I experienced Unnecessary EXCRUCIATING PAIN(I was barely able to breathe through), SEVERE BURNS(that took over a month to heal) and was not even given full service I paid for and was fed false information (they didn't perform laser on my labia and insisted no where nationwide is allowed to perform laser hair removal there, LIES!!!!). I had a "Brazilian" laser treatment performed a couple months ago by one of the females in the office(can't remember her name) and had the experience described above. I am a nurse and work with doctors/providers that perform cosmetic procedures/surgeries including Laser Hair Removal. I also have many friends that Have received laser hair removal. The doctors/providers and friends that had received Laser Hair Removal, were extremely concerned about my experience and said that it was 100% not normal and I should absolutely not go back to that facility and to go elsewhere in the future. When I called Advanced health and wellness to cancel my second appointment, the dr answered. I informed the dr of my experience the dr assured me that everything I experienced was normal (I provided him all the info I stated above) and that I would not receive as good of care as I would advanced health and wellness, elsewhere. He also informed me that he travels across the country to sell the laser machine they use. Even after our extensive conversation and telling him all the pain and trauma I have experienced he still insisted it was normal and encouraged me to come and receive future laser treatments at advanced health and wellness. YEAH RIGHT?!!! Today I received a Brazilian Laser Hair Removal treatment at a new facility. The experience was amazing and DAY AND NIGHT at the new facility, compared to my treatment at advanced health and wellness. I wanted to wait to post this review until I received my first treatment at the new facility so I could fairly compare The experiences. My Laser Hair Removal treatment I received today at 'The face and the body spa and salon' in Brentwood Missouri was just mildly uncomfortable at times, but I was able to talk in comfortably sit through The entire treatment which is also about half the time as my treatment at advanced health and Wellness. The pain at the new faculty was NO WHERE close to the pain that was inflicted on me at advanced health and wellness. At the new facility they were extremely concerned about my experience advanced health and wellness and insured me that the pain and burns I had (that took over a month to heal and were VERY deep). The new facility is also Waymore affordable. I got six sessions at through Groupon for the price of one session advance health and wellness.

The results came entirely from my self home treatment -- NOT from this facility. A. My son then attended his appointment, received treatment, and I even provided my insurance card at check-in without any issues being mentioned. When I drove 40 minutes for my son's follow-up appointment, I was suddenly told that they do not accept my insurance--and, according to the staff, they didn't accept it at his previous visit either. This should have been caught before treatment was provided. I requested a call from the office manager to discuss the situation, but I never received one. I also asked whether I would be receiving a large bill for the treatment that was provided due to their mistake, and I was told they didn't know. For the follow-up visit, I was offered a self-pay option with a $100 copay, but the staff could not tell me what the total cost of the visit would be. The lack of communication, failure to verify insurance correctly, and unwillingness to provide answers or follow-up have been extremely frustrating.
