I've only seen him once, but OMGosh, I just love Dr. Roth and his staff!!…read more I was able to get an appointment to be seen two weeks out from when I called, which is when I needed the appointment; although, they actually had a same day appointment the day I called, It's amazing to be able to get an appointment with a doctor so quickly now-a-days. His office is nice, warm, and comfortable. It didn't feel like your usual "cold" doctor's office. Dr. Roth came in the room and was so gentle and very thorough. He explained exactly what was wrong in terms I could understand. He patiently answered all my questions. His suggested treatment was a Cortisone shot in my foot and wen he did it, I didn't feel a thing. It also worked. It's now been several days and I've had no more pain in my foot. He did say it would eventually wear off and I would need another shot, but I am happy to see Dr. Roth again. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Roth if you are in need of a podiatrist! Also, when checking out, don't miss the display of one of Shaquille O'Neil's shoe (size 23.. WOW!). It's mind-blowing! It was acquired from Shaq himself as Dr. Ruth's wife use to treat him. My son even loves him and what kid likes doctors. The staff there is great too. Everyone is so nice. They are very accommodating. I broke my foot on Mother's Day and they got me in the next morning. I was able to find this office via my insurance website and booking my appointment online was easy. I appreciated the reminders - via email and text - prior to my appointment. The office itself is in a lovely old building in Lake Mary that also houses a Quest Diagnostics. Modern Foot & Ankle is on the 2nd floor and there are restrooms in the hallways (please remember to clean up after yourself). Check-in via computer pad was also a breeze and the lovely Yasmina (sp?), a medical assistant, took me back to the examination room where Dr. Sikar joined me shortly thereafter. Dr. Sikar's visit was exactly what I appreciate as a patient - clear, concise, and honest discussion to help me make a decision about my own healthcare.
