State Farm really had the nerve to quote us a price, send all the policy documents like everything was fine, and then hit us with a bill that's over $100 higher. No warning. No explanation. Nothing. We had to call THEM to find out their own employee screwed up -- and instead of fixing THEIR mistake, they basically shrugged and said there's "nothing they can do." Meanwhile we have our homeowners insurance, umbrella, and multiple vehicles with them. Years of loyalty. Thousands of dollars. And this is the disrespect we get? If a company can't honor their own quote, after we agreed and signed based on THEIR numbers, that's not an accident. That's garbage business. And it says everything about how they treat their customers. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

I have had the pleasure the last few weeks of dealing with Tyler Perez at Lorena Villa's State Farm office. It had to do with a claim for roof damage and honestly while the claim process dealing with the State Farm claim department has not been a pleasant experience, I have been most impressed by Tyler's professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine concern. I doubt the matter will be resolved to my ultimate satisfaction but not due to Ms. Perez's efforts. She tracked down the person who I had to deal with in the claim department and followed up to make sure the person had responded. As I told her just this morning, she is a valuable asset to her organization. I only wish the State Farm claim department was as kind and polite. read more
