Randomly discovered this place the other day while having a meetup with several friends. If you come in the evening parking is very easy to find on the adjacent streets. Walking in I immediately noticed it reminded me of Islands or Dukes from the States. It has surfboards all around, focuses on the beach, and is a popular burger joint. I checked in with the hostess and was directed to my friend's table. Menus are already located on each table as well as napkins and condiments. I chose to order the Mona Lisa which had truffle sauce and caramelized onions. Those were the ingredients that led me to my decision. I also ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri as I dint drink alcohol but it sounded delicious. The food came out relatively fast and my burger was delicious! It was far better than I expected. The drink was fantastic as well, however lost one star on the review due to them charging me the same price as if I had gotten it with alcohol. Overall a fun place to go with a group of friends or a very casual date night. It tends to get pretty loud so I wouldnt go here on a date if you want to talk and get to know someone. read more

I am always excited to try a mean burger.  The bigger the better.  The size of the 'mini' phat bastard was ample.  Three patties, cheese, caramelised onions etc.  it was mammoth.   The taste of the was a bit stodgy.  The meat tasted more like mum's old rissoles slapped in a bun with a few slices of cheese from the packet.  No melted heart attack taste sensation. Just bits and pieces constructed into a burger tower.  It makes for a nice picture, but that's all. Service was cafeteria A ok.  Nothing to write home about. read more

I love everything about the Longboards. It just oozes the gold coast to me, from its theme, to its decor, to its music and definitely its food. We walked in and were immediately served by staff which was great. There were photos and paraphernalia of surfing and surfing legends everywhere. It was such a dedication to the laidback feel of the Gold Coast, which is what you want. The burgers in this place were a standout. Big doesn't even cover it. They are ginormous. Great burger, got the special smoky Mac Pot which was brisket, coleslaw and Mac n cheese. Service was good, atmosphere was good, burger was delicious. I didn't rate this place at all good location weird though Ur eating and Ur view is of all these people swimming in the resort pool? My burger was So BAD!!!!!!!! STALE bun??? Like seriously and no taste whatsoever like frozen ALDI actually aldi would have tasted better -i would have loved to send it back and actually got a freshly made one but I'm always to scared they r going to do something gross to the new one.. We were recently holidaying on the Gold Coast and decided to check out this burger bar for dinner one night - it was pretty close to where we were staying, so thought why not? So glad one of us had the foresight to book the week before - the place was pretty packed, as it looked like there was a private event of some sort on. We were seated right next to the pool, a great spot. It was a bit annoying having to go to the bar to order drinks and food, as this was right in front of where the private event was and it was difficult to tell who was in line and who was just standing around. We never had to wait long for drinks though and, once we'd ordered food, it actually came out pretty quickly. I had the Mona Lisa, which had bacon and brie and mushrooms and stuff on it. I really enjoyed it. It looked huge when it first came out, but I didn't find it overly messy or difficult to eat. Everyone else also enjoyed their meals, although I think we were a little ambitious on the chip order (way too many for the number of people we had!). Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely return if I was ever on the Gold Coast again. read more

For a place that markets itself as a 'burger joint' you'd expect the burgers to be totes amaze. They're not. The burgers are definitely good in terms of 'food porn' and I'm sure you'll get a hell of a lot of likes on Insta, but the taste is below par. The meat had no flavour. Very disappointed. Went to the toilet whilst I was waiting to be seated. Please guys get some bleach and clean the grout. Also clean the grime around the sink. It looks like the sink has not been cleaned since it was installed. The service was scant to say the least. I had to get the menus for our table and although someone did come to take our order we had to get our own cutlery. The staff were friendly enough, I think maybe if they had a couple more the place would have seemed a bit more organised. The food was ok for what it was. Had the pig platter. Can't complain but wasn't totally amazing. I was quite hungry by the time it arrived. Over 40 mins- too long with kids. Would be good to have some colouring in sheets or something like that. All in all was food was average toilets disgusting and service although friendly enough was spread thinner than margarine on a piece of toast. read more

Whether you live on the GC or coming for a holiday this NEEDS to be one of your dining places. Booked an hour out with 3 adults and 4 kids and an infant. They made room for us and said they'd place us in a booth that had room so it didn't matter what the baby was carried in. Due to difficulty finding parking as it was long weekend we were 40 minutes late. When we got there, there were groups waiting to be seated but they had kept our table and with having to haul kids around this was SO VERY APPRECIATED!! The staff were pleasant, helpful and wonderful with the kids and not at all bothered by their noise or excitedness. -its a word. Dinner was served well before the 20minute expected time and was amazing!!! I'm salivating just thinking about it. Will definitely be back every time we have guests come for a holiday or before a night on the town. The vibe in this place is casual, fun and beachy. Everything the gold coast is. Great burger bar for a few beers after a day at the beach very laid back and easy going. But being your cash it isn't cheap the prices are in par with a five star hotel. Cheaper eats in twin.but if you are looking for a good burger joint in a laid back location for a few beers on tap and a burger then it's a must do when on the coast or staying at q 1 read more

Very overpriced for what you get. Yes the burgers are large but they will deliberately forget/not put all the ingredients you've paid for on the bun. Pay extra $3.50 to not have the bun......wow!! The burger was very dry, minuscule amount of aoli, probably because it was meant to be truffle. $19.00. Maybe would have been nicer with the blue cheese to keep it moist. Not much of an atmosphere, overlooking hotel pool. Was only give a cursory apology for no cheese, won't go back ever. The Grilled chain is fresher, cheaper and more generous. read more
