I was in the area and I knew he could help with the very bad muscle strain in my back. The one think I know for sure, is that Kan will reduce my pain by 50 per cent the first time around. That has been my experience. Yesterday was no exception to the rule. Kan goes above and beyond to help his patients. He is very caring, compassionate, professional, and trustworthy. I recommend Kan very highly for many ailments that may be causing anyone unnecessary pain and discomfort. He also has some great herbal formulations that has helped me throughout the 8 years that I've been going to see him. Kan works fervently during the acupuncture session to ensure that he's doing everything within his power to alleviate my pain. He also uses moxa and cupping to help in the process. In one treatment, most of my range of motion was back. I did another 10-12 treatments to relieve "stuck blood," and five years later, I haven't had another problem. The other was for the back of my knees and the Baker's cyst in one - as well as IT band problems. Her treatments - although less fun than, say, a day at Disney - have been extremely effective. If you're open to acupuncture, you should try her.

While Dr. Hai seems to know what she is doing, there are two things that are very disturbing…read more First, she reuses the blankets to cover her patients WITHOUT washing them. I have seen her refold them and put them away after using them on me. This is so unsanitary, even if it just covering the patients clothes. Who knows where they have been or what is on their clothes? It made my skin crawl. Second, she reuses any medical tape that she needs to hold needles or wires in place - tape that has been on a patient's skin! She takes the tape off and sticks it to a can in the cabinet. Then she takes it off that can and uses it over again. How gross and how cheap. Use new tape for each patient and stop reusing the blankets! Both issues are a major turn-off.
