They do not teach employees how to be courteous and helpful. So I am canceling my membership…read more I was working out and someone picked up a phone call. I asked very nicely if they could take it in the hall or common area, it's posted as a rule not to talk on the floor. He looked at me like he wanted to kill me and kept talking. Spencer, a trainer, was about 10 feet away. I asked him if he could please tell him to not take a call here. He said he couldn't. He could do it later. I said I don't understand, it would take 3 seconds to ask, you just talked to me longer than that, just ask him please. He said he couldn't, in a way that seemed like teasing, like he was tying to make me feel petty for asking. I went downstairs and complained to the person at the desk. When I went back upstairs Spencer came right up to me and said he asked him and he hung up the phone. It was obvious now he had been teasing me, because he came right up to me to try to patch it over. No one likes to be ridiculed. This is the first time something like this happened. There is a man there who stares at people. A few weeks ago he walked up to me and yelled in my face when I asked him not to stare at me. I told him to please move away from me, he didn't. I mentioned it to the spikey haired guy at the desk who said "Oh ya, he's does that a lot, I know exactly who you're talking about." Nothing has been done, and this guy continues to roam around there looking to pick a fight. They need to take care of members. Something is wrong here. I'm leaving. It's their job to enforce rules, members shouldn't have to beg them.

I was told that they had no staff available to give me a tour, however there were 2 staff at the desk. Additionally the staff at the front desk were very condescending, disrespectful and uncooperative. When we entered she seemed very annoyed. Overall I felt as though this experience was underwhelming and I was left dissatisfied.

Here's the deal with this place. First, for adults: great for round robins and for practice. The…read morequality of the teaching, to the extent there is any, varies A LOT by coach, and coaches change ALL THE TIME, like literally every session sometimes, and certainly every season, because almost no one seems to last long in this place as a coach. There's a bit more coaching in their beginners classes, but still not very much. Second, for kids: Tommi, the only coach who has been there forever now, is beloved by all kids. He's an awesome person. But, like with adults, don't expect any serious coaching. Once your kid is sort of hitting the ball, they'll just let them play with their mistakes, with very rare corrections from afar. It's really just practice. The ratios don't allow for any real teaching of kids, and it seems the culture has evolved to not even try, or at least not try very hard. Our child only began to make progress once we got them privates elsewhere (we tried privates there - they again felt more like practice than actual teaching - again probably a culture thing by now - although it might have also been that coach - as I said - the coaches keep changing). So, sure, it's fun and convenient for practice, but for actual learning and development of skills if you're serious about your kid learning tennis, you'll need to go elsewhere. Netresults is just a convenient supplement. Now, if all you want is for your kid to have a clue about tennis, run around for a bit and have a fun class with lots of games, and don't really consider tennis a primary sport for them, then it's perfect and convenient if you live in the area. They also have a great rescheduling policy, which most other tennis places do not have.

All the instructors and other players have been nice, fun people. I've learned a lot, gotten exercise, and most importantly found new people to play tennis with.
