We started the planning process back in 2018 and because of covid, we had to delay the actual event. Over the last three years, Hasmik stayed in contact and remained flexible with our date given the pandemic. It sounds cliche, but we really could not have asked for a better planning partner who listened to every detail about what we wanted for the big day. We were able to host a tea ceremony before the wedding and Hasmik made sure that it was a separate, but wonderful decorated space. It came out beautifully. We were also able to have our beloved pets, Teddy and Daisy, by our side almost the entire day. We were able to tuck them away in a room when it was dancing party time. Throughout the actual event day, she assured us that she would take care of everything so that we could focus on HAVING FUN. we did just that. Oh by the way, their food was out of this world! How many wedding have you been to where you can say that? Every single one of our guests commented on how amazing the food was. The breakfast was made to order. Meat lover omelette was really good, however the Coffee was not. Staff were really friendly and they obviously to make their property the best they can. I was here on a Friday night to Saturday morning. Hotel seemed busy.

I got my two bags, carry bag and cooler down the first flight. She saw me huffing and puffing down the second set and asked me if I needed help. I was very appreciative of her help. Despite my own personal issues, the price is great, there is a ton of charm you won't find at any chain, and the breakfast is probably good (smelled good). If you don't mind stairs and don't need a firm mattress, you will have a good stay.

They said apologies and building is old and plumbing is old we will have some noises. Really ? Is there safety issues ?You should address this issues when I was booking over the phone. Anyway overpriced not worth at all. I do not recommend this place at all.

A great array of books in the room and downstairs in the parlor, Shel Silverstein, George Orwell... The Historic Benner Mansion built in 1914 has been restored in all its proverbial glory. Comfortable warm and cozy. We stayed overnight on a rainy cold February night and the home was perfectly temperature-controlled, we were even able to go downstairs to the dining area for a midnight snack in our socks, that's how warm the beautiful original wood floors are throughout the two floors we inhabited. We stayed on the second floor in General Trexler's Quarters, a beautiful large, well-lit (windows all around with lamps and a candle) corner room with a separate dressing room and it's own large private bathroom with bathtub/shower. The four poster bed was comfort-beyond, the two teal upholstered seats in front of the television are comfy and great for reading, sipping tea &/or watching black & white Westerns on the tv. The roll-top desk in the bedroom was owned by General Trexler himself! We brought tea up to the room and read books and napped before heading out to a gig in Bethlehem. Breakfast is included, eggs & bacon, in the morning. Plus English muffins and jams, coffees and teas from a Keurig and hot and cold cereals are avail 24/7 in the dining room for your snacking pleasure. We will be back!

This being the first shower I had planned myself it was a great comfort to have Sam be there every step of the way; she was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process. We were able to meet beforehand to plan the floor layout as well as the itinerary. With Sam's permission we were able to drop off decorations earlier in the week and arrived early Saturday morning to decorate. On the day of the shower the mansion looked absolutely spectacular; candles lit and flowers in all the right places. We made use of the piano on the first floor and had a pianist play during the shower. Guests continually asked us how we found just a gem! The Benner Mansion was lovingly restored by the Bennett family and is a beautiful building full of history and architecture; Sam knows every inch of the place and the story behind it. We jumped on the opportunity to book the entire mansion, and 5 of us were able spend the night after the shower. What a treat! I booked a dinner reservation for us at Union and Finch, which was within 2 blocks walking distance. When we returned from dinner we found the mansion was toasty warm despite the cold temperatures outside and we enjoyed libations late into the night. When we retired to our respective bedrooms, we found they were wonderfully turned down and the beds were waiting for us to climb right in. The next morning we had eggs and bacon for breakfast, along with coffee, and toasted English muffins. We all slept comfortably through the night and remarked how insulating the mansion was despite being in a city landscape. I had a wonderful experience working with Sam that will go beyond a business relationship. We are now family :)

They catered the lunch food/menu but the bridal party brought in desserts and set it all up how they preferred to. Everything was on one floor (street level) so no steps and also no steps into the bathrooms (just a long carpeted ramp). The shower was beautiful and the food was good!

I suppose if it was raining they would have moved the ceremony to the outside covered area, but we were lucky with great weather. The only awkward distraction during the ceremony was somebody taking shooting practice out in the distance which echoed in the air. The facility is a beautiful old three-story building. There's a little waterfall running along side it, and some cute Pennsylvania charm. The ground level has a beer wall which includes multiple taps and you sign out a little fob that allows you to keep track of what you ordered. Upstairs in the main level is perfect for small weddings probably no more than 75 people. We had a lot of room in the middle so we could dance. There's a mezzanine above it with more seating areas. I believe they are open regularly for the beer wall, and in fact there were some locals there. But the rest of the place was not like a typical restaurant. It must just be private events. For accessibility, was a golf cart used to take some folks from the grass up to the top floor through the parking lot. because I was at a wedding, the food was through a private caterer. But they had their own beer and a couple wines on the wall downstairs that are there all the time and that was pretty popular. The staff was very nice.

Hot continental breakfast in the morning with a wide array of HOT options--did not feel like the standard hotel breakfast with some random danishes slapped on a table for the taking.
