I used Look Out Marine to broker my boat. While in their care, a brand new windshield disappeared. Broom sticks were used instead of the boat poles to support the mooring cover resulting in two large holes in the cover allowing rain to fill the ski well, significant mold to accumulate on the carpet and damage to the passenger seat from excessive rain accumulating on the cover. When speaking to Jim Bob the owner, his response was "I never touched your boat". I ended up having to replace both the mooring cover for $2,600.00 and $325.00 for a new windshield and hours spent cleaning up the mold. When I asked to be reimbursed for the cover and windshield, Jim Bob hung up on me saying "I don't owe you anything." If you're considering brokering your boat, DO NOT use Look Out Marine!! read more

We rented a boat through Safe Harbor this weekend. For Friday and Saturday we spent a little over…read more$1000. The process of getting the boats went smoothly and the loading and unloading was decent when it wasn't crowded. Our biggest complaint was the condition of the boats that they are renting. The boats themselves are nice but they do not seem to be taken care of very well. I've attached pictures of the molded seats and the poor duct tape jobs to cover the gashes in the seats. Paying such a high price point for 2 days, we were expecting a cleaner boat. Would have also been nice to have an anchor included with the boat.

The appliances seriously needed to be updated as they all didn't work properly. Flooring and walls also needed updated and painted as both places had an awful smell. The worst part was that the second story unit's AC didn't work well. Many rooms had a higher temperature than outside. All the beds felt like a sheet of plywood and The linens were as cheap as you can get. I would suggest that they replace all the beds to higher quality ones and purchase higher-quality linens. For over $900 for 3 nights this was horrible and we felt we were ripped off. The overall quality could be compared to a dirty roach motel in the woods. The environment around the lake is so beautiful, so you would think they would have higher standards. This proved to be wrong.
