AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! It took over 13 months for them to file my 2023 tax return. First they took several months to finish my company's K-1s, then multiple extensions later I withdrew my documents to file them myself. First time they gave me my documents, they left out the K-1s I'd need to file it. I went back and picked those up upon request, only to find that they still omitted the workbook necessary to file my K-1 data. This forced me to go back and ask them to file my return. Nevermind the lost opportunity to invest that return over the past year, it has caused me to pay 1000's more in debt interest that could have been paid off last year, and I've had to delay moving and switch to month by month for rent and utilities which costs even more. Every time I contacted them to check on the status, i was told it was "in review" and that the main partner is just a perfectionist. That is no excuse for taking over a year to complete a fairly simple tax return that took me a weekend to do with H&R's app (up to the point where i lacked the data to complete a form). What go this finally moving was that they hired at least a half dozen more staff, after 2 retired. As long as the others are still there, I'm not going back. read more
