Lorin was our wedding planner, florist, and day of coordinator, and she was amazing! She thought out every detail of the wedding and reception and brought up things my groom and I would never even have though about. Super helpful. She is very easy to work with and really listened to our ideas, themes, and design hopes. We were on the less traditional side with many things related to the ceremony and reception and she was very happy to go along with our ideas and even add more! It made it very easy for us to put together a "custom" wedding with the greatest of ease. Her flowers were amazing too! We were really pushing our budget and she was very helpful with some suggestions. My bouquet was perfect, exactly how I always dreamed it would be. We also had some specific ideas about our center pieces that my groom worked on for a few months (he ordered some succulent holders and other items, and made custom boxes to hold flower arrangements), and she was happy to work with these items and ideas. And they came out so beautifully. Day of coordination: awesome. Just awesome. The day really does fly by if you are getting married, you hardly have a chance to catch your breath. She made sure so much was happening behind the scenes that I never had to worry about, it was wonderful. And my groom and I had two custom drinks, and during the cocktail hour, when, as the bride, you are having people come up to you every 30 seconds, Lorin just kept bringing me my themed cocktail when she saw I was out! I thought that was so sweet! Bottom line, don't hesitate to book Lorin for any aspect of help with your wedding. Lorin was just wonderful to work with. I used her as my florist and loved her. I had met with several other florists and none of them could come in under my budget and keep my vision. Lorin came in right at my budget and was able to display exactly what I was looking for when it came to the wedding. The colors were perfect and my centerpieces looked amazing. I hired Lorin as my wedding planner, because I wanted someone who could make my wedding as stress free as possible. Unfortunately, I did not have this experience. I think Lorin is a kind person, but wasn't a good fit for me and my wedding. I found that Lorin wasn't as organized as I had hoped, and she did not have the attention to detail I wanted. When a bride hires a wedding planner, she wants her needs to be heard, and I found that she didn't remember conversations we had about the wedding details. I didn't feel she gave me the guidance and support I needed for a stress free day. I've noticed many high ratings for Lorin, and perhaps her speciality is flowers (I used a different vendor) and last minute weddings instead. read more

Lorin's gorgeous arrangements for our June wedding made our wedding day and photos so special. We were able to meet with Lorin in person a couple of times leading up to the big day. We outlined ideas of what we wanted, but relied on her expertise to bring it all together. What she presented to our guests and us on the big day was perfect! She was able to take the fuzzy outline of our vision for the day and bring it to life with beautiful flowers, including succulents from her own garden. Let me just start by saying that I'm a designer and EXTREMELY particular about aesthetics. We hired Lorin to create bouquets for our bridal party and to put a small decoration on the arch we had for our ceremony. She went above and beyond. Our wedding budget got rather out of hand and I talked to Lorin about possibly doing the table flowers myself saying, "how hard could it be to put flowers in jars... I want a bohemian look... I'm a designer/creative director so I think I can do it..." She explained that there was a little more to it than that. After the call I realized that I may have offended her by downplaying the skill needed to create a beautiful arrangement, even if you want it to look rustic. I proceeded to do the table flowers myself and it was an INSANE amount of work the day before my wedding when I should have been getting pampered and relaxing. The day of the wedding Lorin came with the most gorgeous bouquets I've ever seen and the "small" decoration on our arch was nothing short of spectacular. When I showed her the table flowers I'd done she told me that they were a little too tall and then she took extra time to fix them. How sweet is that?!?! Especially after I'd not been the most tactful bride. Oh, and then I realized I had been mispronouncing her name and she was still sweet to me and went out of her way to help! Bottom line, Lorin is a very talented floral designer and an incredibly kind, patient lady. read more
