It was my first time in here. Everyone is extremely nice! I got an everything bagel with cream cheese and a corn muffin. Bagel was outstanding, toasted perfectly with a good amount of cream cheese. I really enjoyed it. Corn muffin was moist and also delicious. This is a great hangout place for a Sunday morning to read the paper and sit in the window people watching. loved it! I ordered sandwiches. There was two slices of turkey 2 slices of cheese, 1 strip of lettuce and 1 tomato. The sandwich was small no meat for the price they are charging this is a complete rip off!!! Corner stores give you more for your money than this place! Very sad! Spent over $60 bucks for what? 2 tiny slices of meat and 2 little slices of cheese!!! The bread was hard as well!!! Can't beat a good NY bagel spot and this is just that! Great bagels and breakfast sandwiches. The veggie cream cheese is different than I've had before, large chopped veggies vs shredded, but I really liked it! Would 100% get again. And the bacon egg and cheese was cooked perfectly. read more

Update Jan 2024! So I've rediscovered Harrison Bagels as we stopped coming during the lockdown and since they didn't take CC... we went with places that delivered and took a card. I ran into the owner a week or so ago and she greeted me with a warm hug. Remembered my name to boot! After 3 + years I still felt the love. She let me know they now take CC and wanted to buy me a coffee.... Naturally I bought bagels and that sushi precision cut salmon. Gotta say this place is still great! Friendly attentive staff and the throngs of customers come and go with a smile. The bagels are still hands down the best in the area and are completely formed, not doughy C like a very popular shop in Rye Ridge. Can't say a bad thing about this place, I'm happy to be back and you have to try it. If only the owner was single..... lol. One could hope read more

The guy serving behind the counter had the patience of a 5 year old, was interrupting me trying to speed up the ordering process, and it took 35 minutes to get my sandwich. The sandwich had a single small egg on it, and only one half had cheese and bacon. It was also way too expensive for such a terrible sandwich. It's a pretty decent breakfast spot but it's in no way "the BEST". The bagels are pretty small and the selection of cream cheese is pretty limited. The guy who prepped my bagel didn't even spread the cream cheese out evenly. He kinda just plopped it onto the bagel and called it a day. Make sure you ask for your bagel to be toasted. They do not toast your bagels unless you ask. Also, it's CASH only...which I HATE. I had to run down to the Chase bank my first time here. read more

Even though they're a small place, Harrison Bagels is a real full service deli. I called them about catering a breakfast at the office for about 40 people and they delivered no problem, at a very reasonable price. They supplied chafing racks & sternos for a full spread of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage (pork & turkey), pancakes & french toast! They really came through. Stop by and try them for lunch too. If you're looking for a good, hearty breakfast sandwich and coffee, do yourself a favor and skip DD. Instead, walk across the street and check out this spot. The sandwiches are tasty, freshly prepared, and will certainly hold you down until lunchtime...and beyond. I often get a sausage, egg, & cheese on a bagel and I am never hungry by my usual lunchtime. If you like a little zip on your sandwich, ask them to add a little hot sauce. It's got a little kick and tang but no so much that your mouth is on fire or that the other items are overpowered. Coffee is decent - at worst, it's better than DD's IMHO. There's always a line in here during breakfast (only times I've stopped in) but it moves quickly. The locals in Harrison know something about this place even if they don't review it on Yelp. I think it may be a little gem they'd prefer to keep hidden. Staff are efficient and friendly. Street parking available but maybe a little more challenging during prime hours. read more

Today was my first time at Harrison Bagels, and I will definitely going back! The everything bagel was a little too salty for my liking but it's was soft and fluffy just how I like it. Also, I had Thai bubble tea for the first time and it was yummy and fun! They forgot to make one of the teas we ordered, but the lady at the register gave us some free treats to make up for it, even though my husband and I didn't mind at all! Very busy small bagel shop w/"busy" being a telling sign the food & service are great. I'm pretty picky and distrusting of tuna salad but HB does it right. Fresh tuna salad w/celery and red onion is delicious. Not like the sopping, funky mystery tuna salads often found prepared. Also excellent on a pumpernickel bagel. They have a welcome salad bar that the customer specifies ingredients, type of lettuce, and dressing. Upon request they will chop your salad into grass clippings (lol )..you know what I mean. There are premade fresh fruit cups, brownies, blondies & browndies on display in yo face making them a challenge to ignore. Many people order breakfast sandwiches but I've yet to try one. There are about 5-6 seats @ counter where you can people/dog/car watch. Free parking in front and back of stores. read more

