This is the ONLY dentist she had ever been to. So we had been going here since she was 5 6 years old, she just turned 10... So over 5 years span 2 "missed" appointments. With that I was told if she needed to be seen I could call and if they have a cancellation That Day they would allow her to be seen...? Oh and after my inquiry of this and speaking to Mr Bozic, as my daughter and I walked out the staff laughed. We had great experiences with this dentistry outside of this situation. I sat in my car crying after this whole ordeal and yet here I am in need of her being seen and I simply want to know, am I to call daily once y'all open back up?

I decided to write a review because I have been reading nasty reviews (probably deserved) of other…read moredental offices in town, and I thought it might be nice to write a good review for a dental practice that definitely deserves it. I have been going to Dr Ortman since I moved to Lafayette in 2008 (I'm writing this in 2015). His staff has always been knowledgeable and friendly, and the dental hygienists are very good at what they do. Getting my teeth cleaned is not my favorite way to spend an hour, but they make it as pleasant as possible. The last hygienist I saw was Kirsten, and she was friendly, gentle, and even made me laugh a few times. There is a new dentist there, Nathan Webster, and not only is he a good dentist and explained everything clearly to me, but he's also easy on the eyes. Mmmm hmmm. Anyway, since my insurance is through Purdue (for grad students) and it's total crap, I had to pay out of pocket, about $245 for x-rays, exam, and cleaning. While that's not cheap for me at all, it's still better than going to the two places that are covered under my insurance, both of which magically see cavities that you don't have and run exorbitant, unnecessary treatments such as "deep cleaning" and "mouth cancer screen". After getting several referrals from co-workers for Dr. Snyder, I made an appointment. She is one of the top dentists I've ever been to. Her and her staff are friendly and professional. I have visited her office three times now (guess what...still no cavities!), and have zero complaints. She's about the friendliest person you'll ever meet too. My services always go smoothly. Her office is clean and modern, equipped with all top dental equipment. On my most recent visit, the office had to reschedule my appointment at the last minute. Most medical offices will penalize a patient if they do this yet do it themselves freely. Not Dr. Snyder's office. I received a gift card for the inconvenience of the last minute rescheduling. I sincerely appreciated this accountability and gesture. Even though Dr. Snyder is out of network for me and I have to pay in full up front and wait for insurance to reimburse me, going to a friendly and ethical dental office is worth it. I recommend her to everyone I know.

The dental assistant was very nice but they could not get their equipment working during my son's visit. They ended up having to use three different x-ray guns and even then they were having trouble transmitting them to the computer. For…read moreexample, there are some pediatric dentists who advise sedation, crowns and root canals for cavities in baby teeth. Dr. Rose is quite the opposite. He does not use sedation. Instead, he works quickly using positive reinforcement to get the job done. His philosophy for baby teeth is to try a filling first before costlier treatments. He did an amazing job putting in a filling for our very anxious squirmy child. He's patient and kind and helps work through anxiety rather than mask it with sedation. He has amazing hygienists who are pros at dealing with uncooperative kids. We were very pleased with our experience and will be back.

He was willing to answer any of my questions without any impatience on his part. His delivery of pain injections was excellent. He first numbs the area to be injected. Which I know is standard. But he was also willing to give me some gas to take the edge off even more. He always told me in advance what to expect during the procedure. This morning I feel great. Minimal soreness (despite stitches for both teeth), nothing the pain meds he prescribed or Motrin/Tylenol can't handle. I have no concerns about my mouth healing up. Also, a very friendly member of his staff called me this morning just to see how things are going. Told me to call if I have any needs. I highly recommend Dr. Bagnoli.
