TLDR; Don't use if you're a male, seem to only want to represent the female side. If you are a female....well....they might not represent men....or they might just be really bad lawyers...that's your coin to toss. Honestly, I went to a consult with this group a few years ago...and after dealing with many lawyers for different reasons....these guys were the worst. To this day I still am amazed at how bad that consult actually was. I was in a very abusive relationship and my ex ended up being arrested ect. In the consult...I couldn't believe the advise...it was almost as if they were trying to make me not want to use them....just collect the consult money and move on. I asked if the consult was free...of course it wasnt, however they advertised that they offer it, they basically outlined that Im going to be paying thousands in child support (which i expected) and spousal (in my case it was ludicrous to expect it) and I should and be grateful for that, gave me the feelin that they were very much just wanting to represent women and only women....which is fine...but advertise that...and dont charge me a bloody consult fee. It's either that or they are just that bad at law to think that anyone should be paying over half their income in spousal. I went to James Carr, ended up with a 1000 child support and zero spousal. Which is a completely fair deal....Long grp....2000+ a month child and spousal support that they didnt seem to think was outrageous. I hope this dissuades at least 5 people from using up a consult fee....cost me 300$ ill cost you 1500. Hope the burn was worth it. read more
