When I was a new patient the staff made sure that I received the paperwork prior to arrival so that the process was quick and easy when I got there. I am a skeptic when it comes to doctors and whether they are knowledgeable due to personal experience with quack doctors that led to a previous lung collapse and a near plane death experience after failure to diagnose by not taking an X-ray, I know my fair share of bad doctors. Let's just say considering I've moved to Brooklyn and I'm still going to Long Island to see a doctor speaks a lot about my personal and professional feelings towards this doctor.

I arrived early and was greeted at front desk in a friendly manner. Doing paperwork was straightforward on a tablet. I saw Dr. Brandon Naing. Lovely, he took his time talking to me and explaining things. He did not rush, which I find to be one of the most annoying things at doctors office. He was thorough and listened to my concerns. X-rays were taken immediately there, results and next steps all within 15 minutes. I was actually out of the office before my actual appointment time. Sweet deal! The waiting room was on the smaller side and clean at the Bellemore location.

copying & pasting my google review here so more people are warned…read more do not come here for bunion surgery. read that as many times as you need so you can save yourself. dr lee was my surgeon. what i thought was a confident attitude during consultations was actually carelessness. he did the bunion surgery on me over a year ago. i have been in pain ever since. i complained that the pain was not improving for MANY months. he would shrug (even saying "huh" "im confused" "i don't know what's going on" etc, verbatim) and send me off to PT, where the pain still did not go away & problems worsened. he preferred to talk to me about my personal life instead of the worsening pain i was experiencing. go figure. now, i have several complications, unable to move forward with my life, barely able to walk, my other foot developing problems from compensating, and in constant pain. i am crippled. i am in more pain now than before the surgery. i actually miss having the bunion. i'm likely looking at a revision surgery. never again at livingston though. i would give 0 stars if i could. again, whatever you do, do NOT come here for bunion surgery.

She is kind and professional and I have recommended her to many friends and family members. I have called her several times to answer questions and she has recalled me very promptly . I have friends that run from Dr to Dr & seem to enjoy a full calendar of appts! Go figure??? Not this girl. Anyway.... On to Dr. Levitz! She's a one woman show. She's the only dr in her practice . Reminds me of going to our family dr in the 60's & 70's.... Dr. Harry Abe in Wantagh. In fact.... I haven't found a dr that I liked as much... until I found DR Levitz. The office is located in the Chase Bank bldg on the north side of Merrick Rd. Suite 300. The office is definitely NOT fancy at all. Far from it. But.... She is amazing. Soo caring & very thorough . She'll call you after hrs & always seems to be available. She's not a prescription writer so if you're the type looking for pain pills...she's not the Dr for you. She's very "by the book" & always looking out for your entire well being... Physically, mentally etc. She also offers a vitamin IV treatment. I've done it a few times & I did feel healthier afterwards. I've turned a few friends onto Dr Levitz & they go several times a week for the IV treatments. All in all.... I think she's pretty fantastic!!
