Normally I'm not this picky, but this was the first thing I've eaten in about 12 hours after a really long travel day. The staff was polite and the food was served hot. Even with about a 20 min wait, which they did warn us about thankfully, I really have nothing to complain about. I'm only removing one star because after handing us our drinks asked if we would like tarter sauce? We said yes. They then came back to the window and asked if we would like any sauce, we said "yes, tarter sauce." They then handed us our food and confirmed, "you wanted tarter sauce?" We said yes. One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to an absolute disappointment. The drinks finally came out after 20 minutes. They didn't even bring a mug for the A&W root beer. Hit or miss. In general I love Long John's. Their prevalence in America is not like it was in the 90s. This one in Burlington was a splendid find - and it's a combined John John and A&W. A double win! Their fish is a consistent hit. Always dependable. My wife would always love to get the Southwest fish Tacos, but on a recent visit we discovered corporate has decided to cut the portion in half - you no longer get a full fish plank but a measly half of one. Very disappointing and no option to even pay to get the full portion now. What cheap skates. Will I be back? Probably, but not for the fish tacos they make. Might bring my own tortillas and just get fish planks to make my own. Will see. read more

I got in line behind 2 other vehicles at 11 39. Had my order in within 5 minutes. After waiting over 30 minutes the 2 vehicles in front of me finally received their orders. I felt that mine would be up quick so I stayed in line and paid. The guy at the window asked what I had ordered and I told him. The manager gave me a $5 voucher for having to wait. That was at 12:13. I sat there and waited. Finally I had been in line for almost 48 minutes so I called the store and the manager answered. I told her I wanted my food or my money back. She asked where I was and I told her at the window. She said you are not table 16 and I said I am at the window. She came to the window and asked me what my order was and looked it up. She said it had scrolled off her screen and she was sorry. She would box up the meals. She did and she added extra fish. But I did not leave the drive thru line until 12:33. This has had the worst drive through experience we have ever had. It took almost 25 just to take our order then we got to the window got our which was right then the same person that just gave us our food waited 5 mins while still looking at us tried to give us another order in which we were just waiting on our drinks, he had to get a manger just figure out that we just wanted our drinks. Well let's see. It's fried fish shrimp and there is a a&W inside. So you get burgers fish chicken shrimp and most of all root beer floats with in store made root beer. Awesome sauce. Sometimes they are quick. Sometimes not so much. If they take to long they offer you free desert. Double awesome sauce. The girls that work here are really cute. Triple awesome sauce. But it's fast food and it can only get so good. It's clean. Friendly. So it's a all around good place to catch lunch or dinner. read more

Awesome service here! I hate when "fast food" is slow but it happens! Even fast food places have hiccups and get behind but the when you finally get through the drive-thru and up to the window, the smiling face at the window can make or break the experience.
