Long Island Bagel Cafe initially caught my attention because of its name - not only is this spot located in Westchester, but is Long Island known for their bagels? I realize we're a stone's throw away from NYC, but once you enter the burbs food quality can change (read: pizza). Anyway, I love a good bagel, and after checking out their website I noticed they have a large selection of items for both breakfast and lunch. Those things combined with it being a new business prompted me to check them out for lunch today. LIBC is located in one of the many strip malls on Central Park Ave in Scarsdale. I checked out their website before heading out and discovered there were multiple LIBCs on the Island with this one being the lone spot in Westchester. The website is organized well and has a section for online ordering, which I decided to utilize to avoid sensory overload and hesitation when I actually got there. There's a lot to choose from - of course bagels with a plethora of cream cheeses but also wraps, panini, salads, and baked goods. I decided to order the chicken Tuscany sandwich - in addition to the chicken the sandwich had mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, roasted red pepper, and red onion. Of course I was getting it on a bagel, choosing garlic. I also wanted to get some baked goods for later - the black and white was speaking to me as well as their homemade crumb cake. The wait time was only 10-20 minutes for my order so I headed out as soon as I submitted. The store itself is gorgeous - everything looked very clean with plenty of wide open spaces. There's a decent sized seating area as well as clear marks on where to stand to ensure social distancing. My order was ready when I got there so I was in and out in no time. The sandwich was very good; the bagel was soft and chewy with nice garlic flavor, while the fillings were fresh and worked well together. I'll admit I'm not the biggest bagel sandwich person (too heavy of a carb for me to act as sandwich bread, I'm more of a bagel and cc or butter person), but I thought this one was well crafted. I chose macaroni salad as a side which was pretty good, nothing amazing but a solid complement to the sandwich. I didn't love the black and white, it was fine but I wanted the cookie itself to be a tad firmer and drier. The crumb cake was great, lots of crumb and good flavor. Service was good, I was acknowledged promptly upon entry and the staff adhered to contactless pickup. Overall, I'm glad LIBC opened - the bagels seem to be solid, and they have a wide variety of offerings. I'll be back to explore more.

Novalicious - lox, scallion cream cheese, sliced tomato, onions, no cucumber for me. Pickle and potato salad

Great way to start a lazy cold day with the paper and a Novalicious bagel from the LIBC. Definitely a 4.8 stars. Come on YELP let us star giving 1/2 or 1/4 stars at least! The Novalicious is lox and scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel with tomato, onion and cucumber slices served with a pickle and side salad for $10.99. The woman who made up our dishes to go was very courteous and she put together a great presentation in the "to go" containers. The bagel was fresh, lox -a- plenty (no skimping here!) scallion cream cheese was abundant as well as the pickle having the right snap. And least I not forget the salads! I had the potato which was delicious and my husband had the macaroni. They were both so good I couldn't pick a winner over the other. I also have to brag about the ice coffee. Not sure what they added to it because I can't put my finger on it but as ordered it was light and sweet and oh so yummy. Tables inside were social distant, hand sanitizer available when you first walked in. A few picnic style tables outdoors but too cold and dreary to eat outdoors today. They also have a bathroom for customers. Plenty of onsite parking. They also had other options, it's not just bagels.

Ordered a hero. Tasted fine but I think over priced. Will likely not return and go back to the OG spot down the road.

Great great bagels! Lots of different options. Love the flavored coffee and the make your own salad bar. Prettier than average rainbow bagel. Good egg white salad! It's a but out of the way for me for it to be my go-tp bagel spot but I am always happy when I eat here.

Vegetable tuna on what was supposed to be "toasted" egg onion.

We were there a little before opening and a small line had already formed. Once they opened, we took our time to figure out what to order. Most of the staff were really friendly. One of the guys was not pleasant. He seemed super annoyed with every customer and then we had to hear him complain to all of his coworkers about how he wasn't supposed to open that morning. I get it; no one wants to be in that position. However, all of the customers don't have to be subjected to the poor attitude, especially since this place is obviously popular due their social media presence. Other than this one sour apple, the rest of our experience was great! Giovanni's Italian Deli is an intimately sized sandwich shop in White Plains, New York. They are located in an area with other businesses and there is free parking shared among the nearby shops. The establishment doesn't have any indoor seating, although they do have a few chairs and table outside if you want to eat on site. We ordered a total of three sandwiches: - Joe Rogan - The Famous Bronx Godfather - The Summer Bruschetta All of the sandwiches were great. Definitely crafted well with generous portions on the inside of all of the sandwiches. We watched them make the mozzarella fresh while waiting to order and for our sandwiches to be made. The guy making the mozzarella, Johnny, even gave my family samples. He made a little small portion for our toddler. Truly an awesome experience with quality sandwiches. The Summer Bruschetta was my sandwich and I can only hope it becomes something permanent on their menu! It goes without saying that, aside from the one rude staff member, our first trip to Giovanni's Italian Deli was memorable. My husband was so happy about the "sangwheeches" and is already talking about how we'll have to fit another trip to White Plains during our next visit New York. Our only hope is that Giovanni is there the next we stop by!

Our family ordered a #13,#17, #5 and a . The sandwiches were good. We should have ordered the rolls that weren't seeded but it was still good. We tried other sandwiches in the group as well. I really enjoyed the roast beef but went back in to ask for mustard which I always enjoy with my roast beef(Again I should have asked for more pickles, banana peppers and mustard) . I like my sandwiches with a punch of dilly and vinegar mix. The other thing is we should have ordered the meatball as a hot hero. Like I said it was a great stop and definitely worth the money. Service was as expected since it was all hangout and wrapped. Sodas are in a cooler which is self serve. We ended up eating our sandwiches on the outside tables and enjoyed conversing with our family. This is a family trip to a graduation. Overall great place to grab a

The brisket sandwich had succulent meat that fell apart amid a bed of cheddar and a honey barbecue sauce. The portions to me are kinda big so I ate half for lunch and the other for dinner.

After being greeted with a smile by Antonio one of the twin brothers who own the shop I ordered. The owners can't be nicer and show a real love of food. My wife got an eggplant wrap with roasted red peppers and I got the Roast Beast a roastbeef on garlic chiabatta, both were delicious. The eggplant paper thin and the housemade roastbeef rare and super tender. The sandwiches were very large, but after eating half we both continued to eat the whole sandwich. I also had their potato salad and this had the right consistency and seasoning. They also have some nice desserts, some homemade some from good sources. I asked about their breakfast being good, "i am making homemade English muffins for the morning" The tiny space with a few tables has Italian products that are well chosen breadsticks, pasta, etc. Oh the sandwiches come with your choice of flavors.
