I bought a great condition pre worn Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Panda in Florida a few months ago and it had a very small scratch on the bezel I wanted it to be polished out and a screw had fallen out from the band to the watch. I had about a 30min conversation with the owner to please be careful with my watch and if they didn't feel comfortable working on an $18,000 watch to please not do it. He promised me it would be fine. I was out of town and had my girlfriend pick up the watch when it was done, I was so excited to see how it came out that I had her send me pictures of it from the parking lot. When I saw the pictures my heart sunk, the watch was scratched all over the bezel and the rubber pushers had been completely shaven off. I was out of town and so upset I didn't go back in to show them for about 3 weeks. When I did show them the time stamped photos from my iPhone that proved they destroyed my watch they instantly said they didn't do it. I took the watch somewhere else to get it polished again and the rubber pushers replaced. The rubber pushers cost $1,800 and the polish another $300. $2100 in damage to my AP. Also the screw that they replaced is steel and already rusting. After not admitting that they did any damage to my watch, they offered to refund me $150. If your a watch guy in St. Louis, please go somewhere else, these guys don't stand behind their work, I wouldn't let them clean my old Nike's. read more
