The reason I even needed Josh in the first place because the slate above my front window was cracked due to age and water had started making it's way through the crack and into our home(splashing alongside the window sill. Josh not only thoroughly walked me through his observations based on the pictures I sent him, he gave me a myriad of options for fix both long-term and short-term in which could get us back on the right foot with this leak. I opted for a bit of a middle ground approach, both sealing the crack with cement, and caulking the supporting windows to try and seal off as much as that water as possible. Not only did Josh come out, but his pricing for his level of expertise and knowledge was extremely reasonable and fair. I like to watch the work being done so I get an understanding of the process and try to learn a thing or two along the way and Josh not only didn't have an issue with this, he went above and beyond to try to incorporate me in the fixing as much as possible so I knew the reason for his decisions and what to avoid if I ever decided to brave the next project by myself (I will not be, Josh will be my go-to guy for this lol). If you are on the fence about masonry work and live in the Philadelphia (and surrounding area) do not hesitate to give Josh a call. Warren was on-site working every day on our renovation for at least two months. During that time, he put up crown moulding, installed wainscoting, installed a custom-built cherry dressing room, a panelled powder room and, most complicated of all, a custom-built and very complicated mahogany library. Warren is careful and thoughtful in his work. Very often he will suggest alternative ways to accomplish your project that are better than what you thought was possible. He is helpful to all other workers in the vicinity, always quick to lend a hand or a suggestion to someone who needs help. In a house full of workmen, Warren quickly became the go-to guy everyone would ask for advice or assistance, because he was clearly the best, most talented workman in the house. But beyond this, Warren is simply a really nice guy. He is a pleasure to have around. Very easy going with a gentle sense of humor, and respectful and sensitive to what you say (and what you don't say). If we could have done the entire renovation using only Warren, we would have, happily. Of course, that wouldn't have been possible, but if there was anything we could have Warren do, he was always the first one we asked. As with any renovation, we had problems that various people caused us. A lot of the custom wood pieces that Kane delivered to us were cut wrong or didn't work for whatever reason. Long after I stopped speaking to some of these people, Warren maintained a cordial relationship with them and extracted the maximum amount of help he could in order to keep the project moving along. I could go on at length, but suffice it to say Warren is a solid human being, an extraordinarily talented finish carpenter, and a positive, unifying force with his co-workers. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you have carpentry work that needs to be done right the first time, no matter how difficult, this is the man to call.

Warren Yeager never arrived, he never even called, left messages etc. Not only did he inconvenience us by causing us to leave church early, he also caused us to prolong our search for a reputable contractor. I have found that, a persons "word" is a great indicator of ones integrity, work ethic etc. I guess i'm glad we learned of his character this way, instead of in such a way as; not completing the job, or doing a shoddy job, or mishandling our project. His work looks good on his website, but then again so does most contractors. We as consumers try to make wise decisions, - and I as a grad of the University of Penn like to think I have a fighting chance of doing so- but it is becoming increasingly difficult to do so as businesses have the advantage of spending heavily on "marketing" in order to present themselves in the best light. We try to search for reviews, however, that too can be deceptive as businesses themselves can post their own favorable remarks about themselves. In the end, we do our best by checking licenses, and try to get a feel for the people we are dealing with. Mr. Yeager has shown the propensity to be dishonest at worst, and disorganized at best. I hope this review will help any subsequent potential customers in going fourth in the arduous task of hiring the right contractor.

After mopping up the mess from the rain the night before, I call Aronson Roofing and siding and they immediately came out and secured the skylight with a tarp so I could enjoy my vacation. The then came out to replace multiple skylights and give me a new roof within a week of the leak. Such service is phenonmenal and much appreciated. Avi subssequently came to the rescue to replace the ventilating facing that blue off years later in a wicked wind storm. I am calling him for a third job hoping to end a visit from a pesky squirrel or any of his buddies once I have him reintroduced to a new environment when we catch him in a have a heart trap. He had installed a dryer vent while installing the dryer the elbow fell out in my hand. I had to look up the vent code and had the wall opend he had installed the vent with screws against code. I sent him the code via email and it was ignored affter further inspection i found he had used exessive fittings to vent the dryer. When pesented with this he asked me to tell him how to install the vent. He also tried to fix a granite mis measurement with grout and a sharpie marker . He has since disappered and left the dumpster over flowing in my yard. I called the company and of course his account is frozen due to non payment so i am stuck with it. He works under Landmark Remodleing, mid atlantic remodeling and domus kitichens if you see any of these companies do not use they are dangeous and total hacks!!!

RJE Review I can't…read moresay enough about my experience with RJE. I sustained some storm damage back in June 2020 when a tree fell in my backyard pulling down the power lines. The power lines pulled the siding off of the back of my house and caused damage to the roof and interior wall(s). The fallen tree also caused damage to my shed, gate and a chainlink fence. I chose RJE Home Remodelong over another company mainly due to proximity as I had no previous knowledge of them. l feel like I definitely made the right choice under the circumstances. I sat down with Anthony(Estimator) and Chris(Project Manager) after having some initial conversations with Christin(Office Manager). Anthony oversaw the estimates and was very thorough. Surveying my entire house, inside and out from rooftop to the ground. I had some initial delays because of some insurance company red tape but once work started it was smooth sailing. The scope of work was determined, timeline established then the job was executed starting with a new roof. Chris oversaw the actual work. He had great communication, always kept me updated, made great recommendations and everyone always showed up on time and their respective jobs were done with a high degree of skill and in a timely manner. Total job(new roof, new siding, 2 tree removals, paint interior walls and replace chainlink fence) took about a month to complete and I was very happy with the finished product. I would highly recommend RJE and actually have. Great communication, great service, good people and quality work.
