    Asada Taco Combo

Service was super awesome, salsas are amazing, but the food was not great. Carne asada was very bland, the tortillas were barely cooked, and one taco had basically one piece of asada on it.

I've been coming here for a while and every time it's 5 stars. They have daily specials, make tortillas from scratch, and a daily happy hour! I haven't posted a review cause I'm nervous that a bunch of people are going to storm this place and the prices are going to go up, but honestly I'd rather see this place thriving! Stop by and try a daily special, or their happy hour taco combo!

This is a great atmosphere for a mid day work lunch. I love all of the various meat options they offer which include cabeza and tripa! Gives me the impression that they are authentic cooks in the kitchen. It's very clean and neatly decorated. When we brought in our reservation of about 20 people they had all our tables nicely set with chips, salsa, napkins, etc. It felt well prepared. I got the taco combo (1 carnitas, 1 pollo, 1 pastor) with rice and beans and added guacamole and sour cream. All the meats were delicious and the soft corn tortillas fresh. I absolutely love the chip cup for the beans and the best part is that it's fresh! I've been to many places where the bean chip cup is not edible but this one was delicious and that's a big win to me. My one mistake was biting the pepper that came in the beans which lot my mouth on fire for 10 minutes. Do not recommend. They have great specials here each day, the service is great and the food is fresh.

    Ceviche Mixto

Best Mexican restaurant I've tasted in town! We were first served an absolutely delightful ceviche, followed by refreshing beef soup. The portions are very generous--I ended up taking half of my dish home. The atmosphere is also very relaxing and comfortable.

Excited to have Los Altos Restaurant in Old Town Goleta! I love there food at Milpas location and now to have up in Goleta is awesome!!! The staff is friendly and very welcoming! The restaurant has a complete bar and plenty of seating. I'm definitely a huge fan and recommend the breakfast burritos!

Great service! The food was very delicious. Went with the family and everyone loved their food choices. The mango agua fresca was very refreshing and natural. Would eat here again when in the area.

Amazing place! Great service, drinks and food! Well worth going here - and the best value in town!

You know how when you take a bite of something delicious, you do a little wiggle, a little happy food dance? No, just me? Well, this place had me doing it. The service is also amazing and dog friendly! They had outstanding happy hour specials, a salsa bar, cold beer and tasty chips with the perfect amount of seasoning! I do have one complaint......I ran out of room to eat everything . I almost forgot, look how the beans were served! Sometimes, it's the little things, too. Please, if you bring your dogs, be sure they are well-behaved, groomed, and on a leash. Please don't ruin it for the rest of us.

We are on vacation and needed something close to our hotel. It was pouring rain but Los Altos was open and had easy parking. We got seated right away and our order was placed quickly. I love the salsa bar that you can get your own salsa from. I only knocked off 1 star because they didn't have any chips left. Other than that our food was excellent. I got enchiladas with mole and chicken and cheese with green sauce. Great service too.

Ordered Birria de Chivo and was not satisfied. The portions of beans and rice were disappointing. The birria consomé was very thick with jalapeños and peas?? I mostly got bones and fat in my bowl. Ceviche lacks flavor because not cooked in lime/lemon juice. Friends did enjoy the aguachiles. No AC, No ice in water. Average service.

Oyster special with mixed seafood and onion.

But the portions in food has gone way down. We ordered the fish n chips and the fish now looks like small fish sticks, the fries are such a small portions and the cole slaw is now in a sauce size container for what you get for a $20 meal. Now let's compare that with another local restaurant that has slightly raised their prices, but the quality and quantity has remained plus you get a view and great service (see pictures). Although, we try and support our small businesses, some restaurants have to consider what keeps the customers coming back where times may be challenging for them as well.

We held out on eating out and this was so worth it, just perfect and quality. Future birthdays and family gatherings will be here! Perfect fry on the fish and fries complemented raw plate. Chowder also delicious. Everything came out quickly and looked so good I didn't know where to start! We came back the next day as part of our staycation:) we got some more oysters because why not! lobster roll was the highlight, buttery roll and packed full of lobster. Given the circumstances of the busy weekend, I'll skip the details of the wait. The staff here was incredibly kind and accommodating (except for the small mistake of serving up our food before utensils but they were quick to fix this). Now, the food! My table ordered a Cioppino, seafood pasta, and a tuna club. None of which I enjoyed! Tuna club: the fish was dark and tasted of literally nothing. Cioppino: sauce / soup was super underwhelming and seafood not fresh. Seafood pasta: the pasta noodles were overcooked and sauce tasted like it came from a can. The view with ocean backdrop is nice BUT you can get a similar view at other establishments in the area (such as the various restaurants on the Santa Barbara pier).

On top of that, the ingredients were distributed completely unevenly between the two halves. I literally had to take both halves apart and redistribute everything myself just to make it edible. Nothing about this felt fresh. I also swapped the "house-made chips" for tater tots -- which turned out to be the exact Ore-Ida frozen tots you buy at the grocery store, and even worse... they were undercooked and mushy. I am willing to bet I just paid $16 for about $2.50 worth of ingredients. For $16, this was not just underwhelming -- it was bad, REAL BAD. Do NOT order this sandwich.
