We started with a traditional ceasar salad which was tasty. We then progressed to their Filet Diane, a peppercorn crusted filet topped with mushrooms . For the sides they provided their ginger honey glazed carrots and mashed potatoes which featured a lemon oregano vinaigrette. The carrots were tender and sweet and made a great flavor offset to the beef and the lemon addition (something I would never think to do) provided a delicious and unique twist to the potatoes. The team working the event was prompt in their attention to detail and removing and setting new plates in between courses and were able to do so without disrupting the flow of the event. If you're looking for a caterer for your events you should definitely give them a try!

She really made sure we were going to get what we wanted on my big day. i'm not sure if everything went South when someone else took over (she was out sick). But to spend over 10 grand for a catering experience and have a turn out the way it did is absolutely not acceptable. And it was far from delicious. During our tastings everything was wonderful. We came to the decision of chicken piccata.. when it was served to us it was breaded with plenty of sauce and just perfectly tender chicken. I was super confident that they would be able to deliver that same quality of food for my wedding day. They were on time and professional but the quality of the food was nowhere near what we tasted. A few of my uncles said they couldn't cut their chicken with a knife.. and therefore did not eat. My mother-in-law was super intent on having coffee served so we got the add on of the coffee service. No one was offered coffee, when she asked for a cup it was delivered to her with no creamer, sugar nor a spoon. My chicken was fairly tough as well. I never got a salad which really would've helped me on my day to have something to eat since the chicken was not very good.

Of course our experience only improved once we arrived. The location was simply breathtaking. Surrounded by lots greenery, the scenery was more than perfect for the warm and romantic wedding my fiancé and I had envisioned. As someone who had originally planned to have a ceremony outside, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I fell in love with the storybook chapel. Its elegant and timeless design truly stole my heart, and I gotta say I'm a sucker for the bell. Throughout the tour the staff went above and beyond to answer all of the many many many questions I had and laid out all the possibilities for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. In the main dining hall various dinner table seating samples were arranged, which was a great way to help us to visualize different decor directions we could go in. At the end of the tour we sat down and discussed the menu and bar options and were even given a few samples while we chatted. (Every bite was delicious btw) While we were encouraged to picture our big day at their venue a couple times throughout the tour, I loved that I never once felt rushed or pressured to make any huge decisions right then and there. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. Right before our wedding, our coordinator was replaced, which led to confusion over prices and our chosen menu. We met with the new coordinator and the owner, who assured us everything would be honored as agreed. (A meeting we requested) However, on the wedding day, tours of the venue were happening during our private, paid time. The new coordinator was noticeably rude to some of our guests and to our family member who was working security -- who happens to be a police officer. When dinner was served, it wasn't what we had selected. Our coordinator was made aware and to this day we have not received even an apology. Communication leading up to and during the wedding was inconsistent and frustrating. Additionally, the taxes and extra fees increased the total cost enough that the venue was no longer as affordable as advertised, which felt deceptive. Spinelli's has so much potential -- the space itself is stunning -- but our experience was overshadowed by poor communication, last-minute changes, and unprofessional behavior.

We had gone back and forth with Fritz about changing our vegetable to asparagus which they informed us would be an up-charge. No problem, we signed up. The day of the wedding, they only had enough asparagus for about half of our guests so they were left with no green/color on their plate. Fritz offered to pay us back for the 75 guests that did not get asparagus, but in my opinion they should pay us back for the whole up-charge fee. Running out of food should never happen. Also, we paid to have them take care of the bar at our wedding. At one point, I walked over to discover they had run out of ice and someone was having to go get more. Again...shouldn't happen. The pros are that the staff that was at the wedding were very nice, but I would probably go with another company if I had to do it all again. The food is such an important part of the wedding and there's no reason to be running out of anything.

They have tons of table linens and work with you to create centerpieces to your taste. The caterer they use has several menu choices and all our guests commented on how much they liked the food. Also, we went with many of their recommendations (such as florist and cake baker) and couldn't be happier. After my new husband and I left for the night, they boxed everything up for our family to take home in almost no time. I would absolutely recommend the Spring Hill Event Center to anyone looking for a wedding venue. You won't be disappointed!

The 5-course meal consisted of a wild mushroom bruschetta, beef carpaccio, winter salad, filet with bearnaise with roasted brussels sprouts and a delicious potato Coquilles St Jacques dish as sides, ending with a chocolate mousse parfait topped with whipped cream, raspberries and mint garnish.  He also brought two bottles of wine (Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc). This meal was absolutely delish, and the dessert was amazing! We really appreciate them going above and beyond to make things right.
