The Boathouse Restaurant @ Conley Bottom Resort. Very disappointed! This was our 1st & last visit to this restaurant. Our waitress was friendly but not attentive at all. After a young boy delivered our meals (minus our salad) to the wrong table then brought them over to us...a few minutes later our waitress came up and said "here's your salad", then walked away! She never returned to ask about our meals, until she brought our check. The food...my sirloin was ordered as medium but arrived nearly rare. The Mac & Cheese was watery and had no flavor. The baked potato was ordered with extra butter but definitely did not have it. We also ordered a ribeye steak (that costs $34) that was extremely fatty. 7/16/2026: Prices on the Boathouse @ Conley Bottom website are not updated. I.e. the sirloin is listed on the website menu as $22.99 but in the restaurant it is $24..99. Would not recommend!! read more

Poor service and terrible, overpriced food. We waited nearly one hour for our food in a practically empty restaurant. While waiting, we drank all our waters/tea and no one came by to refill until right before our food came. Once our food arrived it was COLD! Every bit of it-Mac and cheese, pulled pork and chicken in the sandwiches, chicken tenders and then there was the undercooked, cold baked potato. It's been a long time since I've had to pay for such a crappy meal and terrible service. Won't be back. read more

Beautiful well maintained houseboats. The boat was clean, windows/doors had screens to be able to enjoy a cool evening listening to the water. Easy on and off the water. The staff is super friendly and greats you each time you walk into the marina. Deck hands were super nice and helpful as well. Family atmosphere. Boat check out was smooth, efficient, and service personnel were on hand to assist with unloading. We will definitely book our next houseboat trip through Conley Bottom. The new restaurant had delicious food as well! Enjoyed the live summer concert series as from the pier. read more

My family rented a pontoon from here for a day while on vacation in Lake Cumberland. The process to rent was smooth, the price was reasonable, and the staff were very helpful. The boat was clean and worked great. This experience was such a contrast to Lee's Ford which we rented from last time we were here and had a terrible experience. Conley Bottom also had a shop, casual food, and restaurant which were also enjoyable. They've obviously been doing renovations on the place and it looks great! read more

went to eat dinner at the boathouse restaurant and it flat out sucked. once we got into the restaurant, we waited over 30 minutes to get a table. then it took over two hours to get our food. I think that they didn't put our orders in. it took several complaints for our orders to arrive. I would have gotten better food from McDonald's than eating the store bought frozen hamburger that I was served. They did give me a couple of fries with it too for $20.00. don't waste your time or money on anything from this dump. read more

Not half bad for marina food. (Way better than Burnside, not as good as Lees Ford) I liked my taco salad (though so thought I was ordering a slightly more healthy option and it was covered in nacho cheese). Motz sticks were good. Onion rings were even better. Quaint spot to eat - the outside area is right on dock (picnic benches). Service was a little slow - but after all, it is lake life! read more

My family and I usually make an annual trip to Conley Bottom. We rent a pontoon from the marina and have a great day or two on the water. This year I rented a motel room too. It was very clean and perfect. It had a balcony overlooking the water with a glider chair. This morning I got to drink my coffee and listen to the birds and see the light changing colors on the lake. The employees were kind and helpful. They provide my family with great memories year after year. ! read more

Just don't. Our family of 6 waited over 2 hours before we received our food. The manager immediately placed blame and judgement on the wait staff instead of owning the issue. Then he told us he gave a great discount on our bill and only took $30 off. read more

We stayed here for raft up 2018 and had a great time. The place was jam packed with RVs, tents, and boats but everyone was super friendly and helpful. Despite the crowd, the maintenance crew kept the bathrooms stocked and showers clean. I will definitely stay again but probably on the off season when you can enjoy your space. read more

The staff here is not family friendly. Lots of them use harsh words words to one another in front of customers. There is zero communication concerning policies. Not worth the trip at all. The facilities are run down, and unorganized. Will never be back. Waste of time and money! read more

My brother and his wife's family spent 5 days at Conley Bottom with toddlers up to teens. I spent an evening visiting while they were in town and we enjoyed an evening on the lake. The pontoon boat was a comfortable way to cruise, although I would advise EXTRA time if you intend to grill supper on the boat...I'm sure the regulators are there for people who may not camp often, but it shouldn't take 45 minutes to cook brats :-p They stayed in the "motel" style cottage which had a nice view of the sunset on the lake. Everything was well-kept and clean. And, they managed to catch a few fish during their stay! A very easy, scenic drive from the Nashville area, I'd definitely consider spending a weekend here! read more

This marina is great.. everything u need and the friendliest of staff. We have been to/gas' d up at many other marinas but the service you get here is top notch. We have a slip so our boat is kept here and when we had trouble with our batteries the guy charged them up and overlooked our boat for any potential problems. Never expected anything in return and gave us some great advice. They offer boat rentals too.. from runabouts to house boats, they have what you need. Even if you don't keep your boat here, come check out the gift shop/store or eat at the lighthouse cafe. After dinner grab a soft serve cone- they are delicious! read more

