stamps, food, etc. i would recommend this place especially when you need documents or copies fast. usually when i go to other places like Staples or others it takes a long time and they dont help you a lot but the cashier helped me. I went to the Court Express today and the cashier, Erika Ayala, greeted me. She was very friendly and polite. She helped me and showed me the sandwiches, snacks, drinks, and combos. The customer service and food was fantastic, she did very well. She sold the food to me at a reasonable price, and she made my day today. You can tell she is very experienced with her job.