My boyfriend and I have been trying out all of the bagel shops in our area and it's been fun. Harrison bagels had a nice group of people working. We got toasted everything bagels with cream cheese - I got the scallion cream cheese and my boyfriend got the jalepeno. I thought the cream cheese was really good. The bagels were good but didn't have any crunch on the outside, they were super soft. I like my bagels to have a bit of a crunch (H&R Bialy does a great job of this, but has aloof and semi-rude staff). So, it really depends what you like! I also tried the egg salad and it was good, not great. I'd go back here but they aren't my favorite bagel place around Larchmont. read more

Excellent breakfast lunch spot. When I lived in New Rochelle I would drive here on the weekends. Fantastic bagels, crunchy on the outside never need toasting and always warm. Pumpernickel was my favorite. The tofu veggie cream cheese is excellent the best i've had. It actually tastes good and there are real chunks of veggies. I've passed this off a "regular" cream cheese to brunch guests on many occasions no one died or got the runs. Don't fear the tofu folks. The sandwiches are great love the tuna and whitefish. Salads are really good too really fresh greens and many topping choices. The only criticism I have is on the coffee It stinks. Really weak, never hot enough and watery. Tastes more like flavored coffee tea. If you prefer full body coffee you should pass. Other than that everything else is perfect. read more

CLEARLY SYMPTOMATIC EMPLOYEE WEARING FACE SHIELD AROUND CHIN. Walked into store, 3 employees wearing do nothing plastic shields around face. These face coverings are not acceptable by any standards to reduce the transmission of respiratory droplets. Doesn't matter anyway as the employees are wearing them around their chins and necks. And there was an employee in there with an extremely raspy voice, coughing, and clearing his throat every few seconds. Clearly symptomatic with something. Maybe just allergies but I'm not taking any chances. Ownership clearly doesn't take health and safety seriously. read more

I am a little surprised by such high reviews, although I will admit the staff were quick and friendly and the selection was delightful. Bagels themselves though...eh, not chewy enough for me! I like Ess a Bagel in the city and Hand Rolled Bagels in Rye better. A step up from Dunkin Donuts that is for sure though. And sundried tomato cream cheese? I can't say no. Price was decent at about $4.80 for two bagels toasted with cream cheese. I am a Dunkin girl for my (iced) coffee but will pop across the street for a bagel/sundried tomato cream cheese when the craving hits! read more

What can I say, i love the place! Its tiny, cozy, fresh and yummy. Above all service is fantastic! The guys are super fast, friendly and the food never disappoints. The variety of choices for breakfast is endless, the freshly baked bagel selection is vast and the ingredients are always fresh. Not a fan of their coffee but wont complain when there's Dunkin Donuts right across the street. Oh and the tossed salad, that's what really makes me drool every time I step foot into that place! Again very fresh and flavorful ingredients! If need be, will drive every morning from Mamaroneck to Harrison (and there are myriad of places u can get breakfast from around here) just to have some of their breakfast selections. My search for someplace in Westchester than can top the Park Place Bagels chain continues. I'm always surprised to see what people feel constitutes a good bagel. Their bagel has a skin like it should and it's soft on the inside as it should be. However the dough lacks any sort of flavor. Their cream cheese is also incredibly bland. Scallion cream cheese shouldn't be bland. The one bright spot was their croissants filled with cream cheese. It was moist and very tasty yet not overly sweet. Perfectly decent bagels, which is actually saying a lot as the bagel options in these parts seem to be scarce and mostly disappointing. Depressing that this is the only bagel shop in Harrison. Very dry, small, bland bagels. Not many options. Coming from central Jersey, we had SOOOO many amazing options of handmade bagels. I'm not sure if they make their bagels on the premises here but I just get sad that there's no convenient bagel place in town that actually serves good bagels. read more

Excellent food! The bagels are fresh baked, and all of the food is made to order. They have the best iced coffee and passion fruit iced tea! It can be a bit crowded in the morning, but they do their best in facilitating the chaos. Food is fairly priced and is definitely worth it. read more