We're not "residents" of Conley Bottom but this is a favorite place for us to stop while out on east end of the lake. Their store is great and we love being able to pull our boat up and eat right there on the dock next to it. We've found their gas is usually about 20 cents cheaper than Lee's Ford.... their premium is generally priced the same as the regular at Lee's Ford. read more

Always a good time. While I've never actually stayed at the resort I've come down here quite a few times over the years and it's always been pleasant. Today was the first time we rented a boat with them. We called everywhere: Jamestown marina, state dock, we called all the docks at Herrington lake and lake laurel and Taylorsville. Taylorsville only had a single pontoon left while Conley bottom had a single pontoon, double decker, ski boat, deck boat, jetskis etc. I opted for the ski boat considering we've been thinking about getting one. It was $350 plus tax making it $387 after. From there you could be responsible for a $350 additional safety deposit if the boat wasn't delivered back as it was given or delivered back on time. The rental was from 8-6 while the pontoon would have been 8-7. I strongly suggest taking pics of every little issue with the boat you rent so you're not responsible for it in the aftermath. Would definitely do it again. Made for a great 4th of July. read more

While I agree that this is the most convenient marina on Lake Cumberland and it does offer just about anything you would need for a day on or off of the water, I was really disappointed in the quality and price of everything they had to offer. Camping: $29.00 a night is a bit high priced for sleeping outdoors, but it's down right ridiculous when your campsite is situated on a hillside and covered in rocks- no grass any where! This makes for a very uncomfortable night of sleeping when you feel like you will roll down the hill into the lake if you turn over to get the pebbles out of your back. To top it off the RV's are tightly packed into and camped along side of tent campers which makes you feel like you are sleeping in a trailer park. Also, there's nothing like waking up to the smell of an RV dumping it's human waste. Our campsite was littered with trash from the previous campers which we had to clean up when we arrived and checked in. Very unpleasant camping experience. Marina Restaurant: The staff at the marina are so friendly that I hate to have to write this review, but I feel that I must share my experience. We had dinner at the marina restaurant on a Saturday evening. I expected the joint to be packed and the staff to be busy, so I was surprised at how quick we received service. The downside to the quick service was the horrible food presentation. I ordered the grilled cheese w/ fries basket and a side salad. The salad was $3.99 and was a small bed of lettuce with two tomato halves. It was equivalent to a tea cup portion and the honey mustard dressing was two teaspoonful. The basket was $7.99 and the grilled cheese came out cold. It looked as if the bread was toasted, a piece of cheese straight from the plastic wrapper put between it, and then microwaved for 15 seconds. Add a $3.00 soda to my meal and my bill came up to $15. It was beyond disappointing. We had five people in our group and everyone's food came out at different times and most was cold, including the cheese sticks. In total we spent $115.00 for a meal that consisted of cheese sticks, French fries, chicken tenders, and grilled cheese!!!! Last but not least, our server never removed any of the finished platters from our table during our meal, so we spent our time swatting away flies and other insects from our main courses. I came to Conley Bottoms because I was told it was a family friendly happening place on Lake Cumberland, but I left sadly disappointed and with a major dent in my wallet. I'm not a tight wad by any means, but I expect good quality when I pay high price for goods. I feel like this resort gauges its patrons in a way that exceeds profit. I expect a family friendly environment to take family budgets into consideration as well or at the very least offer better quality. read more

This is the best marina to go to in lake cumberland hands down no questions asked! I've been coming down to lake cumberland since I was a baby and since I can't remember we've been going to Conley bottom. The people who work there are so friendly and helpful the owner is always wandering around asking how people are doing. They have a restaurant with good food and ice cream at the marina, plenty of boat docks, and a general store with all the things you could possibly need you can't go wrong! read more

This marina is where my in-laws dock their boat, so it's where we go when we come down to Lake Cumberland. This marina has a restaurant and shop where you can buy clothes, food, etc. They also sell ice cream and are pretty crowded in the summer with folks wanting their ice cream fix. There are also camp grounds here that folks use, although I've never done the camping thing. read more

Lack of respect for rules! 90% of campers cannot enjoy themselves because 10% will not follow the rules and they are not enforced! I was so tired of the golf cart "parades" even though signs are posted everywhere saying none are allowed. Loud cursing, loud music, loud everything... I understand, people come to the lake to get away and relax. However, a lot of people bring their kids too. Drinking, cursing and golf carts swarming is not the camping experience we were looking for for our family. I feel bad for the people who have permanent spots here and deal with it more than a week/weekend at a time! I came here years ago and it wasn't like this. I don't think the owner has changed, maybe priorities have...I'd rather have fewer people and a DECENT class of people than what I saw. The staff wasn't as nice this trip either. I know they're under a lot of stress with all that's happened this year, but running people off by treating them rudely is not going to help anything. Perhaps people are still coming to support you during this time of hardship? We didn't expect things to be the way they were, we knew amenities would not be available, but we came anyway...and we were aggravated by rude campers, received mixed answers about simple questions from staff and did not feel appreciated at all.
