I found this place on Yelp, and boy am I glad I did. Location and the office: clean, there is free parking in the back, small but not crowded. Text/email/phone communication. Staff: nice, respectful and discreet. They answer promptly and appointments are not hard to book. Service: Suzanne, my technician, is great. she doesnt rush through the appointment and listens to you. The office has a policy that if you find spots a few days after the appointment, you can go back and get them done free of charge (this hasn't happened so far anyway so I haven't had the need to go back) Overall, this place may not be cheap like some Groupon places, but it's definitely worth it. Let me preface this by saying: up until recently, my experiences over the last year have been wonderful at Infinity. My technician was so kind and amazing at her job and the folks at the front desk have always been helpful. I came in for another appointment the other day to find out my technician would be the owner of the business. Update Time! I've now had two treatments on my lower legs, 10 weeks apart. Both appointments went really well. My technician is named Katie and she has been super patient, kind, & knowledgeable. After reading some people's perspectives online, I was a little nervous that the pain would be intense. Katie went slow, but it wasn't bad at all! Most of the time I don't notice it but the few times I do feel it I would compare it to having your skin pinched sharply but briefly. At this point, it has been five weeks since my second appointment. I shaved once 2.5 weeks ago and barely any hair has grown back. I have naturally thick and fast-growing hair so I am excited about this. I'm hypersensitive. So feeling the texture of grown out hair on my legs causes me sensory anxiety. I'm hoping to do more areas in the future. It is also helpful that this company allows a pay as you go plan to make it affordable. And since each session is 10 weeks apart, that's helpful too. I had a wonderful facial done last week by Diane. There were several things about Diane and Infinity Spa that made this such a memorable experience. First, Diane herself is very sweet and thoroughly explained everything she was doing to my face during the facial. I had talked to her about getting the more expensive light therapy procedure to my face and she convinced me that I didn't really need it. Also, when I asked her how often I should do a facial, she suggested 4 times a year - a very reasonable number given that facials are not cheap! Second, the facial itself was awesome - it was my first time getting a microdermabrasion and a glycolic peel at a spa - and both procedures really helped improve my skin. I gave them a call and got set up with a consultation which lead into the treatment itself the same day. I was a little nervous but Susanne was super helpful and very informative in both the consult and the treatment time. During the procedure she explained everything that was going on and what to expect in aftercare. Not only was she funny, but she put me at ease in terms of the procedure itself. I was impressed that the entire pricing "menu" was available online. I've talked to other places, and I kept getting the same hype about a "custom package" that others have mentioned; even when I asked point blank (on the phone) about price, same line, no answer. Not for me. Plus, Infinity has pay as you go pricing. After the first six treatments, the cost goes down, and you only pay for what you get. I don't like commitments; now I know if i'm not happy with the results, I don't have any further obligations. (AND I can go in for a "touch up" in 2-3 weeks if they missed any places.) LOVED Elle, my esthetician. Young, pretty, professional, most importantly, fast. The building isn't all glass and chrome like some of the newer places, but that's okay with me. I've tried two other places prior to Infinity; and only visited there on a friend's recommendation. That being said I'm three sessions in and couldn't be happier. As per Heidi A's review, the fact that their pricing is available online was a plus to me. Certain other (better advertised) places don't do that and don't even want to give pricing over the phone. I understand that there may be some fluctuation in pricing based upon the size of a given area for example, but at least give me an idea. The pay as you go is also nice; I have no reason to not continue; but I liked the fact that I wasn't committed either. My appointments have been with Suzanne and she's been wonderful. I'll admit I don't have a very high pain tolerance and she's beyond patient with me. Additionally, they can provide a numbing cream for the facial areas which they do at their cost (I'm taking their word for that; but I have no reason to not believe it) which has greatly helped. It's been well worth it for me. As was pointed out, it's not located in some new/shiny building; but the location is fine with me and the office is always immaculate when I've been there. Back again to see Katie! Honestly people, summer will be here before you know it and you are not going to want to deal with shaving. Give Infinity a try, take a look at the very informative website they provide or call the office and speak directly to a caring staff member who will help you understand the expectations. I've undergone two treatments (I know not that many, but it still counts). On a pain scale it's 1 out of 10. I would say this is a 2, meaning it's low. I know we all have different levels of tolerance but this is better than a needle stick, or a prick from a thorn or a splinter. Ladies if you have your brows threaded and find that painful this is by far much better. The best part, Katie takes her time and ensures your comfort along the way. Overall you can be in and out in 30-45 min. Even with my one treatment on the first two areas I saw a visible difference in my treated areas. Irritation and bumps from shaving, eliminated!! Per my education of hair growth, it grows in cycles so quite a bit of hair fell out early on, I have new hair growing but what a difference.
