Parked at 4444 Ocean and did the short walk to Warped Tour and Sunshine was conveniently on the way and at the bottom of an apartment complex. It's small but they have snacks, water, refrigerated beverages. I picked up a Gatorade for hydration and drank it on my walk to the entrance. If you stop in here, be sure to continue walking through the apartment complex, down the stairs and you'll see signs directing you to Warped Tour. Sunshine is a life saver because if I didn't get the Gatorade I would've walked in with no electrolyte drink in my system and it was VERY hot that day. Cost was $3 and inside Warped Tour for a Ghost electrolyte drink I think it was $7 and much smaller. read more

I've lived in the Camden Harbor View apartment complex for several years and always looked highly on the Sunshine Market. It's proved to be very "convenient" for all of my last minute wants/needs: everything from a pint of yummy ice cream to some much needed Tylenol. It's always been a place I could rely on, especially when my heart is craving that Ben & Jerry goodness! I'd like to give a special thanks to some of the amazing and friendly staff, most notably Jonathan, who often works the night shift. I've lost count of the number of times I've jumped in for a bag of chips, and left having enjoyed a wonderful and heart warming conversation. He is both incredibly friendly & professional, and I've always appreciated his kindness and ability to assist me with such a positive attitude. For those looking to stop in while traversing through the Camden Harbor View, I'd give this place a strong recommendation. It's a small little spot, but it's got plenty of variety and a welcoming staff that make it a memorable visit. read more

New Market on the block. I didn't have the opportunity to talk to the owner, but the employee was extremely helpful. The owner tries to find great deals and then passes them along to his customers. Some items are higher, than a high volume chain grocery store. However this is the only grocery store in the area. Saving time and money spent of gasoline is well worth any increased cost. It is located in the heart of the Camden Harbor View Apartments. Walking distance for all the dwellers living on the West End of the Pike. I found the store to be well lit and the shelves full. For me this wonderful as they feature fresh organic vegetables and fruit, as well as traditional times, like cold beverages, breakfast cereals, and such. I haven't been walking distance to a grocery store since I was 7 years old, and that my friends was a long time ago. ;-) As they have just opened, the selections are being upgraded each day. They do sell cigarettes and sundries. I took a stroll along the isles and found cleaning items, like dish soap. The more I looked the more items I found. I didn't have a "real" camera with me, and I plan to return with a "real" camera to provide higher quality photos. It was getting late and I purchased two bags of rice cakes and left. read more

Yes, yes. A short climb up the stairs from my Hyatt Centric hotel-was able to get a few necessities at regular inflation prices (lol) and not the robbery of the hotel market. And the staff was super helpful and kind. read more

Highly convenient location for those living in Camden and the surrounding complexes. The store is comprised of a few sections with a small to medium variety of brands to choose from within each section. Here are a few things that stood out: -Pet Food -Milk and Dairy -Juice and Gatorade -Frozen Pizzas & Microwavable meals -Candy -Good variety of Chips and Snacks -Cereal -Ice Cream -Bread -Lunch Meat -Condiments -Some Fruits and Vegetables -Toiletries -Cleaning supplies They don't currently serve any type of alcohol but if there is enough demand I am certain they will roll out a beer section at the very least. The store hours are more than reasonable with the store being open most days from 10am-10pm. Definitely worth investigating if you are out of something and don't feel like getting in the car to go to the supermarket. read more

Over priced, though I didn't mind initially for the convenience but not anymore. Rude employee, the oldest looking one who works late afternoon shifts.... acts like the owner but hopefully isn't. He calls it HIS store, told me to get out of HIS store when I questioned him about why he couldn't pay me my $40 lottery scratcher ticket winnings. It's common that they say they can't pay you even the smallest amounts if you win (don't buy lottery tix here!) so I decided to ask him why. His response was to tell me to "get out of HIS store." What? I thought, and then asked him if he thought he was providing "good customer service." Something was off with him and he responded that he "doesn't care about customer service or ME." Oddly, it all felt personal toward me as a woman so I left upset and in total shock. But shortly after I went back to try and talk to him as I thought maybe he was just having a bad day. But the minute he saw me he said "You're back? Get out of here." This employee has issues and could care less how he treats customers, especially women. If he actually is the owner like he represented, how embarrassing! My family and friends are now enjoying pretty much ANY other nearby store outside of this one. All have positive, enjoyable employees who DO care about customers. SO, for a GREAT customer service experience, AVOID the Sunshine Convenience Market. read more

OK- this is a tiny store but somehow it packs in all of the essentials and then some! The owner is so friendly. It is in walking distance to anywhere downtown Long Beach. It is a little on the pricier side, but that is because this store has Organic!! stuff in it. From milk, to frozen pizza, to paper towels and dog food- and of course alcohol :) Parking is free for 2 hours in the guest garage of the apartment complex on top of this tucked away store. read more
