Adam Beckermann and the staff at Massapequa gastroenterology. I was in and out with a good report in just over an hour. And I mean just over an hour from the minute I walked in that door. The staff is as efficient and pleasant to deal with as any medical office I've been to. Glad that the good report gives me five years before I will be back, but I wouldn't mind seeing them again sooner given the ease with which they made what can be an uncomfortable situation.

I went directly to the hospital. On arrival the cardiologist conducted his own diagnosis, agreed with Dr. Bolic, authorized immediate surgery and assured me, both at that time and repeatedly on subsequent occasions, that Dr. Bolic had provided "first class medical care". Surgery was conducted immediately and confirmed Dr. Bolic's diagnosis and conclusion that immediate surgical intervention had been essential. Thanks to this immediate surgical intervention which I received as a result of Dr. Bolic's prompt diagnosis and referral my condition was cured and I sustained no permanent damages or injury. I have no doubt that Dr. Bolic saved my life or, at the very least, saved me from a very significantly impaired life. Separately, I have been a patient of Dr. Bolic for some time. I have always found him patient, willing to listen and willing to explain and to continue to explain until I understand what he is telling me. We drove 45 minutes to get there. We checked in, filled out all the paperwork, and then were informed that actually, they made a mistake and they have not accepted our insurance for several years and could not see us. Terrible experience. I have worked in medical reception and this is unacceptable.

This doctor does not make phone calls and does not email. To get blood or test results you have to make an appointment and go through this whole nightmare again.
